Band Profile: (taken from MA, with a few edits by myself. And re written, in a paragraphed format.)

Children of Bodom, are a speed/power metal band with strong melodic death metal infleunce, haling from Finland.

The band formed in 1993, although they were formerly known as Inearthed, and released 3 demos under that name. (Band dicography can be found on the second post).

"Children of Bodom acquired their name from a legendary murder that took place in Finland at Lake Bodom. When four teens went camping at Lake Bodom in 1960, three of them were stabbed to death in the middle of the night, and the man who survived, Nils Gustafsson, went insane and was committed to an asylum. He said he saw the Grim Reaper. In 2003 the Finnish Police arrested Nils Gustafsson, who was assumed to be the killer. However, there wasn't enough proof against him, so he was acquitted, and the case remains still unsolved. The Grim Reaper is Children of Bodom's mascot and appears on their every album cover." I think Bodom is a decent band, my favorite songs are, Bodom Beach Terror, and Black Widow.

They're alright, but that is something cool to base a band off of. I like Kissing the Shadows, and Touch Like an Angel of Death.

Alexi is amazing beacuse he sings and -plays guitar and when you have a riff like the one in kissing the shadows i don't think its even possible to sing over top of and theres a harmony so you know that he's actually playing it. WOW

Hatebreeder is a decent album. 3nodding I like the sound they try and achieve, but IMO Norther is better.

Im not a huge fan of them, but they are a good band never the less. Still need to hear a full album though.

I used to really like Bodom, but now there are just decent, I still love Hatebreeder and the other old albums, but there just not the same.
