Hello and welcome to Sunnybank Kennels!

This is no ordinary breedables shop. This shop is a game, and one I hope you all will enjoy! You play the part as a breeder, kennel owner (yes, kennels will be made for dog owners), and citizen in the world of Sunnybank Village! There are many breeds of dogs in Sunnybank. Each breed has three stages and completely origional lineart that fits the breed. In this shop you can actually make gold! Breeding raises the stats of puppy by mixing the points of the mother and father dog. This can make your pups worth more or less gold, depending on your breeding savvy and stud/dam choices. With better pups, the better chance they will have at winning show dog competitions, in which you can win a large sum of gold, customs, and yes, origional Sunnybank Kennels TROPHIES!! These pets are very light RP required. Basically, all I ask of you is to stop by and RP or chat every once and a while. I won't go to drastic measures if you don't, I just prefer it this way. So, come on in and make yourself at home. Everyone is friendly here. Find a loyal companion and become champions! Make gold, trophies, customize kennels, and more! Comments and suggestions welcome.

1/28/06 - The shop is currently debating whether or not to continue after the last of the updates! Please help us stay alive by bumping and roleplaying! The more active the owners, the better the chance we'll continue! If we do continue we have LOTS of fun things planned!

12/19/05 - The staff are currently focusing on finishing every single growth and as a special bonus stats of the grown dogs are raising to say "thanks for waiting!". We have plenty of ideas for the shop, including a special rp thread with plotlines as well as starting a few shows, equipable items and much more, but we need your help to keep the thread active! There will most likely be an auction this month for rare dogs and a flatsale next month with the newer breeds!
11/14/05 - Quite a few new tagged pups & growths can be found on page 135! Also keep an eye out for the only-new-breed flatsale on the 18thand the Dog Show/Event on the 25th! Special thanks will be given to everyone who participates! Items also increase the stats to your dogs! Prepare them for shows!
11/5/05 - The Halloween Auction was a success! Everyone who posted quite a bit, expect your prizes soon! This month we won't be holding an auction, but there will be an only-new-breed flatsale on the 18th! As well as a Dog Show/Event on the 25th! Everyone who shows their support will be rewarded!
10/27/05 - HALLOWEEN AUCTION OPEN! Please check it out! Very rare dogs, including a mummy, bat, hellhound and Frankenstein! No specific bumping prizes, but special prizes will be available to anyone who helps out with the auction (for example, raised stats, special items?)
10/17/05 - The auction went horrible and has been cancelled altogether! The two bumping prizes will still be available however. Keep your eye out for the VERY SPECIAL Halloween auction that will arrive shortly. Also, in November there will be a custom auction and another flatsale!!
10/13/05 - Two special Auctions will be held this month and the first (cat themed) will begin tommorow! Oddly patterned dogs are very rare so these won't be around too often! ALSO, if your dog has not been listed in the links of dogs and such, please notify someone!
10/6/05 - More pups have been tagged and this month there will be two very special auctions! Keep your eyes out around the 10th, as well as around the 20th for a Halloween auction for very rare dogs! There are also still about 5 more pups available for adoption! New breeds!
9/27/05 - THERE will be a FLATSALE this saturday! So, there will be oodles of new cute puppies to take home.
9/20/05 Cinnamon, Blaze, and Winston have grown! Get yer doggies!!
9/13/05 - 3 more kennels have been added! Newest at the bottom! Please forgive the long wait and if you are still awaiting a newly tagged pup, please PM the colorist! Things are nearly back to normal and there should be another flatsale with new pups (huskies, aussies, etc)! Keep your eyes pealed!
9/1/05 - The certing issue is currently being fixed. We have certs now, so the uncerted puppies and growings and coming. Look for them in the cert pick-up. The under-sized certed puppies will either be grown and have normal sized certs, or will get them in their newborn stage. As many of you can see, we need more dog show entrants, so the dog shows have been post-poned until a further date. On another note, both of our latest auctions have been successful. The Multi-Shop auction was HB on the ending date for 150k. The Beagle auction brought in 15k to the shop.
8/31/05 - The tagging problem should have been cleared up. Each colorist will now tag his/her own puppies, so if there are any problems, please contact the colorist on the tag of your puppy! Kieko got a few done tonight, but more should be expected this weekend. If you have a delayed growth, please message your colorist. They should be glad to help you out. Most likely they have just forgotten to post the growing as many of them are/should be done.
8/12/05- There has been some certing issues. I am so, so sorry about this, for those of you who have not recieved their certed pups or own a pup with a small cert. Our certist has gone on hiatus, and so she has passed the torch to Kieko, whom has not recieved the certs yet. We are also expiriencing some photobucket problems. Please bare with us while we try to get this all fixed.

