This RP begins 20 years after the Shippuden time skip, putting Naruto at age 35. 10 years before, Tsunade retired, and letting Naruto become the Sixth Hokage.
Sasuke had killed Orochimaru and got his revange by killing Itachi. After a few years, he found he made the worst mistake of his life by leaving the village. He asked Tsunade if he could return, and if she didn't he would understand. But different from what he thought, Tsunade allowed him to reture, as long as he pledged his allegence to the village and if he broke that, he would be killed. He returned and slowly gained trust, having been hated after leaving the village and joining Orochimaru.
Gaara, now being the Kazekage for around 20 years, has been one of the greatest Suna had ever had. He found a wife and is now a father. He found, after Shikaku being taken and having died untell Chiyo saved him, that more people respected him and he was now living for more them just himself.
Naruto is married to Hinata, after seeing that she had loved him for so long, and found his own feelings for her. Along with them, Sasuke and Sakura are married, as well as Shikamaru and Temari, Neji and TenTen, Shino and Ino. They all have children.
Kurenai's son is now around 20, being so similar to Asuma, Kurenai's late husband, there is no mistake that Asuma is his father.
Now is the time we tell the newest generations' story. What will happen? That is up to you.

Bio: Heero is the son of the legendary missing Madara Uchiha, born in the foreign lands outside the Great Shinobi Countries. His father who resided in the Lightning Country after his disappearance recieved news of the destruction of the entire Uchiha Clan, this was the day that he took his on the status of missing-nin. He moved out of the reaches of the Hidden Villages to raise his child safely, he came in contact with many dangers but he was more then skilled at taking care of his enemies. His son, Heero, was trained to the best of his father's abilities, the thought that his child might one day run into the infamous Itachi was a little unnerving. Thus, he trained his son hard and forced the activation of the Sharingan by age nine, from there they went on to full sharingan status. He was trained vigorously from then onwards, even managing to best his father around age fifteen. Though in his old age, Madara had to let his son go, not wanting him to witness his final moments. Heero respected his father's wishes, he traveled back into the Land of the Shinobi Countries though with no headband, he managed to stay under the radar. He traveled through each of the Five Lands learning what little he could from his father's foreign friends, they each pointed him in the direction of Konoha for safety reasons. They stated that to return to the village, he'd be safe from the murderer of the Uchiha Clan, thuogh to be taken in and given sanctuary, he had to reveal absolutely everything to the Hokage about his existence, his father, and their whereabouts in the last three decades. This is what he did, traveling to Konoh under the disguise of a merchant. He came before the Hokage Naruto under the false pretenses of a mission request, instead choosing to reveal his full identity and showing his sharingan as proof of his lineage. Around age twenty, he was instated as a ANBU Captain and his secret as an Uchiha kept from outsiders until it was declared that Itachi Uchiha had been killed. For four years, he served the Hidden Leaf faithfully as an ANBU but though soon he relinquished that life for one more subtle in nature. He enlisted as a Jounnin squad leader, in his first year alone he passed through two teams. Both rising to Chunnin status, it was then discovered his talent as a teacher. When the graduation of the next generation's gennin had come, he was immediately stuck with one of the Teams though he's yet to meet them.

Style(Jutsu): Master of both the Katon jutsu and the only practitioner of the Kaisuke-ken sword style.
Appearence: Physical Description: Ryouten stands at a fairly muscular, very lean 6'1'', 185lbs. His face is rather angular and his jawline is very distinguished. His eyes are an unusual, but brilliant shade of light blue. He has thick, black hair kept at medium length with protruding bangs, which are kept out of his eyes by his head protector. He bears several black tattoos on his calves and upper arms, all of them rippling black bands. In addition to this, he sports several unsightly scars; one on the back of his right hand, the other on his left thigh, and the final one on the side of his neck, several inches shy of his throat.

Clothing: Instead of wearing the typical dark green vest many Jounin of Konoha wear, Ryouten prefers to dress in gray tones, wearing a black vest, gray slacks, black knee guards, matching elbow protectors, and black fingerless gloves. Also worth noting, the vest he wears is thick enough to absorb certain blows, but not thick enough to be considered real armor. It can also hold various items, such as kunai. He also wears a black long-sleeved shirt underneath said vest. The scabbard to his katana is kept on his belt, in the traditional style. He wears his forehead protector around his forehead, using it to keep his hair out of his eyes.

