Welcome to Gaia! ::

User Image

Hello and welcome!

This is Garden of Everything, or GoE as we like to call it. Here, the unfortunate souls are given a second chance at life, and in this second life they must protect the living. Naturally, like all institutions, there are rules you must follow, but here we aim to enjoy the second chance we have been given!

I'm the Division Secretary. I am the assistant and voice of the High Summoner and I carry out his will and instructions in the administration of GoE. Who's the High Summoner, you ask? Well, he is the representative of the King of the Dead, and he's in charge of Meifu, this great realm where Shinigami are raised and souls are sent. Hopefully while I'm here, you will not see him too much, it is not a pleasant experience I can tell you. Heed my words, and you'll do well here. I am open to questions, I do not bite, so if you are still confused even after reading all of the important information on these two pages, leave a note in the thread and I will get back to you with an answer as quickly as possible, though I expect there are likely to be some Shinigami here that will be able to help you too.

Firstly, some help for finding your way around!

Now, all good companies have rules that help them run smoothly and this is no exception. All rules must be followed and are subject to change whenever there is a need. Adhere to them and listen to our words well. We can be dangerous.

General Thread Rules

1. Follow all ToS and other Gaia rules, as well as the ones set down for this specific shop.
2. No begging, whining, snivelling or being plain annoying or being rude to staff.
3. We don't like drama in this thread. If you have problems, there is a little box at the door when you can leave your worries, and then you can pick them up on your way out.
4. Steal anything and you will be immediately reported to a mod and put in the Black List!
5. Please don't advertise in here. If you want to affilliate, PM the Division Secretary.
6. All questions are to be posted either in the thread, or if they are complex, sent to this mule only.
7. No co-owning. It does not work because your shinigami is you, it's not made of two people!
8. There is no limit to the number of Shinigami you can own, but we will expect each and every one to be given the RP rights they deserve, and we recommend 3 as the maximum.
9. This shop is RP positive! More RP, more benefits!
10. No excessive swearing. Its crude and looks horrible, and there are younger members in this place who will be corrupted by such language!
11. You are not allowed to sell or trade any of the pets you gain from this shop. You can give the offspring of your Shinigami to a friend for free or back to the shop so that they can auction or raffle them off.
12. Do not attempt to bribe an owner for their pet! If we find out that a bribe has been attempted or accepted, both the briber and the bribee will be Black Listed and have their pets removed and be banned.
13. Do not set up your own charities for this shop. Charity for Shinigami quests will be handled by us. Personal donations are fine.
14. No cosplays are to be claimed or quested for by anyone. If we believe a cosplay is worthy of this concept, we will sell it accordingly. Not all are permitted, simply because they would not work with the story. If you feel a cosplay will fit in, pm this mule to have a discussion.
15. Have fun, and be kind and friendly to everyone.

~There is a world which is similar to our own, where people go after their deaths.
It's not exactly heaven nor is it hell. If ours is the world of living, theirs is the world of the dead. Their world is known as Meifu, land of the God of Deaths..the Shinigami.~

Everything in your world, as well as ours, has a story, and it plays a very significant part in our company. The past affects us in the future, how we think, act, behave......We are Shinigami, and death is only the beginning...

Most Shinigami have died in a brutal, unnatural, and untimely fashion. They are mostly young, and probably had a very long life ahead of them had fate not dealt them the death card. Many will never remember their deaths, some, it blazes like a beacon to them. They are brought back to a second life by the High Summoner, through his adjutant the Initiator Ashika Suki, and must sign a contract that is unique to each Shinigami. This can include any number of things, from the right to kill their murderer, only being allowed to get the truth as to why they were killed, or just seeing that a loved one's life is not put in similar jeopardy. One part, however, that is included in every contract, is the same: "When you have fullfilled the requirements of your contract, you must continue life as a Shinigami, protecting those that are in trouble from a fate similar to yours, whether they be family, stranger, young, old, healthy or ill. Death is only the beginning."

After death, the souls of the deceased must be judged in order to be sent to the appropriate place for their punishment or reward, depending on the life they had lead while alive. The land of the dead is known as Meifu and the organization that handles the dealing of souls is the Summons Division, subdivided into 10, all dealing with certain areas of the world. Some Shinigami have the job of searching for the missing, some look after the souls once they are released from the grip of the Earth, others go hunting for the answers to unexplained deaths in order to help free souls that are going missing. Sometimes they are made to hunt for those that have already been listed as 'dead' on the register, and this is what gave Shinigami the common nickname of 'Gods of Death'.

