Clearly Canadian
Welcome to Clearly Canadian's almost-month-long event celebrating my very favorite holiday, Halloween! Among several contests, the main event is trick-or-treating. But, since we're not able to reach through our computer monitors and grab actual candy, I came up with this version which hopefully should be almost as fun, and you won't get cavities from it!
How it works is that you post in this thread to trick-or-treat, but instead you yell out a word (ONE word please. If you post more that one word, I reserve the right to choose whichever of the words I feel like twisted ), then fill out the order form. There are four types of treats to choose from based on whether you want a growing or non-growing pet and the ability to breed or not. When the trade gets completed, you will receive your treat, which will magically transform into a Clearly Canadian pet on Halloween!
But wait a minute, back up that mushroom gravy train. What is the deal with posting a word? Well....whatever word you post is what I base the colors and markings on! For example, if you post the word "Quiddich" I might make your pet golden with wing-shaped markings, or I might make it some kind of blue and green with brown quiddich goalpost markings. Whatever strikes my fancy at the time. biggrin
Start Date:Sunday, October 9th at 11:59 pm PST
End Date:Sunday, October 30th at 11:59 pm PST
Pets will change sometime around 5 pm PST on October 31st.
Ye Olde Rules
~ Everyone may participate regardless of how many Clearly Canadian pets they own
~ People may buy treats for themselves or other users
~ There is no limit to the amount of orders someone can place for either themselves or someone else. (If this thread gets insanely busy I may limit the total number of pets, but I don't expect it to get much busier than I can handle).
~ All orders must be posted in the thread. NO PM'ING ORDERS!!! (The ONE exception is if you are ordering it for someone else and want it to be a surprise. IF ANYONE PMS A PERSONAL ORDER IT WILL BE DELETED)
~ Please send the trade right after you post the order form. If ordering more than one treat at a time, just add up all the treat prices and send one trade. If you decide to order more treats before I confirm the trade, just cancel your first trade and add the new order trade to your old one.
~ Please no begging/whining/guilt tripping if someone claims the word you want. Use a synonym! wink