Bio: The Early Years

Ryouten Masaki was born on a cold morning in December. He was the only son of the Masaki family and as such, the heir to the family's prized taijutsu line, the Kaisuke-Ken Style. Even before he was born, his father, Sergei Ohsayu, had placed great expectations on his son. He eagerly looked forward to passing on the knowledge his father had passed on to him, which had originally been passed down from his great grandfather.

Ryouten's mother, Sarame, was a kind and devoted woman who had once served on the battlefield as a potent medical-nin. She had met Sergei when the two had been assigned to an important mission long ago. Over the course of time, they completed several other missions together and eventually fell in love, which was consumated by their marriage and child, Ryouten.

During his infancy and early years, the black cloud that would follow him in his later years had not yet settled over him.

The Leaf Academy

At age seven, Ryouten was sent to the academy. There he displayed great coordination and physical conditioning for his age, which pleased his father greatly. He also exhibited a good-natured spirit, which he had apparently inherited from his mother. His charm and kind demeanor won him many friends and admirers.

At age fourteen, Ryouten graduated the academy, ranked twentieth out of his class of a hundred and nine. He had mastered the basic ninjutsus required of him such as Kawamari no Jutsu and Bunshin no Jutsu. Before he could move on to learn the more advanced and complex ninjutsu, his father began to teach him the art of swordsmanship, giving him his first katana. His father told him that learning ninjutsu was just a waste of his time and that he should master the sword as soon as possible.

There was an inherent flaw in Sergei's plans for his son, though. His son was far too kind-hearted to become a fierce shinobi like his father. Ryouten secretly hid his aspirations of becoming a medical-nin from his father, knowing that it would upset him, and it became him and his mother's secret. She quietly taught him what she could, but it wasn't long until Ryouten's father found out and forbid Ryouten from anymore "nonsense", much to his dismay.

It was at this point Sergei began to grow frustrated with his son. He knew very well that his son possessed the skills and prowess needed to master the sword, but he simply couldn't or wouldn't do it. His son could not bring himself to harm other human beings, and this made Sergei angry. Sergei tried all sorts of methods to get Ryouten to "snap" and fight. Most of these training sessions ended with Ryouten being beaten and bruised and his father fuming. It was like a circle; the more Sergei would beat Ryouten to try and make him fight, the less Ryouten would want to fight, and Sergei would become even angrier and thus, beat on him more.

While this was happening, Ryouten had been placed with a genin team and his jounin master, Sreyith. His two teammates were both males, one named Hitoki, the other Irunu. Both were ninjutsu focuses and already knew several flashy ninjutsu and genjutsu techniques. His teacher, Sreyith, was a master assassin and knew much of poisons and illusions. He taught his students the double-vision technique as well as the release technique to break genjutsu.

In addition, he taught his students how to control their chakra in order to walk up trees and walls. Ryouten excelled at this technique; he had been born with a knack for controlling his chakra. After easily mastering this technique, he learned how to walk on water as well.

The Chuunin Exam

Eventually, the Chuunin Exam rolled around after countless D and C grade missions. Ryouten and his friends had grown close during their training and were great friends at this point. His group was highly esteemed among the jounin teachers and was expected to do well in the exam. Ryouten's teacher, Sreyith, was not so sure. He too had noticed how Ryouten would constantly hold back in sparring, not wishing to injure his teammates. He wondered whether or not he would be able to fight and kill when the need arose.

The first part of the exam was fairly easy for Ryouten and his team to complete. His teammate, Hitoki, had done exceptionally well in school and managed to carry his team through the written exam.

It was at this time the black cloud settled over Ryouten Masaki.

The next day, the second part of the exam began. He wasn't nervous; the gravity of the situation really hadn't set in on him yet. Ever the good-natured optimist, he didn't really view the second test as potentially fatal. His teammates had their doubts now, wondering how he could remain so calm.

Upon the start of the exam, all of the teams began their journey through the woods, towards the shrine in the center of the forest. Things started off well; the group was moving stealthily at a fairly decent clip. Unfortunately, a stroke of bad luck happened to land them in the wrong place at the wrong time and they were intercepted by a group of genin from the Blood village. After both groups had overcome the initial surprise of discovering eachother, the battle began.

