We all have bad ideas.




But where do they come from? So when Oni was out of the hospital and Karma was talking to him again..but only out of arm's reach, they decided to find out where. It was then Karma POINTed at Oni, which caused him to freak out and duck for cover.

"What was that thing by your head??" She said.

"Woman, don'tchu hit me no mo'!" He spazzed.

She ignored his threat, weak as it was and waved her hand. "Nono! Make that face again!"

"No..! You know..when you're thinking??"

"Thinking..?"

"Oh my god there it is!" Yes indeed there it was! Amazing as it was, Oni's thought power has manifested itself into a physical form!

5. I ended up in Banland! Can I get out??
It has no roads and customs are hell to get through. Think of it this way. you were striped, blindfolded, had yer legs cut off , yer hands broken to bits and dropped out in the middle of butt#$@! Kansas. Now find yer way home. ;| without a map.

6. Will you trade me a Notion for (insert pet here)??
Yes, but only for the ones listed below. We will make exceptions though..

7. I want to be a guest colorist! How do I get in??
We have guest spots from time to time. If there are any available we will mention so.

8. Can I be a permanent part of your staff?

Uuhhn.... no neutral We probably won't have jobs open.

9. If I get my notion revoked by being a jackass is there any hope of getting it back?
You ever play baseball? It's like that but with one less strike. That's right. Two strikes yer out. Unless yer a real a** on your first offense then it's to th' curb you go! Strike one gets you a spot at the Banland bus station. Strike two sends you on yer way to your new home<3. It has ducks. Friendly ducks..

We prefer y' not co-own : | that would make the breeding teams very lopsided.

ninja HOW ITS GOING TO WORK.... ninja </center>

Most centers base their flat sales on first-post, first-serve, but we here at Fleeting Notions run things a bit differently. When a flat sale is pronounced to be open, a question will be posted for you to answer. For example, we may ask you something like "If your house was on fire and you could only save one member of your family, who would it be and why?" ((THIS IS A SAMPLE QUESTION, THIS IS NOT THE ONE WE'LL ASK)).

It will then be up to you to answer the question to the best of your ability. It doesn't have to be novel-length, but it should be more than a couple of sentences. Most importantly, THINK, because we will be awarding the bulbs based on the best thought-out entries we recieve in a ten-minute period. Those selected will be allowed to choose a colored bulb in the order they were chosen (best entry picks a color first, second-best entry chooses from the remaining colors, and so on)

Again, we will be awarding bulbs based on how good your entry is, not how fast you post.

After recieving your bulb, keep it in your sig or in a place where it can be easily observed. When your notion is ready to be concieved, you will notice that your bulb is glowing. Report back to the thread to recieve your Notion.

After a certain period of indeterminate time (it depends on the owner, really), your Notion will mature into an Idea. Once it becomes an Idea, it is capable of joining with other Ideas (that means breeding, guys) to form plans. It is from these plans that new notions are concieved (more baby bulbs!).

It is rumored that well thought-out Ideas are capable of evolving into Concepts. However, this is very rare and we don't yet know much about it....

GOOD NOTION: One of the more commonplace notions. They most typically show up after a pleasant thought or decision. They are flighty, easily-discouraged, and tend to be taken advantage of by darker notions.

BAD NOTION: Devillish and bold, these notions pop up shortly after a shady thought. THESE are the guys who convince you that its a good idea to run naked through Central Park while yelling "I AM AN OCTOPUS" at the top of your lungs. They are aggressive, not particularly friendly, and love nothing more than mercilessly latching on to the nearest good notion and trying to convert them.

MUDDLED NOTION: This sort of notion just doesn't know what it wants to be. Its as much good as it is bad and assumes a neutral thought process when it comes to making decisions. Its less-common than the good or bad notions and some find it a bit hard to live with. It takes very little urging from either a good or bad notion to get one to partake in good or bad thoughts.

CONFLICTING NOTIONS: When you just can't decide whether it would be a good idea to finish your homework or swing from your light fixtures yodeling like Tarzan, you are experiencing a conflicting notion. These always come in pairs and are rarer than good or bad. The bad notion of this pair is particularly drawn and bonded to the good notion and the two of them are seldom dissuaded from battling one another for supremecy of their thought bubble.
SPECIAL NOTE ON CONFLICTINGS: These are one of the few notions we will allow co-ownership of because there are, in fact, two of them. The way it will work is one person will take control of one, the other will take control of the other. During brainstorming sessions, conflictings may be signed up as individuals (if one notion would like to attend and the other wouldn't) or as a pair (if both will be attending). The owner of the participating notion will be expected to partake in the brainstorming discussion. If both Conflictings attend as a pair, both owners will.

eek INFLUENTIAL ITEMS FOR YOUR NOTION eek </center>
The following items can be purchased to influence the growth and development of your notion.

MENTAL BLOCK: When put in place on a young notion, it will not mature to adulthood. This may be kept in place as long as you like and removed at your request when you're ready for your notion to grow. BEAR IN MIND, you may only purchase one of these per notion. If you purchase a thought block and then remove it, you may not buy another for the same notion. IN STOCK -- 150 G

BRAINFART: Go ahead and laugh. stare When purchased, this item will make your notion revert back to its infantile state. This can be applyed at any time in the notion's life, but its effects are permanent. So before buying it, make sure you really want to have your notion as a baby forever. IN STOCK -- 50 G

MINDLINK: Sometimes notions grow very fond of one another and wish to have access to the other's thought bubble to visit whenever the mood strikes them. For this, we have mindlinks. Up to six notions may be linked together at one time (provided you have all the owners' permission to do so). Linked notions tend to work on the same brainwave as one another and, as such, there is a better chance of recieving six bulbs from every brainstorming session. We ask that only RPed notions apply for mindlinks.THIS IS NOT NECESSARY FOR BREEDING. IN STOCK -- 100 G PER NOTION LINKED

FOUNTAIN OF KNOWLEDGE DRAUGHT: A single drink from the fabled fountain of knowledge. It will do as-of-unyet documented things to your notion. As its a rarity, this item will only be auctioned when and if it becomes available in the future. 2 Discovered At this time, 0 Available.

These are the pets we are willing to trade a notion for. Oni and Karma have made an informal agreement to co-own any one of these pets offered so you don't need to worry about appeasing both of us (like you care xd ). We prefer to do business directly with shop-owners but if you own one of the following pets and don't mind donating one to us via a breeding and the shopowner is cool with it, then we don't mind either.

Bear in mind, we will trade your notion at the time you are ready to send over your half of the pet trade...that way there's no empty promises made on either end and we're not left wondering about "Well, I have PLANS to breed my such&such in the future, so give me a notion now and I'll give you a baby later".

If you've made it onto this list, you deserve to be here. Your appearing on this list means that we, as center-owners, do not want to deal with you in this shop. For those wondering, there are several ways to end up on this list fairly quickly, including but not limited to:

1. Being hostile in-thread or via PM to other owners and visitors after you've been asked to knock it off.

2. PMing Oni and Karma to harrass them about bulb availability or pets of theirs obtained through trades

3. Art theft

4. Exhibiting assholeish behavior here or in one of our neighboring friends' shops

5. Excessive whining or fit-throwing during a flat-sale, raffle, or auction

6. Unnecessary guilt-trips about not owning a notion. (in other words, please spare us the PM's with the dozens of crying 's and your life sobstory about why you'll never get one)