Shinigami are assigned to these certain 'jobs' in their Divisions and usually work in pairs, as partners, though some Shinigami find it hard to adjust to the close proximity and trust required within the partner set up. This precautionary measure is to keep the Shinigami in line and on track with their duties. Shinigami are very important members of Meifu, their ability to move between Meifu and Earth, both alone and with humans, in body and soul. This power does cause some to turn rogue. Insanity due to realisation of their death makes some Shinigami extremely dangerous.

The Rogue Shinigami are dangerous. Not simply for the fact they can turn against the whole grain of the Division, but because they can use their Shikigami and Shinigami powers to murder humans, the one thing they promised to protect with their new life. Rogue Shinigami are given the chance to compensate for their sins by the High Summoner, but if he believes them lost forever in their madness, he will order their death via a hunt.......though some Rogues have been known to have eluded capture....

The life of a Shinigami is hard. Their job is protect human life, yet many lives end before each case is able to be solved. This will affect many Shingami in different ways, but all must continue. Partners will either grow closer together or further apart with each case, each death, each win.

Shinigami are volatile, and need a lot of love and attention after their death. If this is not given, they can become more and more twisted, and eventually turn bad. Lets not forget Muraki. One Rogue was bad enough!

Now, each Shinigami goes through a number of stages before they are able to become a fully operational Shinigami. The more rp that is done, the more you're able to control the changes which happens through each stage. RP is a great way of making yourself known in the Breedables Forums, and you get a LOT of extra bonuses just through RPing, a simple act that brings about so many priviledges and makes the staff of GoE very very happy!

Now, you are wondering what you have to do for your Shinigami, and what sort of stages are to be expected? Well, let me enlighten you!

: razz hoto Stage::
User Image
Your Shinigami is not a Shinigami yet, they are still human. Occasionally the name of the human appears in the Book of the Dead and some Divisions will send members to try to capture a coveted photograph and attempt to claim the 'newbie' when they become a Shinigami. At this stage, you as the human get to really make your character. Everyone needs a personality, and at this stage you can really get to grips with your character and you can really get to know what makes them tick. At this stage, you get to RP out the death it is the first stage of your transformation into a Shinigami.
This stage generally lasts a few weeks.

::Aura Stage
User Image
Your Shinigami is going through the transformation from Human Soul to Shinigami. It could be a peaceful change or a painful one. It all depended on the type of death experienced. This aura will take in everything that may touch it in the time of transfer from Earth to Meifu, which may cause some of the exotic changes that can be seen on some of the Shinigami.
Things that can cause change are:
Blood
Sweat
Hair
Fur
Among others. Semi customs or Shinigami starting at this stage can be RPed getting such items into the Aura, though some variation to the image of your Shinigami are got through different means, and these must be talked through with the artist and RP Manager in charge of monitoring your RP.
This stage generally lasts a couple of days to a week, depending on your activity and that of the RP Manager in charge of monitoring your Shinigami. This stage is to determine what your next stage will look like and what gets into the Aura, if anything.

::Materialization Stage::
User Image
The Shinigami is finally starting to form. A bit transparent at the moment as the atoms that make them up are slowly forming together from from the Aura, and the top half of the body is now fully visable. You can see most of the changes that have occured to your Shinigami, if any, and you can start to RP the Shinigami as they are going to be in the next life. During this stage Shinigami can be fragile but volatile, and are kept away from others in a room alone.
Occasionally their body is fully formed, but easily dematerialise at the oddest moments. They may adorn clothing but be aware of the Shinigami's fragility.
This stage takes a few weeks, as you have to RP the formation of the Shinigami from the Aura, being as graphic as you like regarding the pain or peace of this transformation.

::Realisation Stage::
User Image
The Shinigami is fully formed! They are now able to make their second life worth the hassle! They get their partner, and are able to mate if they like! They are now strong and able to control a Shikigami if they are lucky to get one, as well as all of their powers. They are given the ability to leave and go to Earth, and also are given tasks.
This is the indefinate last stage. Through intense RP, you may receive an extra stage where your Shinigami becomes more powerful and is seen surrounded by their Aura of power.

