Quimeras have existed since the first mammals appeared on earth. Some of the first recordings of their existance were made by the Greeks. These recordings are now known to us as part of ancient mythologies. However, quimeras are real and living creatures. About 50 years ago some quimeras were found on an unexplored island, now named Fuegma Island. A high tech animal center was built on the island's shore to study quimera behavior. We were surprised to find that unlike the fire breathing, flesh eating beast described in greek stories, quimeras are actually calm, easily tameable creatures (though their tails act different), that can learn human speech after some months, sometimes years, of interaction.

All knowledge of these clever animals was intended to be kept a secret. However, due to lack of funds, and in order to continue the investigation it was decided to sell ownership of some quimeras. Due to their easy-going nature we thought that they would make good companions for humans, and so a few were placed under human care in human environments. We were upset to find that even though quimeras could grow used to human companions and their chaotic schedules; they still died after less than 5 years. Yet when on the island they were able to live for over 50 years. In fact some quimeras found during the first exploration are still alive. The reason for their deaths still remains unknown. Now, instead of allowing quimeras out of the island we're letting people into the island to interact with their foster quimeras.

Basic Quimera Information (**New Info)
-Young quimeras learn everything faster than adults.
-A quimeras tail has a mind of its own, they may attack a person against the main head's will.
-Not all tails are violent. Some like giving the quimera advice and spending the day lying on the quimera's back.
-Quimeras roar, mew and purr just like a cat (but louder). Their tails just hiss every now and then.
-Quimeras like feeding on fruit and white meat (this is mostly birds and fish), and sometimes a bug or two.
-A quimeras tail is not poisonous, tough a bite will sting for a while.
-A quimera's tail can't learn to speak, however the main head can still understand it just fine.
-Quimeras can't fly, they use their wings to either run faster or jump higher.
**-Quimeras make their own nests before laying eggs. Mostly inside caves or large hollow tree trunks.
-Eggs seem to hatch in around 1-2 weeks.
