My main suggestion
This thread has been made, due to the intolerable amount of spam in
the metal sub-forum, and it has come to attention, that many other's
feel the same way. There is not enough being done to stop the
spamming. They are blatently admitting to ignoring the use of the
stickies, and continue to make repeat and off-topic threads.
This makes it almost impossible for people to notice and post in the
real metal threads, and many decent threads are being neglected.
The regulars are doing their damn best to stop it too, by warning nearly
every off topic thread. Which seems to do little to help the problem
as some people just continue to do it, just to make the regulars even
more angry.
We realise the moderators at Gaiaonline are very busy, and we are not
blaming you, or the admin. We feel though, that a regular being made
into a dedicated moderator of the Metal Sub-forum will be a good way
to deal with the problem, as he/she would be able to monitor the forum better,
and be there to stop more threads being made.
This seems like the only real solution to the problem at hand.
