I want your opinion on Kamehameha Schools policy to not let in any one Hawaiian.
Please no flaming and bad mouthing about Kamehameha Schools.
If you don't know what your talking about don't answer this thread.

Kamehameha Schools provides education for Hawaiian children.

Reasons why Kamehameha opposes:

1. School is paid for by Princess Pauahi's trust fund.

2. In Pauahi's will it says that she wants schools for Hawaiian indegents.

3. Government isn't paying for the schools education.

4. Meant only for Hawaiian indegents as said in Pricess Pauahi's will.

5. Has been tradition for over 100 years

MORE REASONS TO COME!

Reasons why they are chalenging the policy:

1. Against the constitution.

2. Every kid should be able to give a shot to be admitted into the school.

I feel that Kamehameha Schools should choose who gets into their school.

PLEASE REMEBER THIS IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL AND IS NOT FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT. I WILL BE CHECKING THIS EVERYDAY SO IF THERE ARE ANY BAD RACIAL COMMENTS YOU WILL BE REPORTED! PLS TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY I WILL NOT BE TAKING ANYTHING LIGHTLY. ANY CLUE OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION I WILL REPORT YOU.

I have never heard about this happening before. Please provide a link with information on it so there can actually be an extended discusion.

I agree with what Silver Dragon Hate has said. Everyone should be allowed to get an education. Race, religion, sexual preference, and so on should not be a factor for exclusion from a school on any level. The only reasonable exclusions I can think of is if a child or teen or even an adult has proven to be dangerous towards others. Such as physical and even sexual harassment, attempted death threats (I mean to the point of actually starting to carry one out, not just verbally saying so), and so on.