::Ultimate Stage::
User Image
Your Shinigami is at their ultimate! There is no further they can go, this is it, this is power in its rawest! They have harnessed some amazing strength, and nothing is even able to touch you in this advanced state! Your Shikigami is now a part of you, and it's shape is now a ghost on your own body, and the combined forces make you the stuff of Meifu Legend, up there with Asato Tzusuki and Kurosaki Hisoka.
This is the ultimate stage, and is only achieved through intense RP and through entering many of the side plots and other RP events. This stage is the final and most sought after achievement of a Shinigami, and once achieved will give you immense power. Do not let it corrupt you though...

::Flatsales::

There are certain rules that must be followed for flatsales, which are as follows.

Rules
1. Be nice.
2. Don't guilt or cajole someone into not participating.
3. Only one pet per person per flatsale.
4. Payment is due as soon as possible after you claim a pet. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the pet will go back on sale.
5. Send trade to Division Secretary after you've been listed as a winner of a flatsale Shinigami.

Flatsales are easy and fun. You will be able to claim a ready made character that was created by the artists, and this character becomes your responsibility.

The price of a flatsale is 20k for a basic character and 25k for an important plot character, such as a Head of Division or a Rogue Shinigami.

.:RP Prompt Flatsale:.
These are the usual flatsales and will start when a large red
GO! appears in the thread. There will be different prompts available for each Shinigami available in the flatsale, and you'll have to answer one in a well written and interesting way to become the potential owner. This is the form you must fill in in order to participate:
Owner's Name:
Shinigami Number:
Prompt Number:
Prompt Answer:

When the flatsale has been judged, which may take between 2-4 days, the winners will be announced and then they fill out the following form and post it in the thread:

Owner's Name:
Shinigami Number:
Shinigami's Name:

The following are previews of flatsale Shinigami.....choose well =)

::Auctions::

There are certain rules that must be followed for auctions, which are as follows.

Rules
1. Be nice and considerate.
2. Don't guilt or cajole other bidders into not bidding so you have more of a chance.
3. You can help someone else bid as long as you have their permission, but be aware co owning is disallowed, so it would not be a co-bid.
4. Payment is expected as soon as possible, and if you do not pay up within 24 hours, the pet will go to the next highest bidder.
5. Items are accepted, but only at the lowest value of Teh Guide.
6. Send trade to Division Secretary.

Auctions are used for rare, important characters or very very special Shinigami that may symbolise something. They require a strong heart!

The starting bid of any auction is 20k. Auctions can be for custom or premade characters. Occasionally, they will be for a Shinigami from Photo to Realisation stage, though most of the time it will be simply Realisation. No Ultimate stages will ever be sold, you have to work for those.

Auctions will always take place in another thread. When a large red GO! appears in the event thread, you are then able to bid. Bids should be posted in this format:

Bidding:
Total:

In the 'bidding' field, if you are using items, they should be put here with their pricing from the Teh Guide, then the total it all comes to. When the winner has been announced, in the same thread, they must fill out this form:

Owner's Name:
Shinigami Number:
Shinigami's Name:

The following are previews of special auction Shinigami being created. Come prepared if you wish to claim that special soul.

::Raffles::

There are certain rules that must be followed for raffles, which are as follows.

Rules
1. Be nice.
2. Depending on the raffle, there may be different rules and different prices, be sure to read the rules before purchasing or claiming tickets.
3. You can get tickets for others, but if there is a limit to the amount you can buy, it will come out of that.
4. Send trade and number of tickets to Division Secretary.

Raffles are an exciting and fun way to get a possible rare shinigami. The combination of luck and determination will certainly make the Shinigami very appreciative. The shinigami/Shikigami being raffled off is likely to have a story behind them.

Raffles are usually 100g per ticket, unless specified differently, and are usually unlimited. Read the rules before any raffle to see if it's unlimited or limited, in which case you'll be restricted to only one ticket per person.

Raffles (unless in a large event) will take place in-thread. When a large red GO! appears in the thread, you are then able to claim tickets. Simply fill out this form so we know you are claiming and send the correct trade with page number of the form:

Name:
Shinigami number:
No. of Tickets:
Total:

When the raffle has been drawn, the winners will be announced and then they fill out the following form and post it in the thread:

Owner's Name:
Shinigami Number:
Shinigami's Name:

::Bribes and Art/Pet Trades, Customs Info::

.:Bribes and Art/Pet Trades:.

