History

We at the LOTR Literate Fangirls Guild have been suffering greatly since our old guild owner, Lithwen, quit gaia. As much as we tried to revive it, the guild simply died and there was nothing we could do about it. The LLFG was committed to offering literate discussion without the interruption of illiterate, fake Tolkien fans screaming "Legolas is Hot" 24/7. After a while, all discussions were lost and all users stopped coming to visit us. So, we came up with an idea to keep our original guild, but attract more users. We should create a new guild! A literate guild! One slight obstacle stands in our way, we don't have the funds for the subforum. So here is where you, the gaian user come in. We would greatly appreciate your help. You have many options of ways to assist us. You may:

RULES FOR PURCHASING!

2. In the subject of the trade, please write how many tickets you are purchasing and specify which number ticket you would like. If you do no t specify, we will choose for you.

Please read all the rules and follow the directions carefully. This is intented to help raise funds for our new guild (inquire about joining/details) and hopefully allow a bit of friendly and fair competition.

Stuff to know:
> There will be 10 contestants
> The entry fee will be 250 gold and the winner will recieve 1500. The remaining 1000 will go towards the guild.
> The winner will be decided by a poll which will last 24 hours. The avatar with the highest votes at that point will be named the winner.
> No Tek-Tek.org or similar programs allowed.
> A fee of 100 gold will apply if you wish to change your avatar after it has been submitted.
> Send trades to Maedhrohir labelled "avatar contest".
> We will have multiple rounds if enough interest is generated so stick around if you miss the first one!
> No cheating or using mules.
> Follow Gaia ToS and thread rules.
> Post the avatar you would like to use in this thread once you have paid the entry fee.
> Contestants will be posted once we have all ten.
> Ample warning will be given when voting is about to begin.
> Contestants are allowed to vote.
