Rules

1. The most important rule of all, do NOT under any circumstances PM any of the Donating Shops and ask about pets/when they might be donating to the Pound again/if ever. If I catch wind of you doing this you will be put on the black list immediately.
2. Do unto others as you'd wish them to do unto you. So be nice.
3. All Gaia TOS rules apply here.
4. No begging, bribing, or harassing the staff for pets.
5. Do not PM pseudo_fox to ask about the GAIA Pound - PM Poundkeeper, and only if it's necissary. Try reading all information in the FAQ before asking a question.
6. Do not steal any of the pets!
7. You can have as many pet shop pets as you want, but if other shops have rules as to how many pets you can have, then abide by them.
8. If you receive a donated pet in one flatsale, you are bared from the next flatsale from trying to get another donated pet. After that, you can try for one again.
9. You CANNOT re-sell ANY of the pets gained from the GAIA Pound.
10. If a doner shop decides that they wish to take one of their pets that you may have gotten from the GAIA Pound because you weren't following rules or standards, then they have every right to. You will not get a refund.
11. The GAIA Pound pets are not RP required, but we DO request that you visit the Pound often! You'll have to anyway, in order to see if your pet has grown.
12. Do not direct connect any images.
13. Staff of the GAIA Pound are NOT allowed to try to get one of the donated flatsale pets.

Penalties
1 - We'll warn you about the rules you've been breaking and ask you to correct your offensive actions.
2 - You will be put on the Gray List and be barred from the shop for a week. If pets are growing during the time you are on the gray list, you're pet will not be grown.
3 - You will be put on the Black List and forever banned from this shop. Any pets that you may have will be taken back and you will not receive any refunds.

OMG! I want one of the GAIA Pound pets, so bad!
Thank you, they are quite nice, arn't they? You'll have to wait for a flatsale, though.

But.. you're a charity! Can't you just give one to me?
Tsk, tsk. We're not a charity, we're a pet shop plain and simple. Just because we give gold from our earnings to other places doesn't mean we'll give you a free pet.

I don't have enough for one, though!
I'm really sorry, I'd really like to put you on a pay plan, but I've tried that before and I've only gotten burned for it.

Can I get one of the donated pets?
ONLY if you win it in a flatsale and can answer the questions I give you.

Why don't the GAIA Pound pets breed?
Like any good pound, we spay and neuter our animals.

Will they breed in the future?
Perhaps.

Why do Custom GAIA Pound pets cost more than the flatsale?
We have to make a little profit off of things that take time to do, don't we?

How hypocritical of you - you talk about pets only costing 1k back in the day but you're charging 3k for these?
I might be selling them for 3k, but if you'll see - the GAIA Pound, that's me and anyone else who I may have to pay for coloring - only get 600g dispence amongst itself, 1050g goes toward a charity, budding pet shop, or quest, and 1350g goes back toward the original pet donator.

Pet Doner FAQ
What type of image of the pet are you looking for (with or without cert)?
Either or, whichever you'd prefer. With the cert would be nice, but without it would make it easier to not steal. No matter what, be sure to write the words "Sample" across the pet so it can't be stolen while it's in the flatsale area.

After sold will I be in charge of the growing of the pet?
Yes, you will, as it is your shop's pet. Mainly, the GAIA Pound is just a way to distribute many different kind of pets all at once as well as produce gold to give to chairties and give the shops that donate to us a bit of publicity. Once the pet is sold, the person who's gotten it will shift from our care into yours and it's up to you to be sure they follow your rules and your ways.

Do you prefer to sell eggs or adults?
We like to sell the pets at their youngest stage, but we ARE a pound, so if you have any previously owned pets that were abused and were taken away from their past owner and want to resell them, we'll help you!
