Carrot Cats are a unique species, combining the genetics of a vegetable and feline. They don't keep the vegetable genes for long as the feline side of them takes over, making them seem like normal cats. Apart from the fact the colour patterns they have, of course aren't the same as those so called 'normal cats'. Well, some Carrot Cats are said to have the markings of normal cats, but that's another story. Moving on swiftly, Carrot Cats can also talk. In English, that is. Much like human babies and children, they will develop their vocal skills through childhood, making little gurgly noises as a kitten, learning simple words and so on. But not all cat's learning patterns are the same, so do not worry if it takes your cat longer. Below is information on the different stages of a Carrot Cat's life.

The first stage of your cat's life, is unsuprisingly, a carrot. Being a carrot, it can obviously not do much.
Kitten

Out of the carrot comes a kitten, a tiny newborn cat. At this point, the owner, or mother/father finds out two important things about his/her cat. One of them being the gender, and the second being the markings of the cat his/herself. In the carrot stage, markings and colours are marked already, but the patterns and placement is only revealed once the kitten appears.
This stage is also quite important, as your kitten will be learning about the world around it. Kittens quite often meet their life-long friends at this point, as generally they are rather playful. He/she will also be trying to speak, walk, climb and play, just like a human toddler.

The third stage is the child, a slightly more mature version of the kitten. Now, the cat is bigger and has more defined markings, and bigger aspirations. The personality of the certain cat is also quite noticable, and will indicate what the future adult stage will be like. Normally, cats of the child stage are extremely curious, even if they are the shy/quiet type. Some owners notice a slight personality change at this point too.

For Carrot Cats to grow, well, we haven't exactly found out much about this yet. Although it has been proven that cats/carrots who spend more time at with other cats, or whose owner appears regularly with them at the HQ grow much quicker.

Most roleplay should done at the guild, where there will be two or so public boards. There may also be a specific RP, such as an organized trip or outing. Private RPs can also be made, if two cats wish to meet alone.You will be required to keep small journals though, if you ask for them. Nothing too huge. I only want a post a week. As long as you're active I won't take your cat from you. Also, those with existing journals are to update them as well.
Formal and Informal roleplay allowed.
- No smileys, very annoying during RP.

Breeding Is Currently: Unavailable. Breeding shall be available when there are more existing adult cats.
Breeding, every living creature does it, and so do Carrot Cats. Breeding between two cats doesn't require any intercourse, all that is needed is a single hair from each parent-to-be. Our scientists will take the sample hairs to our labs, and begin the slow process of combining them both to create a carrot. Two carrots, actually. When breeding occurs, two carrots are produced, one for each owner. The mothers/fathers/owners of the parent cats can either ask for twins, or two seperate looking carrots. The gender cannot be specified, though.
Same sex cats will be allowed to breed, I'm not into the whole gender discrimination thing, that just means a pay cut for me XD.
Carrot Cats can only breed two times in their life. The first time your cat breeds, the cost will be 10k, presumably 5k from each owner. Although if one owner wants to pay more, it's entirely up to them.
For cats who're not of the same gender, prices do not waver, but remember, they too can only breed twice within their lifetime.

Adoptions are for people whom wish to Adopt one of our poor abandoned Carrot Cats. The adoption fee is 3k, just like as if you were buying a Carrot Cat from a flatsale.
Before you recieve a cat, we will go through a screening process to determine who is best suited for taking care of the Cat. We don't want it abandoned once more and left out on the street.

Adoptions are : CLOSED
Adoptions are for people whom wish to Adopt one of our poor abandoned Carrot Cats. The adoption fee is 3k, just like as if you were buying a Carrot Cat from a flatsale.
Before you recieve a cat, we will go through a screening process to determine who is best suited for taking care of the Cat. We don't want it abandoned once more and left out on the street.
