10/16/06- Not much, but I changed the thread name so it's prettier, and changed the poll. Only 15 more days until we start, so I'm trying to get as many people as I can!
11/3/06- Script being sent out tonight. kawaii_chibi_angel will be gracing us by voicing either Iron Mouse or Hotaru. (Possibly both.) I'll be accepting auditions until tommorow, and that's it, so if you want to be in the first ep, please get them in!
11/8/06- Script was sent out. List updated with voices. Received a tryout for Seiya. Going over amythest's tryout for Michiru. Very busy >w<. I'm glad this is coming together.
11/16/06- laurafedora is our Galaxia, and our temporary Seiya. Voice clips for episode one are to be received by the 19th. Then, we'll start working on the OP and ED, and then put it all together.
12/8/06- well, due to issues in my life, we're still working on getting the first episode together. I apologize again! However, we're still moving along, with a tryout for Artemis, someone possibly being another Seiya, and...OUR NEW LUNA, Osmiridium! Aoi and I are going to get a dummy copy of the the theme song up tonight, keep watching. Added tags "sailormoon, stars, anime, fandub, voice". think I should change them? Let me know. ^_^ Also tell me if you change your name so I can change it on the list. Love you guys.
1/25/07- Am I bad or am I bad? x( Ok, maybe just not good. I'm not doing a good leading job, but I still want this to happen, cuz I know all you guys are excited. PLEASE if you won't be able to send in your lines, let me know so I can get more people to take your spot! I know I'm very slow, but I don't want to give up. Okay? K. GANBATTE! 6/20/07- Almost a year later from the begining...this project is starting to get back on its toes. I know, I know. Bad, bad me!

Hello all! Obviously, since you're here, you're willing to help me make a Sailor Stars fandub! (THIS IS COMPLETLY AND TOTALLY NON PROFIT!)
This Sailor Stars Fan Dub will only include the Starlights Arc of Sailor Stars, not the Neherenia Arc.
Yes, I know that many Sailor Stars Fandubs have been done before, but I wanted to try my hand at it, and I'm sure there are many of you out there who haven't participated in a fandub before and want to.
Which brings me to my next point...
I admit, I have never ever done a fandub before, which means I am also going to need someone who is technologically-smart (lolz I sound dumb) to dub the voices in, and if possible, get rid of the subtitles.
What will I be doing then, you ask? Well, me and my lovely little sister [.Aoi.] are the directors, while the aforementioned person would be the producer. Aoi and I will be modifying the script to make it sound better, assigning characters, giving advice on voices, and hosting this thread, as well as contributing a few voices ourselves. Who knows, we may even (read: we will) give out gifts once we complete our first episode! 4laugh

A voice actor/actress provides the voice for a character. This job includes singing, reaching various pitches, recording your voice, and really becoming your character. You'll be bringing the senshi and co. to life!

A sponsor?
Sponsors provide the fandub with things, be it donation made to my mule account, Mule With A Mullet, for gifts or a guild, or better footage of Sailor Stars, as I have footage, but it's not the best quality. You could even provide us with company and bumps in our thread! All sponsors will not get a gift at the completion of the first episode however, because as much as I would like too...I don't have that kind of money. But sponsors who provide footage and gold will definately get a gift.

The producer will be a very important part of this fandub! They'll be putting it all together! You will take the voices and dub them in, make the footage look nice, do the best you can with lip synching, assist in making mini AMVs, and basically be our hero. We need as many producers as we can get, but you should all have basically the same level of skill. We don't want one episode to be AWESOME, one to be WONDERFUL, and one to be OMGWTFGOOD! Ok, well maybe we do, but you get the point. We need consistancy.

You can apply for multiple jobs, and multiple voices, but you will only get one UP TO TWO voices. You can get jobs along with the voices as well.
Also, please note that even if you don't check off every box, you will still get a chance. You may have an amazing voice, or amazing talent otherwise. Don't be afraid...submit!

Along with dubbing the episodes of Sailorstars, we will also be dubbing the songs! This includes the theme song, ending song, Three Lights songs, and if we can get a hold of legal copies of them, the character songs!
The character songs will be show with a choice scene of the character in the background, like a mini AMV. It will really showcase our talents. ^_^
I have programs to make karaoke versions out of songs, but if it decides not to work...this plan may be temporarily abandoned. There are already karaoke versions of these songs out there. Yay. ^_^
Moving back to the theme and ending songs.
All inner (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Moon) senshi will sing the begining song, with some solos.
The ending theme will be sung by the outer (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) senshi.
They will be english translations of the songs. (No singing in Japanese, sorry. ^^; )
The translations will be gotten from various sources; the footage itself, lyrics sites, and I may possibly try my hand at translating my own version. All of these will be mushed together, to form a version of the songs which sound pleasing in english. Since we all can't sing together, I'm hoping that we can digitally edit our voices together...producers, is that possible? ^^;

Note: Just because you are chosen for one voice doesn't make it permanent. More than likely, once you have voiced one episode for a character, your voice will stay, but there may be switching of voices based on critiques.
