Welcome to my shop! I hope you like the pets I am offering to the general public. The Leotaurs came about cause I drew some lineart to auction and decided to keep it! Read on and immerse yourself in the world of the Leotaur!

To those that are wondering - yes, I took the Beetlegryphs down. This is not a permanent thing, though when they return it will be in the Army of Dillos shop instead of here. If you are interested, I will still be accepting Beetlegryph customs and breeding, so PM me and we will discuss it.

Let's keep this simple.

1 - No stealing. This goes for my art, concept etc.
2 - No whining. I have a life. If your custom seems to take a while, it's cause I do have other things to do.
3 - No nastiness. This means in any way, shape or form.
4 - Please do not quote anything on the first page - if explanations are needed, leave it up to me to do.
5 - Follow the general Gaia ToS.
6 - I reserve the right to add more rules if necessary.

Are Leotaurs RP required?
Nope, though feel free to do so!

Are Leotaurs breedable?
Yup!

Do you do pet trades?
If I like the pet you are offering, yes, I do. These are for custom/custom Fully Growing only though.

Do you accept items as payment?
I would prefer pure gold, though I will accept sealed/thankyou letters instead, and donation items valued at mid Lucky Devil.

How many pets can I own?
As many as you can afford!

How many can I purchase each sale?
One per flatsale per owner, unless it goes into a second day. This means that you can buy one for yourself, and one per friend if you like, but if you want a second, you have to wait until the next day and see if any are left.

But I won't be here foe the sale, and really want a certain egg!
Then you can prebuy, but prebuying a Leotaur will cost you a sealed letter. Not a thankyou one, a sealed one.!

As you can see by the image, Leotaurs have four stages, with gender specific lineart for the child, teen and adult stages. Each of these stages lasts for about a week, though sometimes I might grow them early if I get bored. They are shown smaller than actual size.

Once your Leotaur reaches the adult stage, you have a week to host it yourself; I will remove it from my server after 7 days. When you have three days left, there will be a sweating emoticon next to your name in the owner's list. If you will be away from Gaia, let me know early.

Leotaurs have types based on their personality, which really says it all about them. These are such types as:

'Good' Types: Shy, Cheerful, Honorable, Compassionate, Playful, Calm, Lucky

'Neutral' Types: Flirtatious, Mischevious, Secretive, Lawful, Mysterious, Wild

'Evil' Types: Aggressive, Jealous, Dastardly, Betrayal, Depressive, Sly, Coldhearted

This section is an explanation of flatsales. For Custom Leotaurs, see the appropriate section further down the thread.

Flatsales will happen when I feel like it, meaning that there might be two days between sales, or there might be two weeks. I have lots of shops to look after! Sales are open to anyone, and you can get one Leotaur per owner per sale. If the sale goes into a second day, I will post that those who have already participated may get a second Leotaur.

Sales will work like this.

1 - I will tend to give a day or so notice of a flatsale happening, though there are times that I will just spring one onto you all. Generally, when you see the previews up, the sale is only a day away.

Please note that if you are unable to make the sale, you can prebuy a Taur. The prebuy cost is one sealed letter.

2 - You must wait for me to post that the sale is on, in big, brown, bold letters. Any attempt to claim an egg before this will be ignored.

3 - Once I confirm that you have gotten the egg, generally by quoting your post in which I will let you know the gender of the egg if I forget to do so in the flatsale image, you must post the name you wish to give your Leotaur in the shop, then send the trade.

4 - Once a post is made to claim an egg, you may not edit it. This is unfair to others.

5 - As soon as I have received the trade, I will cert your Leotaur and post it into the appropriate pickups section. You will need to right click the image to get the code for it.

6 - When you have your new pet, please let me know so I can remove it from the pickups section. They will be removed anyway after three days, and if you have failed to pick it up in this time you will need to PM me for the link.

This is where you will be able to see the eggs available for a flatsale. Remember, flatsale eggs cost 3k, and you are limited to one per sale per owner unless the sale goes into a second day, in which you can purchase a second egg.

I finally decided to get some items happening! Here you can see the types there are, and how many are available. Several of the potions (the ones at the bottom) apply to the abilities section, which will be up shortly. Just though I would get them in here first!

To order, just post in the thread which item you are buying, and any relevant details such as the Ability, or colours for the rings (once they are available, that is), and send the trade with the page number of your post in the title (or the whole order if it fits).

Note - the basic Potion Bottle and ring are free clipart, with the colouring done by me.

Far Left - Female Grow Potion - 250g - Available: Always
Will grow your Female Leotaur to the next stage immediately, rather than waiting for it to happen in time.
Centre Left - Male Grow Potion - 250g - Available: Always
Will grow your Male Leotaur to the next stage, rather than waiting for it to happen in time.
Centre Right - Super Grow Potion - 500g - Available: Always
Will grow your Leotaur right to the Adult stage, rather than waiting for it to happen in time.
Far Right - Hiatus Potion - 250g - Available: Always
Will stop your Leotaur growing at a stage. Cannot be reversed once done.

Mystery Potion - 1k - Available: None
What happens with this potion? Nobody knows! It might give your Taur a tattoo, or change it's hair colour, or grow, or give you discount off your next purchase... it's a gamble to be sure!

Will give your Leotaur your choice of the water elemental abilities shown in the section below. Leotaurs can only have one ability, and a Pair must have both with the same one as well.

