JUMBO ANNOUNCEMENT!
We've hmmned and hawed about the past events at this thread and all the mistakes we've made, and we've decided to close the hotel. We've missed too many prizes and been too caught up with our own quests and lives to do anything about it. You will however, be able to continue posting here if you wish until it is closed permanently. There will be no more prizes from this point.
We know it's sad, but don't worry! If you guys can hold your sorry buts on until summer, berry and angel will be opening a BIGGER, BETTER, PRIZIEY, CONTSESTER (etcetcyougetthepoint) thread in the charity thread. We will be posting the link and even pming old friends who might not see the notice, because we don't want to leave you behind. We'll all be saying personal goodbyes and a little more about it here:

Guys, I'll miss you, I know I havent been on, and i'm so so sorry. i WISH we could keep it running but... we just can't. i hope more then anything that you guys will go to Berry and Angels new thread in the summer... i'm gonna try to visit as musch as possible... well... if i say anymore i'll probly get freakishly emotional so.. The best lesson I ever learned was to never cling to a dear moment; just relish it and be happy you got the chance to expierience it when it passes. The hotel was one of those dear moments to me. I had tons of fun with everybody here.
I'm proud of what our little home became. It was just one of those threads in the Chatterbox, but it lasted more than an entire year. That's an entire year of happy memories! The opening day... well, night... is still so vivid to me. So are a lot of things that happened that night that I remember clearly! *COUGHgettingchasedbyagiganticspiderandpaintingaroompinkCOUGH*
I want to thank you all. Our regulars. Everybody who bumped... heck, even the advertisers and rulebreakers, who gave us something to laugh at. lolzguyaguldzplazfermyquezt?

Ok, I know you’ve got the basic idea of what’s happening from above, but since we decided to say individual goodbyes, It might get a little emotional- bear with me.
Over the past... Has it been a year already? It has, and it’s gone by so fast. We’ve had such great times and made new friends every step of the way. But then things kind of screwed up, don’t you think? We lost a lot of close friends and regulars for various reasons, and we got so busy and caught up in our own issues that we missed a few updates and prizes- and missed you guys too. But really, we aren’t saying goodbye at all. We’ll be seeing you guys all rejuvenated and happy (we hope) in the new thread a couple months from now. But believe me, you don’t have to wait till then to talk to us. You can still talk here, by pms, profiles or whatever! It’s almost too sad to even bear thinking of closing this thread, with all its memories. But we’ve learned a couple of things here and there, and now we’ll have a brand spanking new thread that will be oodles better than this one if it goes the way we plan it. No matter how many new prizes, spiffy contests, great new people, events and all the new stuff we get, (sad attempts of luring you in here…xP) it still won’t be the same without all you guys. So I’m begging you- seriously- I want to see you guys again at the new thread, even if it means just posting there twice (which is better than once.) Have you guys ever heard the quote “we only part to meet again?” That’s what we should live by here.
So instead of being sad, look forward to a new beginning with huge prizes, great people, a great thread, and most of all, US! Berry and I look forward to seeing everyone there, and I’ll miss you.

I've worked long and hard, and finally, my hotel is perfect. We have an indoor pool, restaurant, five star hotel rooms, and a ballroom. Everyone loves summer, right? Good. Because it's summer here all year round, except for winter parties and events. Anyway, we just need you to complete it.
All I ask is that you read everything. Even -- *jerks thumb down at lower posts* --the ones established by my workers -- if you can even call them that. *glares at Berry and Angel as they accidentely set carpet on fire* I mean, who wants to read about different prizes you can win and event updates and art giveaways and plot updates and -- eek

Rules 3, sometimes 4, and 5 will start with a brief warning. If you disobey the rules again, you will be Blizzard-Listed.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Follow the Gaia ToS. It's not that hard to do.
2. Keep it PG-13. That includes no cybering. This entire community is PG-13, so why should it change here? stare
3. No advertising in this thread. If you would like to be an affliate, PM Berry or Angel. I can't get on a lot, so those two idio- I mean, lovely ladies will take care of everything. 3nodding
4. No begging or asking for donations in the thread, or PMing us asking for stuff. It's a waste of our time and yours. stare
5. NO page stretching. There's no need for it. stare You will be warned after one time, then Blizzard-Listed.
6. You are not allowed to post with your mule and your regular account at the same time when you are 10 pages below the prize page. It's unfair and if you are caught then you will be Blizzard-listed. Any other time is fine. 3nodding
7. Respect everyone here. That shouldn't even be mentioned-- you should all know that. stare
8. DO NOT Godmod/Autohit.
9. Please keep swearing to a minimum.
You may also bump, but try to say something a little creative. 3nodding
If you see someone that has broken a major rule, include a screencap/quote, with the persons' name, rule broken, and the page number. PM the info to Berry or Angel. 3nodding
