Hi.
My name is Merv, MVR, or My Vaginal Romance, and I'd like to help you today.
I'm very bored right now, so I decided to make this Gaian dictionary for your use.
If you are new here, this could be very helpful.
Noob/n00b - A n00b/Noob is a member of Gaia who breaks the rules. He/she breaks the rules and argues with other members who've been on Gaia for a lot longer than them. Now noobs don't necessarily have to be poor. They can be the richest Gaian, but act like an a**. Noobs are often kicked out of threads, flamed, and banned multiple times. Noobs also beg a lot, spam, try to flame but suck at it, and many other annoying things. If you are being called a noob, quit Gaia. =)
Newb - A newb isn't necessarily a bad thing. A newb is just a new user to Gaia, and are often confused about what to do on Gaia. They probably have a username like "Fire_princess38560-294685837" or "cool_demonguy9277". (Personally, I hate usernames like that.) Newbs are often mistaken as newbs, and I kinda feel sorry for them. They may use chat speak at the wrong times, beg at the wrong times, and post the wrong things. But there is a difference between being a NEWB and being a NOOB. Newbs don't know better, and the best place to post for a while is in the CB(Chatterbox) or the Welcome to Gaia forum. There, you will learn the way we twisted Gaians work, and will be able to avoid too many bad apples here on Gaia. Newbs usually add other newbs to their Friends List. If you are a newb, learn quick.
Flamer - Ahhhhhh the flamer. These are my favorite and least favorite persons on Gaia. Flaming is the act of ridiculing or making fun of other members on Gaia (or any place else for that matter). Now sometimes flamers target the wrong people, and get their a** flamed. Some flamers are very harsh, but funny. Some are just harsh. But there are some people who 'think' they are good at flaming, yet make themselves look stupider every time they post "ur mom". Flamers are present in almost every single thread, especially in the Chatterbox. Many flamers use small font (like so) and have a weird username like "Miss Testosterone" or "Panic! At the p***s". Sometimes I flame, but I'm not necessarily a flamer. If you are a flamer, be good at it.
Exchanger - Exchangers are people who mainly post at the Exchange Forum. (Go figure?) They buy sell whatever. They're not very important.
Oldbie - Merv believes that the Oldbie is the most respectable position in Gaia. I myself am an oldbie. You may not believe me because of the join date on this profile, but look up "aa12." She (well, not she anymore) was my very first account. I was hacked, they changed the username, and deleted the account. Anyways. Oldbies are the Gaians who have been on Gaia since the beginning. Between February 18, 2003 and February 18, 2004, if you joined between those dates, I believe you are an oldbie. Or if you've been on Gaia for 2 years or longer. Oldbies have the right to flame and talk about the 'good old days'. (PM me to hear a story about the good old days.) If you are an olbie, you frickin rawk.
Smilie Rapist - The confused smilie mrgreen rapist xp makes xd posts biggrin like idea this heart heart heart heart heart heart . I hate smilie rapists. They rape the smilies. If you are a smilie rapist, go to smilie hell.

Regular - If you are none of the above, you are a regular. Or a hooker.
