Introduction

Firstly, I'd like to welcome all of you fishers, both new and old, to this month's junk thread. The purpose of this thread is to keep tally of junk scores and see placements, since Gaia does not provide an official junk scoreboard. Now, down to business....

How to Report

idea After the reset (scoreboards are set back to 0), copy and paste this line from your personal fishing stats before you fish any games.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

It will appear like this after copying and pasting:

Report

Big Old Tire
Caught: 7076
Old Boot
Caught: 7228
Old Can
Caught: 7457

This is a total of junk caught every month, not just this month.

From then on out, just copy and paste that line when you want to report.

idea Users may also keep track on their own and periodically post their junk total.

Disclaimer

I, as the owner of the junk scoreboard, do not claim that it is entirely accurate. The board is a means to see your progress and rank yourself against other people who report. I cannot guarantee that every serious junker will report.

Reporters are allowed to round their junk totals down or "lag" their reports to maintain some method of surprise. If you choose not to report, it would be nice for you to drop in to let us know you will be junking. At the end of the month an actual junk estimate would be appreciated.

Also note that I run the board using junk totals, not actual scores. Just because one person may appear to have a higher ranking does not mean that they actually do. For example, one person may have 10 junk (all cans) and another have 8 junk (all tires). The first would have an actual score of 20, while the second would rank higher with a score of 48. On this board however, person A would dominate because they have more junk.

Please keep these things in mind while junking and planning your reports.

If you're thinking about it, make sure you copy that line after the scoreboards reset. Otherwise I'll have to use guesswork to figure out how much you catch. 3nodding

Without the scoreboard, I would have to say around 6,000 - 8,000 junk.

Last month anyone within that range was able to get a bronze. Silver was about 10 - 15K junk. Gold is 20K and up.

Can people just tell you how much junk they have instead? because I record mine on paper.
