I'm going to recreate another thread and start over. Unfortunately, I have no idea where my colorists are. So Role Call! :B If you're one of my colorists, contact me. 3nodding I'll give you until mid-month June; then, I'll contact you. Make sure everything is ok. I'm also going to change the password to this account AND photobucket. It's not changed yet, so you're more than welcome to add pictures if need be.

Until I know where my colorists are, I can't update pets to their next level. >.o But, I do know I've promised a lot to those who need a pet growing. Check out the guild--and post--to see if you need an update.

Thread Rules
1. Don't steal my lineart. I bought it from soraxcloud: it's mine.
2. Don't bother the staff. Especially soraxcloud.
3. Don't ask for freebies. It's not going to happen.
4. Remember to include the words "Bounce or I'll blow your brains out! XD" during a flatsale in the form under "What you say?". The secret word(s) will change, but not during a flatsale.
5. These guys aren't RP-mandatory. There is a total of four stages for each element, but you can't get to the final stage without RP or lottsa gold. wink
6. Follow all of Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules and Guidlines. I'm not going to be responsible for your lack of literacy.
7. Don't PM me asking to be a colorist. If I need more, I'll open a seperate thread. And, no, you may not color your own. Ask these questions, and I'll ignore you. >.o

Flatsale Rules
1. Flatsales will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.
2. Fill out the ordering form in the flatsale post ONLY if there is a flatsale in progress.
3. I can't always edit the front page quick enough during a flatsale. Check the last few pages to see which ones are still available.
4. Send trade promptly.
5. Don't forget to read ALL rules.
6. Also, promptly send trades. If I don't receive your trade within the hour, your pet will be put back up for adoption.

These guys love flying! Isn't it obvious? They've got wings! Of course, stick some wings on an earth element and they'll curse you!

Getting the Air Master
When we've a few air elements, I'll post a quest. This quest can change at any given time, and on my whim.

If you don't want to rely on me and my silly unreliablity, you can "buy" the quest item if it's available in the flatsale post.

Specifics on the earth element.
Mmm! Nice, warm dirt. Nothing like feeling dirt run through your claws...Wait. Claws? Yup. Claws. Where the airs have wings, earths have claws.

Earths love dirt. In fact, if you adopt one, make sure you've got a sand box at home. (Ah, but please keep the kitties away from it. Believe me: your earth will thank you for it.)

Anyway, here's a growth chart for you so you know how big to buy that sand box.

Our first flatsale shall be earth-centric. Perhaps you and your earth shall be one of the first masters? Like the others, you'll need to complete a quest (through RP) or you can buy the quest item. I don't think there's any available, yet. :/

Specifics on the fire element.
The proud fire element. Some are quite vain. Careful, or you'll get burned. So will your house. And your neighbor's house. And his neighbor's house. And the cat that lives down the road.

Once you make a fire angry, they're angry for a long time. You could try giving them their favorite snack or toy (may I suggest an acre of forestland to burn?) and an entire day of pampering and apologizing. Here's a growth chart so that you'll be ready for him (or her).

Specifics on the water element.
Ah! The beautiful water. Unlike the fires, waters know they're beautiful and don't need you telling them otherwise. They'll just ignore you. When getting a water, make sure you've got a tank with 12 mirrors (13 is unlucky), shiney pebbles that match their eyes, several 'loyal' servants, and lots of jewelry. Here's a growth chart so you can properly accomedate this beautiful <strike>and very vain</strike> creature.

Many religions view the sacred lightning animal as a great big bird. Well, I found out that it's merely a small, furry dog...with horns. They're pretty loyal, too. Follow you to the ends of the earth. Just as long as you bring their favorite ball.

There's a couple of things to consider when wanting to create more elementals in the world. It's cheaper and more reliable to breed two Master Elementals versus breeding two adult or teenaged elementals regardless of their alignment or lineage. Masters tend to have more control over their elements.
Something else to consider is the elements you wish to combine. You cannot combine opposing elements. For example: a fire element with a water element cannot 'unf' even if both are Masters. It's taboo: simple as that. Although you may combine a fire element with any other. Depending on the lineage of both 'parents' will decide the children's element, but the other element can remain dormant for two generations. Keep that in mind when you're breeding.

Key Facts
--Elementals have no gender
--You can't mix two opposing elements
--Any element can breed once they reach the teen stage.
--Elementals don't mate for life. So, you can finally become what you've always wanted and pimp your elementals. ;-;
--You don't need to RP. If you don't want the pet to fall in love, that's ok. XD
--Just because mom and dad are master's, doesn't mean baby will have a better chance of becoming one.
--Once the babies are born, each parent gets one (1) baby each. If there's 1 owner, that owner gets 1 baby. The rest will be sold through flatsales and owner will get some of the profit. ^^

Teen breedings cost 6k per pair and usually yield 1-2 babies.
Adult breedings cost 4k per pair and usually yield 2-4 babies.
Masta' breeding cost 2k per pair and usually yield 3-4 babies.

Frequently asked questions.

Q: So, how do I get one?
A: Through flatsales, raffles, and auctions.

Q: How much are they?
A: During a flatsale: 3000g each. Auctions start out at 5000g and have an autobuy of 50,000g.

Q: Are these RP mandatory?
A: Nah. You don't have to RP, but you won't get to the final stage without paying for it. Check the specifics of each element to find out how to achieve this final stage.

Q: Yo, what's up with the weird tag?
A: Don't you like it? Makes me sad. Anyway, I'll explain what each things represents with the following example tag.

Point #1 is the pet. The words underneath should be self-explaintory: the colorist and lineartist respectively.
Point #2 is the shop name (Elementals) and the element of the pet. In this case, it's earth because this is an earth elemental.
Point #3 is the pet inforamtion. 'Name' is the pet's name; 'Owner' is the person who owns this pet; 'Purity' is how pure the pet is; the words under 'Purity' is customizable as well: It's what this pet likes to do.

Q: Ok, so I get most of that stuff, but what does this 'Purity' have to do with my pet?
A: It's for breeding, mainly. If your pet is 100% pure, it means that his parents and grandparents were all the same element. If it's less, it means that either his parents or his grandparents were a different element.

Q: How quickly do they age?
A: It will take 1-2 weeks for yur baby to grow to a teen. It'll take a teen 3-4 weeks to become an adult.