Left - Angel Ring - 5k - Available: None
This ring will make your Leotaur into an angel! (Once I get my scanner happening and can get the lineart happening, that is.) Your leotaur will gain wings and a halo in your choice of colour.
Centre - Demon Ring - 5k - Available: None
This ring will make your Leotaur into a demon! (Once I get my scanner happening and can get the lineart happening, that is.) Your leotaur will gain wings and horns in your choice of colour.
Right - Fairy Ring - 7k - Available: None
This ring will make your Leotaur into a fairy! (Once I get my scanner happening and can get the lineart happening, that is.) Your leotaur will gain wings in your choice of colours and a wand or staff (your choice).

From now on, the certificates have a new thing - your Leotaur can have an ability! At the moment, it is only one per Leotaur, so please choose carefully. Once you choose, you cannot change your mind. To gain these abilities, you will need to purchase the appropriate potion when it is available. (See above.)

Please note that abilities cannot be bought for already finished growing Leotaurs, as that would involve more work than I really want to do. Those still growing are much easier to have certs changed to include the Ability part, and of course, all sold from now on will have it.

I have kept the descriptions of the abilites fairly simple so that when you RP, you have some scope to decide what the ability is actually good for. For instance, Gaia's Vine could immobilise an enemy, or be used to hold something still, to decorate a home...

Mother Earth Potion

Gaia's Vine - creates tough vines
Rock Solid - increases Leotaur's strength temporarily
Earthen Boon - allows food plants to be grown at amazing speed
Tracker - makes it impossible for the Leotaur to become lost
Chameleon Hide - camouflage ability

Rainbow Sky Potion

Gale Force - creates a strong wind
Healing Zephyr - can heal minor wounds
Cloud Cover - summons a fog
Haunting Tune - allows the Leotaur to make music with nothing but air
Whisperer - can talk to another Leotaur over incredible distance

Sunset Blaze Potion

Brightfire - creates a fireball
Heatwave - creates heat without flame
Dancing Spark - creates a light-shedding, heatless spark
Flashfire Feet - temporarily increases the Leotaur's speed
Flame Shadow - steals all light from a small area

Deep Sea Potion

Tsunamini - creates a wave of water
Phantom Gills - allows the Leotaur to breathe underwater
Purification - any liquid can be transformed into drinkable water
Ocean's Tongue - the Leotaur can speak to animals
Bubbleburst - creates explosive bubbles

Say what? Well, what it says. You get a male and female Leotaur on the one certificate! Oooh, funky.... plus, you get the choice of having adult only or the fully growing ones! For now, these are only available as customs. I may have a flatsale every now and then with pairs, but this will be way rare. So. What does a pair look like?

Don't want to wait for a flatsale? Well, you can order yourself a custom Leotaur! You go about it like this:

First, make sure you are willing to pay the price.

Adult Customs (no lineart edits) cost from 2k-3k, depending on complexity.
Growing Customs (no lineart edits) cost from 10k-12k, depending on complexity.
Adult Cosplay/Lineart Changes cost from 6k-10k, depending on complexity.
Growing Cosplay/Lineart Changes cost from 15k to 30k, depending on complexity.

Note on Growing Cosplay/Lineart Changes - some elements of your custom may not be able to be applied to the egg and child stages, for instance hairstyle changes etc (males must always have the mane, however). This will be discussed via PM when I quote a price.

Note - there will be no more Cosplay Leotaurs until my scanner is fixed. Sorry!

What You Need to Know

1. Unfortunately, due to nature being what it is, same-sex couples cannot breed. So, you have to have one male and one female Adult Leotaur.

2. These two parents don't have to be owned by the same person, but your potential breeding partner's owner must agree, as with a two-owner breeding you must both pay part of the cost unless otherwise discussed with me.

3. So. Breeding will cost you 2k per Leotaur Egg the first time these parents breed, and you can have a maximum of two offspring per breeding.

4. The second and subsequent breeding undertaken by either parent will cost you 2.5k per egg, and again you may have a maximum of two offspring.

5. Parents with the same personality (type) cannot breed - you know the old saying 'familiarity breeds contempt'? Well, in this case it is 'similarity breeds contempt'. *giggle*

6. Offspring types will be one of the parent's, and their colouring will have something in common with the parent's.

7. With those Leotaurs bearing lineart edits, these parent's outfits will not transfer to the offspring.

What You Must Do

1. Make sure that the potential parents match the criteria above, and that you have the gold.

2. Check to see if a slot is open.

3. Fill out the form below, and PM it to me else I might lose it. Make sure to title the PM as Leotaur Breeding. Then you must send the trade(/s, depending on how many owners are involved). Once I have received them, I will get to work on the breeding.

4. Watch the pickups section for your offspring to be posted! It shouldn't take more than two or three days, depending on how busy I am. If it takes more, don't complain - it's not my fault I get busy.

Here is where I will make a note of who owns what Leotaur. If there is a ???? where the name should be, this means that you still haven't named yours.

Also, please note that if there is a sweating emoticon next to your name, you must now host the Leotaur yourself within 3 days or risk losing it, as I will not always send PMs to notify you when this is necessary. If there in one at each end of your name, your Leotaur will be deleted from my server within 24 hours! If your name is in italics, your Leotaur is gone from my server without me being notified that you have it. I hope that you actually have saved it and just forget to tell me...
