I have a really weird theory about the 061206. But, I don't think it is accurate.

Also, if you go to save the picture in I_Am_The_Eggplant's profile, the save title is, "ftzurg." I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this, but it is a little bit of a clue, perhaps?

The picture in the profile shoots up to the following dimensions:

3200x1600

and the file size is a surprising:
699.41 or 700kb

Does this have meaning? Why is it so huge when it would have been easier to save the smaller file?

In all of the pages in the zurg login, it mentions "puzzles" in a link.

Found in the second page code.

Though I don't think the image has anything to do with this, but the mention of a puzzle does. I'll get right into the puzzles.

There's also some links to weird websites, and a few other things. Puzzle is also in the full length links to all of the pictures involved!

Also, a clearer look at the symbols is easy. There's a copy in I_Am_the_Eggplant's profile, which when you steal the link like so: http://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/event/zurg2006/puzzle/ftzurg.jpg and Click. You get a HUGE version where you can see every symbol clearly!
