<center>My Thanks - For Everything
I know birthdays are usually when the birthday kid receives gifts... but I have a little something of my own to give all of you, my friends. In your own ways, you've made my life better and worth living for. When I'm sad, you make me talk, or you make me smile. You make me complain and rant so everything doesn't get bottled up. You guys worry about me and make me feel like I matter to at least one person. You guys make me laugh when I forget things left and right. But most of all, you guys understand.
There is very little I can do to make you understand just how much you guys mean to me in your own special ways. For my sixteenth birthday, I was wondering what I could do to show you that I care about our friendships. Considering that my talent lies in words, not money, I've spent the last month writing up these messages for you guys - something to try and express what I feel about you and what you've done to make me grateful for your friendship.
This is for you.
Sappy and sentimental and cheesy it might be, but for once, I could care less if everyone thought I nuts.
Thanks for everything.

Kirby/BriarRose- You know, I never did expect to really become friends with you. I'm not even sure how it happened, really - one day, I'd recruited you for the RP, and it died... then months later I PM you again, and then... we just began talking. And talking. And talking. It's amazing how eerily similar we are - it's definitely a little creepy, but mayhap in a good way, ne? I never expected to get a friend out of you, but maybe that made the forming of our friendship that much more stronger. You've listened while I talked about myself for hours and hours on end, and I've listened while you talked about stuff in between my small bouts. We've plotted, chatted, rolled, glomped, and just generally became friends, and it is just for that I'm glad. Thank you for introducing me to Airez and Kira and everyone else - but most of all, thanks for being my friend.
KiraKaguya- :3 Well... we haven't known each other that long. I guess it was Kirby that brought us together - RPing, basically, or writing and Gaia. ^_^ I'm glad I know you. There's no better way to say it - you're a great, awesomely fun person who knows how to make people laugh, which is probably the best gift a person could possibly have. You made me feel welcome to the little "group" when I was still feeling antsy about meeting new people, and that's what I want to thank YOU for, I suppose. For accepting me.
Elysian- Aiy... You probably won't get a chance to read this until much, much letter, Ely, but... well, knowing you has been so awesome. We're so different from each other, and we live so apart, but that one day I spent with you, cruising down the freeway up to Santa Rosa while you were busy getting your arm sunburned... it was probably one of the best days of my life. I'll never forget the hours that we simply spent talking and chatting about stuff on Gaia, stuff in real life, college, classes, teachers - wow, I'm serious, we talked about everything. I'm glad I met you; more than glad. Thanks for driving over here so we could finally meet.
Xellana- You're one of the sweetest people I know. Always so kind and nice, and so very thoughtful as well. X3 It's funny, I don't even recall where or when we met, only that I really seemed to like you from the very beginning. You may be a little older than me, but we're both crazy little kids at heart, and I'm glad that you bring out the fun and carefree part of me whenever we talk. Even those times last year when I was wandering around Gaia late at night because, once again, I was finishing up essays and other homework. You were always available for a chat, a little teasing, and... yes, a lot of other things. I'm glad I was able to play M+M's with you on your birthday - I hope you had as much fun creating hearts as I did. X3 Love you, Xelly!! ^O^ Thanks for everything.
Doodlebug + Kira- The two sisters who've made me laugh with their antics more than I can count. Laughter is such an important thing - it really is like a cure for all your troubles. When I was being gloomy and snappish, you guys didn't even care, just went all concerned on me and made me talk, made me smile and laugh and just forget about everything bad... just for awhile. Never underestimate yourselves - you two are truly wonderful people. I'm glad to be able to call you both my friends.
DK- Heh. I remember when I first met you... we were both these incredible newbs running around in the Charity Forum, wanting items and having no idea who all those strange people were. Odd, how we met. Still, one thing leads to another and suddenly... we've both become these two incredibly different people on Gaia. You've got your mod-ness, and I've got my... whatever I've got. But, surprise surprise... I didn't imagine you'd remain my friend this entire time. It was always cool, and still is, to talk to you about stuff. Just... thanks.
Xiahou Dun- Hmm, another late-night wanderer like myself. It was really nice having a person to talk to when I was up at, what? Midnight, 1AM, 2AM... during school, writing essays and reading books and trying to finish all my homework. Sometimes it got incredibly lonely, just sitting there tapping away at the keyboard by myself (and even this summer too, when I was doing work), but you helped keep me chatting and basically awake those times just by talking. There are probably a ton of other little ways that you've helped me, but that I can't recall at the moment... so just - thanks.
Adra- What? It's only been two, three weeks since we first really talked... and look where it's led us. Amazing how two kindred spirits can find each other, especially in a place like Gaia. We're so alike, yet so different, you and I, that it's strangely eerie. I'm glad I'm able to listen and offer you whatever comfort I can, though I know it isn't much. We've both listened to each other's troubles, and... I don't know how to explain it, exactly, but the first night I really, REALLY talked to you, it just seemed like we... clicked. I'm glad I've gotten to know you - you're an amazing person who deserves happiness. Never give up on it, Adra. Thanks for all these late nights of chatting aimlessly, and remember that if you ever need a person to talk to, I'm always available and at your disposal.
TearWolf- Yay for randomness! I enjoyed our late-night chats. It seems I have a lot of Gaia friends I talk to at night, but what can I say? I'm a night owl. I really enjoy talking with you - sometimes it's about serious stuff, sometimes about random things, and other times it's just plain fun with no seriousness whatsoever. Which is good, of course. So -- what to thank you for? Well... the talking, the knowing, the ranting and of course the company you've provided me more than once. ^_^ Thanks, TearWolf-san.
RainSpirit- Heh. Surprising to find a fellow RPer and bookish person in the Charity Forum. I'm glad I met you - it's great to be able to talk to another Chinese girl about Asian-type stuff. And... that one night, when I just suddenly crashed and burned, you were there for me to talk to. You offered sympathy and understanding, and listened when that's all I really needed. Thanks so much for the late nights, random chatting, and for our chance meetings all over the Charity Forum. Those were fun - that, and DRoP. It's hard to find people who also read the books that I read!! ^^
To Everyone Else, and Everyone Above - Gaia is one of those events that really changed me. First of all, it made me addicted to the internet. Second of all, it introduced me to a whole circle of friends who, to some extent, let fantasy and imagination take over, putting life and reality on another shelf for another time. I've enjoyed those days when I had nothing to do, so I just parked myself at the computer and talked with you guys until I realized that, lo and behold, over three hours had passed since I had seated myself. Though most of the time we all just joke around and poke fun at everything, I realize that we've all had our serious moments. School, depression, and in Kilala's case, we all had worry in our throats as we awaited the outcome of her surgery. None of us are immune to real life, even though we try to, in a way, escape it on Gaia. And though very few of us have ever actually met face to face, I don't think that would change anything. You guys have made me appreciate life and try to go out and find that which makes me happy. So - to all of my Gaian friends, to everyone who may have touched me in some way in this wonderful forum - thank you.
