So I'm finally closing the charity! Why? Because this charity just wasn't a success... I guess that there are a lot of charities out there but no matter what rules I made or how big my donations were... my charity just never became popular so I was left with an excess of items and gold. Then add to that my new baby and my full time job and the fact that, although I like people on Gaia, I haven't made many friends that want to connect with me elsewhere (because I am old lol).

So I'll be working on goodbyes to everyone soon.

Introduction

Welcome to the Friends You Haven't Met Yet charity. I've started this charity after my quest for an Angelic Sash failed due to the incredible inflation (plus now I have a nightmare sash which I prefer). Since then I've been using my funds to help others reach their goals that might otherwise be impossible due to the inflation on Gaia.

I'm older then most on Gaia, or that's how I feel at least. I'm married, have a baby and I work full time. I also play WoW. Because of this I'm not always available on Gaia. Despite this, I feel that I have run a very successful charity. However, I have tried to bring on staff including a co-owner and/or bumping services. There have been no takers. I have even paid for bumping services that I never received. However, I go on and continue to run the charity to the best of my ability.

With the help of friends, donators and donatees, I keep my charity alive. I have given away more than 4 million gold worth of items to people through event give aways, donations and gifts. I encourage people to stick around because, as many people in my thread can attest, becoming my friend is the fastest and easiest way to get a donation.

After long diliberation I have revamped my charity to further encourage applicants. However, I've also come to terms with the fact that if you don't want my money or items, why do I care? Feel free to hang out, bump, chat and even apply.

Rules

1. Follow all of Gaia TOS
2. Don't beg for gold. This is a charity, I only give to those that apply.
3. If voting occurs, do not pay a service to vote for you. If you have the money to pay a service then you don't need my money.
4. If you are caught using a mule for voting or applying you will be disqualified.
5. If you do not accept a trade within 3 days of me sending it, your forfeit the donation.
6. Fill out the application fully. If you need help, you may ask in my thread.
7. You MUST send your application via PM.
8. Your quest must be for a donation item no longer available for purchase directly through Gaia, over 40,000 in gold OR something you cannot buy in a regular Gaia store. Cash store and Prize and Joy quests DO qualify.
9. You must show appreciation for any donations received. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the trade.
