Now, you know that I have stressed and stressed about how hard this is. I apologize IMMENSELY for the delay of the ceremony. I wanted to double check and make sure everything was right. Sorry again!

This contest has been very hard to judge, I've called in different people from different places. I did the best I could. I promise!

Go back a couple pages and read what I had to say about this competition. I am so honored that you all have picked my contest to be a part of. So, thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Also, please don't be mad at me for the choices I have made. I had to focus on creativity, quality, and whether or not you captured mine and Matt's personalities. Those were the three major areas of criteria in the judging process.

Because I'm so thankful for everyone's entries -

EVERY PERSON WHO ENTERED A PIECE OF ARTWORK (and does not receive an Honorable Mention or PLACE Prize) WILL RECEIVE 2,500 gold JUST FOR ENTERING! I wish I could do more, but this is what I can do!

[VERY IMPORTANT]

1. The number one rule is: HAVE FUN AND BE CREATIVE! Creativity reigns surpreme, yo.
2. Follow the TOS. Duh.
3. NO stealing. All work must be original and complete by YOU. If two artists want to collaborate, you must let me know upon entering. If this rule is broken, you will be disqualified and reported. Not only that, you will have bad karma and I will label you a cheater cheater pumpkin eater.
4. NO flaming or bashing of any sort. Every single entrant has put their time and effort into this drawing, so don't be rude.
5. You can submit as many entries as you wish.
6. Entries must be submitted by February 13, 2007 at midnight.
7. No naughty entries. Cute is byfar MUCH better than sexy, so keep that in mind.
8. I reserve the right to change or alter the rules at any time.

[ABOUT THE CONTEST]

Details about the actual art you are to create will be in the following post. Here, I will post the details about the actual contest.

[TIME LINE]

START: December 23, 2006
END: February 13, 2007 at Midnight (Pacific Time)

(A 24 hour extension will be permitted if the user requests it through PM. The user will then have until February 14, 2007 at Midnight (Pacific Time) to finish.)

[JUDGING]

The judging will be conducted solely by me. However, I may consult my husband and a couple of close friends who use Gaia for their opinions - in case I am on the fence about some drawings.

All forms of art are welcomed - Sketches, Line Art, Chibis, Etc. etc. etc. (However, I must admit, I don't like rough sketches very much. I want the drawing to look completed. Does that make sense?)

[WHAT YOU ARE JUDGED ON]

Most importantly - Creativity. I want to see original, quality artwork from everyone. Please do not spend 5 minutes on a drawing and send it in. It's a waste of my time and yours. I sold every rare item I have (except for my KiKi) to pay the winners. Please, take this very seriously.

[THE ARTWORK]

Finally, here are the details of your actual assignment. Obviously, I want couple artwork of my husband and myself. Don't worry, we aren't that old - 21 and 23. My husband just returned home from Iraq and we are finally starting our life together. So, I want some really kickass art of us. I also want it to be based off of our real selves so that I may show off your artwork in places other than Gaia, too. Don't worry, I, too, am an artist and I fully understand credit. You will get credit wherever it is posted.

Because we are working on Gaia, I have made two avatars that resemble our IRL (In Real Life) selves. Since that is what you are familiar with and the type of art I want, then it only makes sense! However, I will submit a couple of IRL pics of us as reference material in case you want to get a little more involved. So, I suppose you could consider us OCs. (Original Characters, ha!)

DO:
*Make us happy.
*Make us fun. We are a really funny and very silly couple.
*Make us cute. Cute is MUCH better than sexy.
*Make us sweet.
*Be creative.
*Have fun.
*Draw us in any pose you want. I do not care if it is half body, full body, or faces. I just want quality work.
*If possible, include BPDs. (Bonus Personality Details - Read about them below.)

DO NOT:
*Make us too sexy/R-rated.
*Draw carelessly. Make nice artwork. You get good experience points. </nerd>
*Disregard the rules and guidelines. Afterall, it is a competition!

[THE "CHARACTERS"]

Notes: My hair is rarely ever curly like the avatar, but the color is pretty darn close. A couple pf blonde highlights wouldnt hurt. It is mostly straight, however, and very long. I have bangs that I kinda swoosh to one side. Matt's hair is very close to that avatar. (Atleast now it is. In the following pictures, it's much shorter. Disregard that.)

About the Clothing: While it is not required you put us in what our Gaia avatars are wearing, please put us in something similar. Matt likes darker clothing and I really do wear bright colorful socks and "emo" glasses. The choice is yours! =)

[BONUS PERSONALITY DETAILS]

These are NOT mandatory or even expected. However, if you want to include any of these, it will make my day - and Matt's too! It does not guarantee that you will do better than others, but it will indeed make me happier. Again, it is not mandatory or even expected.

*First of all, we have a giant fat, overweight lovable cat named Mango. He's my pride and joy! =3 So, if you wanted to include a KiKi kitty and throw in some orange, it would be awesome. Here's a pic of him as reference. (You can't tell, but his back is mostly orange.)

[THE PRIZES]

Here is the moment we all have been waiting for! The prizes.

I reserve the right to adjust the prize money at anytime. However, the prize money will only INCREASE and NOT decrease. So, no worries. It can only get BETTER! =) I may also award other people just because they were kickass.