There are certain rules that must be followed for bribes and trades, which are as follows.

Rules
1. All bribes and art/pet trades should be PMed to this mule.
2. If your offer is not accepted, do not feel that we are being mean or unjust. It might be that we are at this time not interested in the bribe or art/pet trade, or we are too busy.
3. You can only offer these when there are slots open in the Bribes and Art/Pet trades area. If there aren't any free or they are closed, the PM will be ignored.
4. Do not be impatient if your Shinigami does not arrive immediately. We are busy people, and we will get to you when we are ready.
5. Bribes are limited to one Shinigami per one bribe.

Bribes and Trades are a quick fire way to get customs. It is as simple as that. Each artist has their own bribe and trade specifics, which are on their pages. A slot is opened when an artist feels like it, and it is only at this time that you should offer your bribes and trades, through this account, to the artists. Treat your bribe or trade like a normal custom once it is accepted, and follow the procedures for a custom.

Below are the slots that are available.

.:Customs:.

There are certain rules that must be followed for customs, which are as follows.

Rules
1. Prices are set and subject to change only if an artist feels like it. They should not be pressured into changing prices.
2. You may only order one Shinigami or one Shikigami per month if slots are open.
3. Be patient as customs takes a while to complete. We are working as hard as we can.
4. Payment is due within 24 hours or you will forfeit your custom slot to someone else.
5. The artist is free to add or subtract from the base rates in accordance to how difficult the custom is, and you should accept these possible changes gracefully. To be sure, pm this mule if you wish to discuss quote prices for a custom idea.
6. No refunds if you do not like the custom. It is down to you to write a good description, and if it is not clear what you want, the artist will take their own initiative as to what the Shinigami or Shikigami is supposed to look like.
7. Do not guilt or discourage someone from buying a custom slot so you can get your slot.
8. Calculate by Teh Guide if you are paying by items. Be aware that no change is given for item payment.
9. If you are looking to get into Division X, you have to have your reasoning and history checked over by the RP Managers. Otherwise you will be allocated another Division.
10. For special adaptations, such as scales, horns, wings and exotic markings, feel free to PM this account for a quotation.
11. Proxying is allowed, as long as payment arrive within 24 hours of gaining the slot.
12. You cannot change the custom form once it has been posted to the artist. Make sure you have included all details.

Customs are for Shinigami/Shikigami that you have devised as unique to you. They may have a certain special link with you, have a history that you bond with, or something to that nature. They cannot be cosplays! Cosplays are done at our discretion if we feel they are suitable for the shop, not if you want them just because they are cool! Please keep this in mind when creating your Shinigami/Shikigami.

Customs need to be detailed to an extreme if you want them to be right. Reference pictures to hairstyles, tattoos, eye colour and style, etc. You must be prepared for artistic licence to be used on your custom if the artist feels it is necessary in order for it to look good. Artists will, if the custom is going to need to be changed slightly, get in contact with you with WIP reports.

Customs are divided into 8 different categories:

Shinigami Customs
1. Single non-growing stage (Realisation)- 400k
2. 2 stage (Materialisation to Realisation stage)- 700k
3. 3 stage (Aura, Materialisation, Realisation stage)- 1 million
4. All four stages- 1.5million
5. Special edition, all 4 stages- 2 million

Shikigami Customs
6. Simple Shikigami- 50k
7. Complex Shikigami- 100k

Please use these forms to write up your custom. Try and be as descriptive as possible:

We have a guild for RP, where journals, open roleplay and RP events will take place. To go there, click the below link:

User Image

::Meifu::

Upon first glance, Meifu appears a grand, imposing, yet peaceful place. Blossoming cherry trees are scattered about the grounds, carpeted with rich green grass. While the grounds may give the initial impression of a park of sorts, the building itself is a large white structure in a style of Greek inspiration. As one passes the ornate pillars, a pair of exquisitely wrought doors guard entrance into the building of Meifu. Inside, it appears much like your average office building in the general-access areas, but the individual rooms of the Shinigami are somewhat different. While sparsely furnished at first, they gradually take on aspects of the Shinigami living within as time passes.