Ryouten's two friends quickly fell in combat, both having fallen victim to powerful ninjutsu techniques while Ryouten looked on, petrified and unable to fight. Ryouten, having seen his friends slaughtered before his eyes, was now surrounded. Things looked bleak. The Blood ninjas, having so easily taken down his teammates, were confident they could easily kill Ryouten.

It was then that Ryouten finally snapped. Faced with the choice of killing or being killed, he began to fight back. The first Blood Ninja could not keep up with his movements and found himself impaled through the neck by his katana. The second found himself pinned to a tree by several well-thrown kunai. The final ninja tried to flee, but was ruthlessly tracked down and killed. Ryouten took the needed scroll from the slain ninja and his teammate and proceeded to the shrine, black cloud in tow.

Then began the final part of the exam. Ryouten was paired up with a taijutsu specialist for his preliminary match. The battle was long and arduous, but Ryouten prevailed, using the double-vision genjutsu Sreyith had taught him to throw off the taijutsu user's strikes and then retaliating with his sword.

During his next match, Ryouten was paired up against a female ninja from the Water country. Using her water ninjutsu, she created a large lake in the center of the arena, figuring Ryouten's taijutsu would be useless in the water. Unfortunately for her, she hadn't taken into account he had mastered the art of walking on water. Before she could get over her surprise, Ryouten had overcome her and forced her to admit defeat, his blade at her throat. His opponent looked up into his eyes and was utterly terrified by the total lack of emotion she saw.

Finally, it was time for Ryouten's next fight. It was here that he would meet his match, against an Uchiha with the Sharingan. While he fought valiantly, his foe used his Sharingan to predict Ryouten's movements and dodge his attacks. His bunshin clones were useless against the Sharingan and his genjutsu had no effect on his foe. In the end, he was defeated, but the judges awarded him the title of chuunin for the skill and determination he displayed when fighting.

Becoming a Jounin

Upon recieving his title from the Hokage, Ryouten returned home. The black cloud followed him.

He arrived to learn that his mother had died of sickness and his father had become a drunkard. Upon confronting his father, he found a mere shell of the once proud shinobi he had been. His father still couldn't register the fact that his son had become a real shinobi, or anything else for that matter.

Ryouten, now ready to carry on his family's tradition, asked his father for the family heirloom, a katana called the Kaisuke-Ken. His father was adamant in keeping the sword from his son, who he viewed as a cowardly fool. He told Ryouten that he would have to defeat him in order to take the sword. The thing Sergei didn't account for was that his son was no longer the good-natured boy he had once fathered. He was now a real shinobi.

And so the battle over the family inheritance began. Initially, Ryouten was put on the defensive, having a difficult time dodging his father's attacks. Surprisingly, his father still retained a good amount of his skill, even though he had not been training or doing any missions. However, all of his drinking and decadence caught up to him and Ryouten was eventually able to turn the tables, disarming his father and holding him at sword point. His father conceded the title to Ryouten, finally realizing that he was a worthy shinobi. Ryouten took the Kaisuke-Ken and bid his father goodbye, never to speak to the man who had treated him so poorly again.

He was assigned a new team to perform missions with and became friends with his two new partners. As he performed mission after mission with his new comrades, his bond with the Kaisuke-Ken grew and he began to learn its secrets.

It was at this point the black cloud reared its ugly head again. Ryouten was unfortunate enough to be charmed by a somewhat prominscious woman by the name of Luna. She was not a ninja, merely a barmaid that took a fancy to him. Ryouten was attracted to her fun-loving nature, partially because he admired how someone could live so carefree like she did.

The two began seeing eachother on a regular basis and Ryouten eventually proposed to her. She gleefully accepted and the date was set. It was then the black cloud that had followed Ryouten his entire life struck again. His fiancee ran away one night, leaving him for another man without so much as a goodbye note. Ryouten was heartbroken and cast off love as another useless emotion he didn't need. He then returned to being seclusive and distrusting of those he met, save his few close friends and comrades.

Over the next decade or so, he continued to grow in power and skill. Eventually, he was awarded the Jounin badge for completing dozens of high-ranking missions. This leaves us where we are at the moment.

The alarm clock went off around 11:30 a.m. Shina slammed her hand ontop of the annoying machine and pushed herself out of bed. "Aw man I slept in again.." She shook her head, trying to knock the sleep out of her. Her long black hair clung to her face. Slipping out of bed, her white night gown fell about her dragging along the floor as she walked and made her way to her bathroom to freshen up and change.
