OFFICIAL GAME VS. BAND GAME THREAD

In this thread, you post the names of two games and ask which is better. The user following you picks one and then gives two of their own. The next user picks one, gives two of their own, and so on. Enjoy!

I regret being the bearer of ill news, but the guidlines for this forum ask that threads provide actual discussion. Threads of this nature are more akin to games of word and dialect and as such are better suited to the "Word games" subforum located in General discussion.

It's not A Vs. thread, it's a comparison thread. Instead of debating on which of the impossibly two games are better than the other, you give your own biased opinion, with no debating, on which one you like better. Than you give two more games for the next person. Rinse and repeat.

Some people need to know what they're doing.

The true irony in your argument is simple, never did she ask for debate or reason..... only a personal choice. Based on this the thread is actually more of a word game than anything else.

Well then I guess over there in the Word Games forum, about half of the threads there are Vs. threads. And if there are Vs. threads there, then why are all of the Vs. threads here moved to the Chatterbox instead of the Word Games forum?

Comparison (I hope you can read that word) is another type of vs. thread.........I hope I didn't make that to complicated I know you might have some trouble sounding out the word "is" and "of"

you seem to try and mask misunderstanding with feints and doges, to be a comparison there must be reasons given and drawn. This thread never asked for any such things. IT asked instead for a string of single answer choices and two choice options, by definiton this is a game of words with no real rhyme or reason beyond the most basic of semantic connections....... this it is quite honestly a word game by its very design.

ok you are clearly not right in the head........

Vs. doesn't equal debate......when you compare something it is like they are vs.ing each other.

Now please go get on the short bus and leave people who are tired of people who can't figure out that words have connections alone because I think you are making alot of people in your life slightly stupider

a vs thread is a single comparison...... but this thread never even asked for you to compare the games... only to choose one and then offer two more

it is by definition a word game..... go to the word games subforum in General discussion and you will see at least a dozen such threads
