Welcome to Gaia! ::

Has anyone read it? I'm reading it for summer reading, I think it seems really interesting.
is it the one with the witch hunt?
i've never read it but i've seen the movie... it was okay.
Hmm....not a great fan of Arthur Miller! But it's about witch hunts and informing etc. inspired by the McCarthy Witch Hunts of Post-WWII America.

Read two other plays from Miller, and I personally prefer Tenneesee Williams to be quite honest.

My friend said it was very good, but I haven't read it yet.
I read that book way back in high school. It was quite good. The things people come up with.

I read that and the Scarlet Letter in the eleventh grade. That and learning about the crusades pretty much destroyed my wavering faith in Christianity.
I read it in my 11th grade English class. I liked it. It was interesting and kind of made me think. Some parts of it made me kind of angry, but that doesn't stop me from liking it.
We all took parts and read it out loud in my 10th grade English class, it was fun. Plus since it is a play, it's more fun to read when you have people reading the parts.

I had to read that my junior year in highschool, it was written during the red scare. When everyone thought they were communists, and they just pointed fingers and stuff...it relates AND it's based on an actual account. I enjoyed it very much.
I read it my junior year. It was very interesting. It wasn't boring at least.
I read it in 10th grade it was really good. we watched the movie along with it so that was interesting too.
I read it in High School. My whole class did a dramatic reading (Acting and all) of it. I got to be Tituba (Sp?...I can't remember >.< wink and it was a blast.
I read it my sophomore year, and it was okay. I also watched the movie in class and it missed alot of things, like most movies.
I got to be Giles Corey. "More weight!" It helped me out on a bonus question on a quiz. It was okay, but I didn't really like it overmuch.
I might be related to Putnams living in that area around that time... ^^;
it's really intense. 3nodding
