Welcome, one and all! This is my own alternate-universe Transformers tale, in the tradition of Robots In Disguise, Armada and Energon.
Alrighty, now to Da Rules-
1.) No god/modding. There will be no Unicrons or Primuses running about my universe!
2.) Post often, if ya can.
3.) No cybering, and though Transformers is all about war and wars are by their very nature violent, please try not to be terribly graphic with the violence. Let's keep this thing PG-13.
4. Post your character profile in the following format-
Name: This is your Transformer name, or your real name if you choose to be human. NOTE: Whenever possible, your Transformer's name should reflect either its function or vehicle/tool form.
Alias: TRANSFORMER ONLY- the name you use while in your Pretender Shell (human guise)
Race: Either Transformer (Autobot or Decepticon) or human. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis (in case you want to be an elf or a Mini-con or something)
Gender: Self-explanatory.
Function: This describes your character's primary specialty or vocation, or your character's profession if organic.
Alternate Form(s): TRANSFORMER ONLY- This describes what your Transformer turns into.
Weapons and Abilities: Your character's primary armaments, and special powers and/or functions, if any.
Physical Description: What your organic character looks like, or the appearance of a Transformer's robot mode.
Pretender Shell Description:TRANSFORMER ONLY- What your character looks like as a human.
Personality: A brief description of what motivates your character, his/her likes/dislikes, etc.

For millions of years, on the distant world of Cybertron, a civil war has been raging between two opposing factions of intelligent machines- the noble Autobots and their duplicitous rivals, the Decepticons.
Four million years ago, this bitter conflict spilled onto a veridian world that would come to be known in the ensuing eons as Earth, where a volcanic eruption buried the ships carrying these metal titans for untold millenia.
Until the year 1984, when tectonic upheavals revealled a starship that had crash-landed to Earth in a prehistoric era- the vessel harboring the evil Decepticons. Led by the despotic Megatron, these ancient constructs, armed with advanced weaponry and the awesome ability to assume the form of tools and vehicles, cut a swath of destruction unseen in the eyes of mankind. When their heroic counterparts, the Autobots, were surfaced soon after, all the world's nations assumed them to be no better than the Decepticons- despite the protests and valiant efforts of their courageous leader, Optimus Prime. To the humans, there was no distinction between these alien robots- the only good Transformer was a destroyed one.

Thanks to their advanced "sub-space compression" technology and know-how in the art of disguise, the Autobots walk among us in secret, disguised as the very humans they have sworn to protect from the Decepticon onslaught. The battle between heroic Autobot and evil Decepticon rages on unseen, by those who are More Than Meets The Eye!