7/18/05 - Our last Auction for the month before our second & last flatsale of the month will be started TODAY! Today's auction is for a Custom Puppy!
7/17/05 - Our first auction (for twin collie puppies) has just finished today with the autobid of 70k from Aluetian! The growings should be happening very soon, in a matter of 1-2 more days and we plan on having another auction (a CUSTOM auction) tommorow!
7/12/05 - All of the first flatsale puppies have been sold!
7/11/05 - I am off to Mexico! I will be back on Thursday. Until then, Mimiru_13 is in charge.

1. Do not claim artwork here as your own unles it's true. And likely, the only person to do so will be feralchicken.
2. Stealing will get you branded a permanent blacklisty.
3. I hate it when people just trot into my shops, act like they rule the world, and start bossing people around, swearing, and just plain being disrespectful. If I catch you even close to doing so ... blacklist.
4. Cheating/rigging contests and dog shows is not right. If you do so, well, I'll bet you know what will happen, eh?
5. No begging or whining.
6. You must direct-link your dog until it has reached the third and final stage.
7. Do not edit the certs or artwork AT ALL unless you have my permission! Which will likely never happen, unless you want to put a pet into a sig map or are making me a banner.
8. You may not just poof after you've purchased a pup here. Stick around for a little while, we won't bite.
9. If a RP is in progress, you must talk OOC in parenthesis. For example: ((I like tuna fish.))
10. I hate having to make this a rule, but chat speak annoys me so. Saying things like brb and ttyl are fine. Saying ?yoz hey iz luv yor shop itz rockn!!!!!1!?, might make me have a heart attack. Just don?t do it, please.
11. Do not harass or flame anyone kind enough to visit this shop. If you have to fight, take it somewhere else.

Interested in a pup?...

You've seen the shop and now you're probably wondering "How do I get a puppy?" Flatsales are 4k each newborn. The price may rise in the future, so get them while they're still pretty cheap!

A flatsale will take place when the word "GO!" is posted in large, red letters. If you want a pup during a flatsale, you should post "I want -pups name here-!". Say the pre-name; the pre-name is a selected name given to the dogs by their colorists. If you are planning to buy a dog, you can change it's name to anything you want. After your request is accepted edit your post to have the adoption form and send the account "SunnybankKennels" the 4k as soon as possible!

Is there a flatsale going on? Not at the moment, but in January!
How about Raffles? Nope. Sorry.
What about an auction? There will be a special winter auction this month!

Dooog shows!! weeeee!! Oh, no, wait ... *lifts head up and points nose out in a proper fashion* Ahem, dog shows are nessesary if you wish to raise your dog's show points. If you win a show, you will recieve a certain amount of points. Once you get 10 points, your dog is considered a champion! If your dog becomes a champion, the show name will change. For example, a show name like "Storybook's Nursury Rhyme" becomes "CH Storybook's Nursury Rhyme". It is a great honor to own a champion. And, hey, if you sell a champion that is graded "godly" ... 0_0 you might just make some cash. A dog like that is worth a bit. But, of course, it is better to keep going, raising the show points of your dogs and breeding to help raise birth stats. And keeping it. Anyways, dog stats can be from 1-15 (15 being very rare to get). Dogs are judged by their stats. No, I do not mean that the judges just count up the stats and choose the dog with the highest number. We judges choose stats for what apeals to our eyes. Now, a collie with medium points and a few high points might look pretty good. But, uh oh, look at those aweful feet! And that aweful gait. That could prove to be a deadly source during judging. In other words, if a dog was half and half (godly and uh-oh) it wouldn't look so good, because their are still serious flaws. A medium dog would look better in the judges eyes than that. So you want to breed dogs that are either good or medium. A small flaw won't hurt. But a few will. So be careful when breeding, and remember to have fun! Hey, this isn't a closing sentence, is it? And, why, this is the show section. But, hey, can you blame me? I mean, breeding and shows are pretty much ... very close (in the same importance). Anyways, now, there are many prizes here at SK, including gold, trophies, customs, discounts, and show points. These are SK's shows and their prizes :

