Well, he says Johnny Gambino shopped in his store a lot... and Gambino is the Von Helson's enemy.
So they might be trying to milk him for information as to where Gambino is.
What about Gino?
Ah yes, Gino "The Masque" Gambino.
We think that they need Gambino's blood, and since they can't get to him, they need Gino's blood.
Why is Edmund trying to form an army of Vampire Hunters?
Because he wants to protect Gambino.
Also he claims that The Masque "isn't the only superhero".
Hinting that he might be a superhero.
Is Edmund a werewolf?
Most likely... Since vampires and werewolves fighting are very popular...

Because of his scar and his mysteriousness.