User Image

::The Divisions::

Division 1: North America

The Shinigami assigned here are usually chosen for tolerance, due to the mortal capacity to blow with massive political, religious and general violence. They must be capable of handling the diverse ethnicities and cultures mixed up in America, almost anything you'll find elsewhere in the world can be found here.

Division 2: South and Central America

Mmm...Mexican food anyone? Shinigami here are usually suited to the colorful South/Central American culture, focused around family and fun. There is plenty of drug activity and poverty, however, and many brutal deaths as a result.

Division 3: Arctic and Antarctic

Cold, drafty, and isolated, this division is usually reserved for Shinigami that are new, antisocial, or just plain annoying. Need we say more?

Division 4: Europe and Russia

Culture, refinement, and diversity. Shinigami assigned here have a taste for music, culture, and fine spirits (pun intended). The land is declining here and is a prime spot for mortals and beings alike with more mischievous intentions.

Division 5: Africa
The harshest of the divisions, Shinigami here are confronted daily with massacres and horrors beyond belief. Death is on the doorstep for every child, women and men. While some called for Shinigami with soft hearts, others insist on those with a heart of iron for the strength to deal with day to day living.

Division 6: Central Asia/Middle East

A hotbed of war and conflict, this is a busy division, handling the many messy deaths. Shinigami should have a strong mind and strong stomach for this division, as it doesn't seem as if the many wars will ever stop soon.

Division 7: Australia

G'day mate! Full of sand, surf...and lots of poisonous and otherwise deadly creatures. This Division is often disregarded, its Shinigami dismissed as fun frolickers, but one should never underestimate a Shinigami of their own right.

Division 8: East and South-East Asia
Shinigami assigned here best start learning to be multi lingual! Beautiful exotic Asia comprises of some of the most courteous of mortals, yet most must beware of the unspoken gestures.

Division 9: Oceans/Islands

No, this isn't just Bahamas! Even the cold, chilly islands in the Arctic fall in this jurisdiction. While the scenery is often pleasant, the isolation can prey on some, especially for those surrounded by water 24/7. For others, they delight in cool waters and hiding from the sight of mortal eyes, as they breathe something other than air.

Division 10: Special Cases

Unsolved assignments or those of an unusual nature are sent here to be dealt with by the best. Shinigami here are chosen selectively based on their capabilities and their nature to succeed in the worst of circumstances.

User ImageDivision Secretary stands as the assistant and voice to the High Summoner. She is the shop's mule and handles all administrative task regarding finances, events and looking after the Shinigami. Her hobbies include organising, sorting out paperwork, reading and harassing naughty Shinigami who do not finish their tasks! But don't worry, underneath she is a lovely person.

User Image
Ashika Suki is Adjutant to the High Summoner, a high level and very responsible Shinigami, currently unattached to neither Partner nor Division.
He is soft spoken, enjoy long walks and given to witty and often caustic remarks. Ashika is here to greet new Shinigami and to assign tasks.

User ImageThe High Summoner is a mysterious being, a deep provocative wrath behind a gentle dreamy facade. He is forever shrouded in darkness, a wave of a hand or a slip of a smile could be seen. He resides deep in the heart of Meifu, in rooms connected to the Hall of Mirrors. Few Shinigami has seen him, and you would not want to either, for he is the Guardian of Meifu, in charge of ensuring that souls are delivered to their place and that no Rogue would ever disturb the peace he has ordered.

There are some rules for In-Thread RP. The rules for the Guild are in the Guild, so make sure you read them.

Rules
1. RP only as your Shinigami. You personally are not here, in this world.
2. Use whatever tense you like and feel comfortable with.
3. Try to use a separate colour for your Shinigami's rp, so that at a glance others know who is talking.
4. You cannot RP any other pet here, Shinigami and Shikigami only.
5. Use (( these )) when people are RPing to signify OOC chatter.
6. You cannot draw your own Shinigami to RP, only ones that have been bought fairly in the shop.
7. You cannot 'pimp out' or 'whore' your Shinigami, and should not look for a breeding partner for your Shinigami till at least 2 weeks after getting the certed image.
8. Keep the RP as believeable as possible. Sure these are 'magical' characters, but there should be some semblance of truth behind their characters. Not every single character should be a life hating demon. Many are kind, caring and selfless, though some will have problems with aspects of life, such as death in itself and anything to do with the way they died, eg. they may have a phobia of water, heights or knives.
User Image

Shinigami breed through the joining of the auras. This means that male/female, female/female and male/male relationships are able to breed, as there are no laws stopping Aura's from being able to breed.

