Greetings to one and all, you lucky viewers of this page. I'm the Goddess WinterTwylight, and as the rest of ye are people I probably watch over- you will give me art! domokun Seriously though, this is my spiffy art contest, with some pretty good prizes, and a few interesting categories. Hm. As I'm not sure what else to say, lets move rapidly along, shall we?

STUFF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW BUT HAVE TO ANYWAYS:

These are, like...semi rules. More guidelines really, savvy? Things you should know- general info and all that rot. So here goes.

Firstly there are various prizes. THERE IS A PRIZE FOR THE PERSON WHO BUMPS THE MOST! Some that you may think crappy, others that are pretty decent, and unless you bid for one, can't get. Such as the White Olympic T-shirt, and the Penguin Slippers. (Muchly Kawaii.) Also two Oct. 2004 Letters, and a Jan. 2005 letter. Honourable mention will be reciving 7k in gold. First place prize will be the slippers. I'll list everything in a post below, so its all organized for your reading.

Secondly, just cause I say there's an Honourable Mention- don't do your crappiest at your artwork. I know there are a lot of BEAUTIFUL artists out there, and I want to see beautiful art damnit. *Stomps her foot.* So be sure to put your effort into it. ^_^

This is almost an anything goes contest, but as always, there are rules. The main thing is to do your best and just have fun- let your imagination go.

The Contest Starts Today, August 13th at 6:00 PM Pacific time, and will end January 24th, 2006 at exactly 12:00 midnight Pacific time, where on January 25th, I will make my decisions and hold an awards ceremony for the winners at 8:00 PM pacific time.

I need 50 entries to complete this contest, so I have a varity to judge off of. If this does not happen, then the deadline will possibly be extended- but I should think 5 months is plenty time. It isn't required that you're in the thread if you win, as you will be acknowledged anyhow, but it'd be nice if you were there.

A one month period will be held for those who don't pick up their prizes. If I am not contacted by then? Your loss.

11/27/05: Another impressive rendition of..well..moi, by the Artist Formally Known as Meghan. I really love the many different shades of purple within the hair, and the background is simple, that it brings your direct attention to...well..me. ~*Snickers*~ Thank you, dear! heart

1.) First and most important rule...READ ALL OF THE RULES!! It isn't that hard and there isn't that many of them.

2.) No bases, no dolls, no COPYING! I enjoy originallity! So do your own thing.

3.) All art submitted for the contest will be used for this contest alone. That means- Mine! : domokun :

4.) 50 entries ARE require in order for Judgement Day to come. Please please please send in your art.

5.) Don't. Be. Dumb. For instance- there will be NO put downs. Everyone's art is everyone's art. Whether you think its good or not. I won't have any harsh words amongst artists about how much the other's work sucks, and who's better, ect. ect. None of it! Any of this happens you are automatically banned from the Contest and the Thread.

6.) Lets see...what else..? Oh! Entries can be from G up to PG-13. But I don't want anything raunchy. Classic kinda sexy. Prudeish. Tasteful, is the word I'm looking for. Lets keep it to Gaia Guidelines, eh people?

7.) All decisions I make in the Contest, much less in the Thread ARE FINAL. No buts about it. So rule number 7, NO WHINING.

8.) There's seriously no need to PM me. So don't. Unless I give you permission. I'm a Goddess- I'm busy, we'll leave it at that.

9.) In terms of bumping, there will be no talking about random things in my thread, damnit. Only bumping, or any questions one may have.

Umm. What am I drawing?:

You have many choices. You can either draw the avatars- Griffinith and Twylight, Twylight, Griffinith, or the players- Andrew and Hannah, Hannah, or Andrew. Mix and match- put all four of them together- do what you will, but have fun doing it.

1.) Can I Do a Hentai, Yaoi, or Yuri Picture?: No.

2.) How Many Entries Am I Allowed To Put In?: As many as you'd like, silly.

3.) OMG lyk wow, are u and Andrew a couple?:[sarcasm] No. I just feature him in this contest and it says Griffinith and Twylight Forever in my signature cause I like to pretend.[/sarcasm]

4.) What kinds of media may I use?: Pretty much anything. Pen, pencil, Paint, Photoshop- let your imagination go! Be creative. Only thing to make sure of is that its able to be scanned on the computer and posted.

5.) Anything I can..uh..do..to uh, score points with you? *Wiggles eyebrows*: Yes. Anyone who draws Andrew and Hannah with Twylight and Griffinith showing as their shadow, sort of, totally scores points.

6.) So...what's the catch?: What catch, you dork? Its free to enter- all I'm bloody well asking for is artwork. Sheesh.

7.) So...there's no catch..?: NO!

8.) If I don't win will I still get a prize? : I don't make pie-crust promises, my dears. As a Goddess, my resources are limited. We'll see.

9.) How many times can I win? : Only once, sugar. There are artists other than you, ya know.

10.) Any particular art ya fancy?: Yes. I enjoy anime a lot (who doesn't?) And also black and white art. I'm not a very picky woman. As I've said before- just be creative.

11.) Wanna see my progress as I go?: Not really. This is an Art Contest- ..not a critique. Final pieces only please!

12.) Can there be writing on the picture? Ya know- lyrics, poetry or all that?: Um..hm. Well while I kind of like that myself, I'd really rather prefer you didn't.

13.) Just cause you're a Goddess doesn't mean you're better than me- you know that right?: Wrong.

