Well hello there! Glad you have decided to pop in for a browse. I created this
walk in, vampire themed roleplay thread years ago and I am looking to get it moved into Barton
Town and out of the chatterbox. Not that there's anything wrong with the Chatterbox - do love you
random people out there, it's just this thread is better suited to roleplayers.

So. If you're here and you wish to roleplay, then that is great, post a starter and let me know if
you have any queries regarding the thread if they're not already answered in the FAQ's or Rules
section. Thankyou!

Posting Rules
- No Cybering
The explicit roleplay of sexual encounters is strictly forbidden. The posting of explicit and graphic
content, in written or visual forms, is a violation of the Terms of Service. For details on how far is
"too far", see the Gaia-Appropriate Content in Detail post.

- No Explicit Roleplay Encouragement
Users often post rules regarding inappropriate content within their own roleplays. Using ratings
like "PG-13" is fine, but directing users to "take cybering to PMs", or using ratings such as
"Rated R" which clearly indicate adult themes, is not permitted. In all cases, the Gaia Terms of
Service and forum rules override individual roleplay rules.

- No Abusive Comments
This includes abusive comments to other users, flaming, trolling, harassment and stalking. You
are allowed to swear on Gaia, but you are not allowed to insult other users, go into their thread
without permission and start trouble, or refuse to leave after the creator has asked you to.

- No Advertising
Advertising in this forum is not allowed; you may not create a new thread with the intention of
advertising, or post in existing threads purely to advertise your own content. If you wish to
advertise a roleplay please see the Barton OOC forum. Please note that although you may also
roleplay offsite, offsite advertisements are not permitted at all in the roleplaying forums.

- No Hate Based Roleplays
Hate roleplays that are negatively directed towards a Gaia user, race, ethnicity or sexual
orientation are not allowed on Gaia. These roleplays that are found will be removed and the
owner punished.

- No "Copycat" roleplays
Just like art theft is not allowed, copying another person's work for a roleplay is also not
permitted as it infringes copyright. If you want to use another person's writing for your roleplay,
word for word or only slightly changed, you must get permission and credit them or else you will
face the same serious consequences that art theft does on Gaia Online.

Failure to abide by these rules will result in being reported
IMMEDIATELY. Yes, that means you. Don't do it.

If you see anyone breaking these rules, you must contact me at once. Give me their name and
give me a page reference so I can easily see them and private message them, rather than me
searching through endless pages.

Try to answer people's starters rather than just posting your own starter... this way we
have actual threads of roleplay going rather than just a million starters!
Read back a page or two to see if there are any starters you like and quote them!

No you certainly don't. Just come in and post a start of a roleplay. However try and introduce
yourself with a picture or description, just to capture the minds of those roleplaying around you.

What happens if I see someone breaking a rule?
Pm me at once. You must tell me their name and the page reference, therefore I can easily solve
the problem.

Do I have to be a vampire?
No you don't. You can be any race you want. The basis for this thread is vampire females and
mortal males... and I'd prefer it if the majority was this.. but yeah.. if you want to be something
else.. be my guest.

If there are any more questions you wish to ask, or if you feel I missed a bit
which you're like in more detail, just pm me and I'll tell you, plus putting it up on the FAQ's for
everyone else to know!
