Welcome to The Hippogirff's Den where you may adopt your very own Hippogriff!
You can buy them toys, play with other Hippogriffs and their owners, breed them when they are of an appropriate age, and above all else; love them as they grow.
But you must remember that Hippogriffs are very proud creatures. You do not want to insult a Hippogriff...

Egg Stage: hatches in two weeks (14 days)
Baby Stage: A cute baby Hippogriff. Its wings are much too small to fly now. (14 days)
Youth Stage: An energetic young Hippogriff. You never know what it's going to do next. (21 days)
Adult Stage: A majestic beast with large, powerful wings. (indefinite)
Secret Stage: ???

Long ago, before the world is as it was, strange and wonderful creatures roamed the land. They lived alongside Men, and worked together to create a beautiful Utopia. But this peace was never meant to last...

Men did not understand these great beasts with their supernatural strengths and cleverness. They were too different from one another, and therefore; could never be equals. The men attempted to enslave the creatures; lashing them with whips and chains. The creatures revolted in a bloody civil war.

The war lasted 6 long years with neither side backing down. Finally, a brave wizard formed a treaty with the enchanted creatures. He had found a small blue planet on the other end of the galaxy which was very similar to their home world. The beasts agreed because they pitied Men for being so weak and ignorant.

The Wizard created a giant hole in time & space which opened a rift between the two planets that the creatures could walk through to the other side. Although the trip was short, it was full of shame and sadness. Human spectators watched, and cheered, as the beasts walked out of their world forever.

One race of beast, however, refused to leave its home world. It was the Hippogriff, and its proud-stubbornness would not permit it to move. The last of the Hippogriffs did not show up that day to be pointed at, laughed at, or spat upon. Hippogriffs were far above their beastly brethren who had succumbed to Men. So they retreated to the mountains where they seldom crossed paths with any other creature.

A millennia passed since then;
Men have spread to all corners of the globe, and dominate every creature. Humans have long ago stopped believing in the fanciful fairytales told by their ancestors. For as you well know; if you haven't seen something incredible with your own two eyes, you know it doesn't exist.

Since there are no real dangers left in the world, humans go wherever they like, whenever they like.
So two young explorers climb a mountain to discover what ever there is to discover. As they stop to rest on a wide ledge, one of them notices a large nest on a ledge across from them. So being the couple of bullheaded youths they are, decide to venture over for a better look.

The nest contains 5 shiny eggs of which the two had never seen before. The eggs feel cold, and they have to wonder where the mother is.
"Perhaps these are orphans," one explorer says.
"They could die up here all alone!" the other gasps.
"We should make sure they get a good home."

The two youths pack each egg carefully into their packs, and slowly scale down the mountain...

What gave me the idea of creating this shop:
Well, I am a fan of Harry Potter and one of my sisters got me the DVD of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for Christmas. I watched it and got the idea of a breedables shop when I saw the scene with Buckbeak. sweatdrop