The Auras go through a number of stages to result in a breeding. Firstly, the act of love must be present between both shinigami. Their Auras will then be able to leave their body when they decide the time is right to breed.

When the Auras leave the bodies, the bodies of the Shinigami go into a trance like state. The Auras conjoin, and results in each Aura forming half of the new one. The Auras return to their body after creating a new fully formed Aura. This Aura will Materialise into a fully formed Shinigami, a true Shinigami, bred from two to create a new force.

The new Aura then goes through 2 more transformations. When it has materialised, it appears as a small child, which needs to be cared for as a normal child would. Then, it will grow into an adult, and look similar to its parents and be able to work as a full Shinigami.

Each breeding has a fee of 25k, either from one of the owners, or split in half and given from both. The offspring must be given a new owner or an agreement reached over which of the parent's owners' receives the child.

All breedings result in one shinigami being born. The birth of 2 or more auras will be limited to parents who have gone through extensive rp or special slots.

The Shikigami are an ancient race, powerful, raw, pure beings of emotions and energy. Severed from Meifu for they have long been known to be fierce in destruction, these spirit protectors reside in the Spirit Realm, thriving in the chaos.
Only the most worthy of Shinigami are allowed to call forth a Shikigami, their very own spirit protector. It has been eons since the time of the great Tsuzuki Asato, the only one known to have binded 12 Greater Shikigami to his calling. Now only a few breeds would respond to the summonings of our kind.
Once bound, a Shikigami is of the most loyal, lending its power to its spirit summoner and defending them to the end.

There are 12 kinds of Shikigami *to come*

Some lesser Shikigami are known to crossover and find a soul to protect. They have very little powers but could remain in Meifu in their physical forms far longer than their Higher cousins who need to return to the Spirit Realm to regenerate. These Shikigami are discovered from time to time.
2006 Winter Feast Shikigami:- these little adorable foxes started appearing around Winter feast. They are of a calm nature and perfectly content to accompany their Shinigami everywhere, or to wander around Meifu.

So what are these Shinigamis?
They are supernatural beings who have died, yet granted a second life (not zombies), and they act as Gods of Death. Btw, in plural, they are still shinigami, without the s in the end.

Can I eat one?
o.0...no! They are roleplayable humanoid 'pets'.

Can I have one then?
Um...sure in the normal way of flatsales, raffles, auctions and customs.

What's a Shikigami then?
A Shikigami is a familiar, often bonded and controlled by a Shinigami. They are 1 of 12 magical creatures able to bond with a Shinigami and gives added power and ability to their bonded.

Why do some Shinigami have horns/wings/weird stuff and not others?
Because each are unique and created by the artists of GoE, and shinigami are derived from the souls of all creatures, even magical humanoid ones so you can get a shinigami with horns and other non human features.

So where do they live?
In Meifu, land of the dead, where they live and work, venturing to the mortal realm if they are given tasks to complete.

Land of the dead? omg..it must be so dreary....
Not necessarily, the land of Meifu is massive, spanning realms of every nook and cranny. The main area where the Division is, is surrounded by lush grasslands framed by sakura blossom trees, quite beautiful really.

Division?
The Summons Division is where all Shinigami are brought to. It is THE place, designed to handle all of Meifu's administration of death, whether to bring souls to rest, to find lost souls or other new Shinigami, solve strange death cases, hunt down Rogue Shinigami and bring them to justice.

Then what are Divisions? With an s in the end?
The Summons Division is further sub divided into geographical divisions, where Shinigami are allocated into and given tasks. There are 10 Divisions in all, Division X handles special cases only.

Tasks? What tasks?
As a Shinigami, you may be given tasks to perform in order to rise in rank or gain benefits, or simply to carry out your duty. They can be anything, easy or difficult to complete. Shinigami who refuses to handle any tasks may find themselves disappearing.

I don't want to disappear! ><
Then take part in events and tasks and rp =)

How do I perform these tasks?
Through rp events.

What's this about a Book of the Dead?
The Book is the bible of Meifu. It contains all the deaths of every realm, when a soul dies, its name is written in the Book, though not all souls enter the realm. The Book is contained on a special Alter to which only the High Summoner or those he gives permission to, could reach. Some Shinigami have been known to find secret ways to the Book...

