Welcome, I'm MouMou and I've decided to do some art freebies for all those art lovers out there. I've been a member of the Art Freebie Land Guild a while and find freebies quite fun to do. These freebies I'll mostly do as warmups before I start drawing or when I only have 10 mins to draw but still feel like drawing. Headshots sketches is what I will be offering mostly, but if you hang around and entertain me I might get inspired to do more advanced pieces for you.

I am accepting freebie requests and art trades (please show sample).

I am also looking for art of my OC!

As I said before you'll probably mostly get headshots, either digital or pencil. Like pencil more though, so be prepared to see more of them.

I love getting comments and critique, so if you have some time and will please help me become a better artist <3 Also I'm not easily offended or scared of getting even rough comments, so don't be scared to tell me exactly what you think about some piece I've put up in my albums. There is a limit though, don't be rude (that would be called flaming), you can put even negative comments in a non-rude way.

How do I request art?

Please fill out this form:

Name: Your Gaia username, put it in bold if you want me to write your name in the picture I draw for you.
Reference: Either a picture of your avatar or the OC you want me to draw.
Color: The color you want your sketch in, very simple.
Other: As in things to inspire me to choose your request (read further for more info). And if you post images, post LINKS to the images!

You will have a higher possibility to get a picture drawn of you if you in the 'other' slot put something to inspire me. You can inspire me with a picture you find pretty, an artist you like, a song you like, a mangaka/manga/anime you like. These kinds of things also give me a hint of the kind of pictures you like, so you run a better chance of getting a picture in the style you love the most. Please remember to put all the inspirational things in link form, don't stretch the pages with big images and don't just say a nice artists Gaia username, I'd much rather have a link to the artist's gallery ^^

Staying in the thread and chatting with me of course also increases your chance of getting art and even more so art that isn't just a headshot.

Shortly said, putting a little effort into your application will greatly increase your chances of getting a slot. I put effort into the pieces I create for you, so I think it's not too much to ask from you to do a little more than just type down the neccessary facts in the application form.

Mou wants art too!

My request thread!

The general idea with my OC is that you can draw her in any outfit as you like, with any accessories that you want to, in any situation you feel like drawing her in. The only thing you need to stick to is her bright green eyes and long black hair (which you also can experiment with). Just look at it as if you would be drawing Yumi in another life, if you think that makes it easier.

A few facts about Yumi:
- her most common expression would be grinning
- she does not wear just t-shirts and jeans (be creative!)
- she does know martial arts
- she is flexible
- if she would choose a weapon she would choose a katana
- she is impulsive

Drawing her in an outfit that has already been done on her is just boring, please, don't do that. Use your imagination, experiment, copy some completely other outfit if you have to.

For inspiration you can of course look at the other pictures of Yumi I have, in the Mou-Mou photobucket account. Then you can check out my favorite artists on DA, satougaki (those huge doodle sheets do wonders), loish (her outfits are super cute) and klar (nice style!).
