Because I'm running this charity "outta my garage."

Well, I'm moving the charity to a guild. The guild can be reached from my or CPMForceobsessor's signature. (Yes, it's being hosted by the Eiffel 65 and/or Roller Coasters guild. Clicking on CPMForce's siggy will take you to the right place.) If the guild thing doesn't work out, I'll come back here. I will go ahead and go through the waiting list and all unaddressed people up to this point, but after this post and maybe another page or so as it sinks in, I'll be redirecting people to the guild and trying to work solely from there. I'll need to see if I can get the charity link list person to update their link....

Yes, I run this charity out of my garage. I don't have a big, fancy department store, it's just me, myself, and I, and maybe a table or lemonade stand-ish thing.

I know there are many who don't like to donate to new members. Well, that's where I come in.

I am here to donate between 10 and 200 gold to newbies. I only donate to newbies, to help them get started. I am not here to help someone who has been here for a year and a half get a halo.

Oni kawaii the raver is the official thread bumper. As far as I know, he's only bumping, not helping with donations, so don't pester him. Oni is also doing free signature banners for new members (If you're eligible for this charity, this means you.). PM him if you want to request one from him.

[ii d i o t a c y]], also known as [] Glamour [], is also helping me with ideas and advertising. I think.

Please read the rules before posting a request. Bumpers don't have to read the rules.

1. You post in here requesting a donation. Something like this:
Hi, I'm (whoever you are), and I would like a donation.

2. I might respond to you in this thread, but I will then PM you "My Obligatory PM."

3. You respond to the PM (so I know you're still there and not a one-time user), and then I send the donation. I will decide at this time how much gold I want to give. The more impressed by your request I am, the more you're likely to get.

3. We complete the trade, and that's that. I'll put your name on the list of people I've helped.

4. If you post in here and a week passes with no word from me, PM me, but otherwise, no PM's please.

1. I only help newbies. (not to be confused with n00bs) For the purposes of this thread, I will consider a newbie to be someone who has been on Gaia for three weeks or less.

2. I would prefer not to give to mules, though I know I have no way of telling them apart from others. Please, only one account per person.

3. No more than 1 donation per person shall be given per three days, but after two more days have pased, you may request another donation (you get the donation on day 1, days 2 and 3 pass, on day 4 you may request another donation). Maximum gold per person (total of all donations the person recieves from me) is 500.

-If you request another donation too soon, I will ignore your request and make you wait an extra day.
-You may request an amount(as long as it's under 200), but that doesn't mean you will get that much.

4. It's somewhat biased, I know, but requests posted in this thread must be at least somewhat literate. If I can't read it, I'm not donating to you. May seem rude, but hey, the gold is coming out of my pocket. No one's giving it to me to give out. I am not rich at all. You might have more gold than I do. I could just keep it. I'm questing on another account, and I'd be glad to use it there. Please, to show me you read these rules, include the word "phytohydra" in your post.

Note:
As a tip, I thought I'd say this. You are more likely to get more gold if these things are true:
1. You say the magic word.
2. You type literately. By "literately," I mean that I is capitalized, sentences have ending punctuation, there are commas where necessary, and if I see a number, it bettre represent a number, not a word

Being as these two things are in the rules anyway, people who do not do one or both of these things automatically get less.

KittyShampoO - I would also like to thank you for starting up a charity for newbies like me. It seems that Gaia users who have used this site forever strongly dislike newbies (but for you, that's not the case), so it's kind of hard for us to make friends.

d i o t a c y]] - It's not often you see someone likes this, the usual giveaways are 'first poster on page x gets a certain item', and the donations are either too strict, or full of people asking 'PLEEEEEEEEEZZZ!!11', which I dislike very, very much..
But yours is well established, and thought out nicely. I like it.

Ok, so the clothing thing kinda....died....
But there is news! I'm saving up for a guild, and once I do that, I will move this charity in there. Once there, I'll still be giving gold away for basically nothing, and clothing/item donations will consist of whatever people have donated to the charity.