I want to get into Division X?
Some special Shinigami may be allocated into Division X but others would have to convince the High Summoner why they are worthy of this responsible undertaking.

Who's the High Summoner?
He's the mysterious being in charge of the Summons Division....annoy him well enough, and you'll face his wrath.

Hey, what are Rogue Shinigami? They sound cool!
They are those who have strayed from the path. Rogue Shinigami seek destruction and death where ever they go. Muraki Kazutaka was one of the deadliest and famous of Rogues, carrying out intense inhumane killings across Japan before finally brought to rest by our Tsuzuki Asato and Hisoka Kurosaki.

Does that mean I can't go Rogue?
On the contrary, some Shinigami do get overwhelmed by power or by the realisation of their death or are just too insane, that they can and sometimes do go Rogue.

Who created these Shinigami?
In GoE, it is the hardworking artistic scientists who oversee the transition of souls into Shinigami. Takakun brought the shop and concept into existence, and the Shinigami are created by the artists.

Why is this shop called Garden of Everything?
It was inspired by the song by Maaya Sakamoto and Steve Conte. It's beautiful and haunting melody reminded me of the beautiful opening scene of Yami no Matsuei, so that's why. Also the souls of Shinigami seems as if they were brought together to the Garden, so many and majestic and sad and lost....it is truly the Garden of Everything.

Can I create a Shinigami?
Only if you're an artist at GoE. To apply as a guest artist or to an open position under staff list, send a mail to the Division Secretary.

Omg Sora/Sephiroth/anime character is so cute, why can't I get a cosplay?
Because Shinigami are created from souls which have been sent to Meifu as a result of a horrific and untimely death. Unless your cosplay has 'died' in their respective storylines, they are usually unsuitable to become a Shinigami. Send a mail to the Division Secretary to discuss.

Can I get Tsuzuki/Hisoka/Muraki as Shinigami then?
No. This would be unfair as they would be sought after Shinigami. The time of GoE takes place after the passing of Yami no Matsuei.

How do Shinigami breed? and what are Child Shinigami?
Their auras are joined to form a new Aura as a soul for their child shinigami. Child Shinigami are these created from two shinigami's auras, and they grow from aura, to child, to adult Shinigami.

So can two male/two females breed?
Yes, alongside male and female soulmates. Keep an open mind please, as love is more important than mortal social norms.

How many Children can one breeding get?
At this moment, only one Child per couple per breeding. Rp intensive or special events may allow your Shinigami breeding to get more than one Child.

Can I breed right after I get my Shinigami?
Uh...no, they aren't breeding machines. They can only breed at Realisation (or after), and only when you've had them for atleast 2 weeks and only if a Breeding slot if open.

How many Shinigami can I have?
At the moment, we recommend 3 per owner. You'd want to care for each of them as best you could.

What do I do in the Guild?
You can set up journals for your Shinigami (Journals act as rooms), roleplay with other Shinigami, set up any quests, etc etc.

Can I message you about problem, question, custom, quest idea etc etc?
Definitely, any GoE related things, you may mail the Division Secretary and you'll receive a reply.

Can I link to GoE?
Definitely, our link banners are under Affiliates, pm the Division Secretary for a link exchange.

What are Partners?
Shinigami are assigned Partners (not soul mates) who are other Shinigami to work on tasks. You usually stick with your partner through all duration, although some may find too many disagreements and may change partners.

Can I sell/trade/give my Shinigami to someone else?
You cannot sell or trade your Shinigami for gold/items/pets.
You cannot give away a Shinigami unless it was a result of a breeding and you wish to give the Shinigami as a gift (the Shinigami has no previous owner).
You may give your Shinigami/Child Shinigami back to the shop for adoption, raffle or auction (result of which will go back into the shop).

How much is a Shinigami?
Flatsale price is 20k for a normal Shinigami, 25k for a rp important Shinigami.

Why are they so expensive o.0?
Because We put alot of effort, work and dedication into each of the Shinigami created.

How long for my Shinigami to grow?
Depends on the level of activity from the owner, and the work schedule of the artists. We do have lives outside of Gaia. Time may take between 1 month or more between each stages (less between photo, aura-> materialisation stage)

Do you take pet/art trades?
Absolutely, just pm the Division Secretary with your offer. Please don't be offended if we decline.