Twylight

Nicknames: Twy, Winter
Age:Its rude to ask a womans age. wink Looks to be around 24.
Height:5 ft. 8 in.
Weight: Roughly 173.
Hair: Blueviolet.
Eye Colour: Emerald Green.
Ethnicity:Caucasian.
Appearance: She is tall, for a woman, and near as pallid as the moonlight. Her features oft take on heavenly quatlities, espectially her clothing, a warm glow usually around her. Her face is strikingly pretty, and her body would be mostly plain if it weren't for her curves and her lengthy fingernails. She finds the best thing about her to be her smile, and her eyes often reveal what she is thinking, or get the point across by way of look. She has a set of butterfly wings which oft lie cloaked around her, when not in use in the air.

Personality: As a Goddess, Twylight is a kind soul, always watching over her charges. She is rather compassionate, and would be more than happy to go out of the way for her friends and family- as far as to die for them. (Yes. Goddesses can die out.) When angry however, she is quite the force to be reckoned with. You mess with her, and you're probably going to wind up 6 feet down. Only few things peeve her however, so there's only a 50/50 risk involved in irritating her. Other times, Twylight is observant, peaceful in her ways as she watches to make sure everything is going right.

Abilites: WinterTwylight is the Goddess of the Weather, and a Lesser Goddess of Protection. She can do things, such as change the Weather to her liking, which means she has skilled mastery in the elements of wind and water. The only problem, however, is that she only has control of her powers at the start of the setting sun- you guessed it- Twylight. Then her powers are at their fullest, but come sunrise, she can only perform basic miracles such as healing, and her usual flying.

Facts: Twylight often sits atop a cloud and gets around that way. She is also married to Griffinith. Twylight's favourite colours are purple, white and silver.

Griffinith

Nicknames:Griff, Griffy.
Age:Goddess only knows. Appears to be around 25 or so.
Height: 6 ft. 3 in.
Weight: 225
Hair:Forest green.
Eye Colour: Emerald green.
Ethinicity:Caucasian.
Appearance: Griffinith stands tall and stately, slightly muscular and fair in complexion. As half-Griffin, Half-human, in place of feet he has lion's paws, and a lengthy lion's tail. The wings upon his back, are that of an Eagle's- proud, feathery and white with brown tones. He prefers to remain mysterious, usually wearing a cloak, with a hood over his head when in full Griffin form around the towns.

Personality: Griffinith is a bit of a traveler- curious, adventurous, and at the same time, lonely. Seperated from his Griffin family long ago, he still searches for them- so there is always a sense of longing that seems to hang about him. He is oft quiet and respectful, observant in nature, with a bit of a sarcastic sense of humour. When it comes down to it, Griffinith is very loving, and cares for those around him, especially Mother nature herself.

Abilites: Griffinith is in truth, a Griffin with the ability given to him to take half-human or completely human form. He usually remains in half-human state. He is a rune-crafter, able to imbed spells into the runes which he carves. However his power and the rune itself needs recharging after so many uses, or else the rune can explode and his power can drain. Some of these runes give him the ability to shield himself, write amongst the stars, and healing.

Height: 5 ft. 8 in.
Eye Colour: Brown. Light brown.
Hair Colour: Black
Ethenicity: Scot-English/Spanish
Appearance: For being overweight, Hannah carries her weight well, as because of her height. She wears mostly black, jeans, t-shirts, skirts that reach to her ankle. Most of her t-shirts are band t-shirts, and her jeans are either light blue or dark blue, ripped around the knees and on the thighs. Her hair used to be long and is now a semi-short length, enough to spike it up, with bangs in front that fall about to her chin. Her skin is fair- a light beige in hue, and her fingernails are a good length- painted black.

Personality: Hannah is a nut. She is a lot like Twylight where that she cares greatly for her family and friends, and would go so far as to die for them, but as that is the calm of the storm, she can easily turn into a raging b***h. She enjoys arguing and has a rather racy sense of humour- always telling one politically incorrect joke or another to make her friends laugh. She is a bit of a rocker, due to her father being a muscian, and the belief that rock n' roll flows in the blood of her veins.

Facts:Hannah's favourite colours are black, and any shade of purple. Her favourite bands of all time are Queen and AC/DC. She plays flute, wears glasses and is engaged to Andrew. She also eats Emo kids and preps for breakfast, and greatly dislikes country. Her motto is: Emo is like country, without the *twang*.

Height: 6 ft. 0 in.
Hair Colour:Sandy blonde
Eye Colour:Blue-green
Ethinicity: French-English/Polish
Appearance: Andrew, Much like Griffinith, is tall and skinny, but well built with leg-strength, as he bikes to work everyday, and upper body strength from lifting stuff at work. He wears whatever feels comfortable- mainly t-shirts and cargo pants in colours like khaki, white, black, brown. His favourite item to wear is his crimson fleece jacket, his pullover, with a hood. His lengthy hair is often pulled back in a ponytail when it isn't down, and a goatee lingers on his chin- Hannah often calls him Shaggy.

Personality: Andrew is a very giving soul, with endless compassion for those he cares about. Patience is one of his key attributes and he rarely shows his temper- unless its towards the video game he has trouble with. He is a hard-worker and truly a man of honesty.

Facts: Andrew is a fan of techno- anything with a good beat really, and is a computer genius. Favourite comedic artists include Lewis Black, Denis Leary, and Dimitri Martin. One of his favourite colours is dark green, his favourite group is the Solar Twins, and his first word was "tittie."