To enter a show, you MUST post at this very thread and tell us that you are entering, and what show. After that, you send a trade to feralchicken with the correct amount of gold and the name of the show that you are entering as the title. Also, it is okay to enter your puppy in a show in advance, as long as it will likely become an adult before the show takes place (a puppy can stay in it's form for 2-5 days). Entering dog shows pay for our monthly new breed. So join in and help us reach a million breeds! Only purebreed dogs may enter the point shows, just so you know. OKAY ... now onto the winners ... hey, you don't just get up and leave after winning a dog show, do you? No, you go to the championships. Winners of point dog shows can enter the "Tournament of Champions" (3k admission). The winner of this show will recieve : a golden, origional SK championship trophy, 3 show points, a 50% discount on next FS purchase, and a custom puppy. The runner-up winner of this show will recieve a 30% (1/3) discount on next FS purchase. So. Wow. Hey, have fun!

Items now increase the stats of your dog! ROLEPLAYING IS REQUIRED!

Want to train your dog to increase his/her chances in a show? Want to make sure it has the best quality pups? Well here's your chance! The items available will each raise a certain stat to your dog. After purchasing an item, you will be required to write a single rp post in the thread. It doesn't have to be anything too fancy, just your character training your dog. The prices may seem somewhat crazy, but training is tough work and requires actual attention towards the dog.

No item can increase Forequarter, Hindquarter & Head, as the dogs are born with certain size body parts!

FOOD/TREATS

Treats can help add +1 to all of the stats, depending on the training.
Treats are 300 gold each.

GROOMING

Not only do these items add +1 to coat, but they can also add and additional +1 to temperment as well! Afterall, the dog has to deal with it's owner washing & brushing it.

GROWTH SYRUMS

Want your newborn to become a puppy? Want your puppy to become an adult? Your in the right place! If you buy two syrums for one newborn, you can choose for it to skip it's second stage and go right on to being an adult. Post here to order and send a trade to SunnybankKennels afterwards. The puppy will grow as soon as possible. Remember, the colorist will have to color the next stage as well as cert it, so it may take a day or two.
Serums are 1k each.

Breeding ; known as a significantly recommended process for all those who wish to be an active part of Sunnybank Kennels. Breeding is encouraged, because without breeding, where would dog shows be? To raise the quality of show dogs, breeding is required. The traits of the parents will be mixed and given to the pups. Parents with high standard show points will have pups with show points that could be higher or only a bit lower than the parents. It all depends. However, the higher the show points, the higher the chance of having high quality pups.

Breeding has been changed slightly to hopefully encourage more breeding!

4k - Breeders Fee (1-2 pups)
6k - Family Fee (2-3 pups)
8k - Farm Fee (3-4 pups)
10k - Keepers Fee (4-6 pups)
20k - A Keepers Fee with an additional injection given to the female dog to increase the chances of very rare traits, which could in turn lead to rare characteristics, colorations and/or species. Yes. With this special injection, a border collie may give birth to a lab!

If you do not own both parents, we suggest that you either randomely split the pups between the two owners, or do Stud/Dam services in your kennels. Please also keep in mind that only two pups can be kept by each owner per litter. All additional pups must be auctioned and 50% of the profits returns to the shop. With large litters (especially of rare pups!) quite an amount of gold can be earned!

Welcome to Sunnybank Village, home to the many dog lovers of the Gaia world. Here you can RP as a dog owner or a dog. RP is required in Sunnybank, but it is not nearly as intense as most RP breedables. In fact, if you really have problems with RP, you can just chat and hang out here normally instead. I won't do anything like take your pet away if you refuse to do so. I am nice. Still, it is incouraged that you RP. Benefits do come to RP members, such as discounts, fast growings, and breedings. So join in!

Current RP location : We finally have a guild! SO ... you can RP there, or you can RP here, in the shop. ^^

Q: Do you do pet trades?
A: Yes, but only on rare occasions. (this does not include GHS, for if someone offered me a GHS, I would treat them to a million customs and bow before them like a god)

Q: Do you accept customs?
A: Yes, but usually only during a custom auction. Customs still must have realistic coloration (to a point).

Q: I've noticed how realistic your shop seems to be. Can the dogs interact between one another?
A: Yes, they can "talk" to each other, but not to Gaians.

Q: How many dog shows can my pet enter at once?
A: As many as you want! There is no limit!

Q: What happened to my pup? It hasn't been updated/tagged/fixed/etc
To be honest we've went through so much. Many many colorists have disappeared, as well as our tagger so we're hoping to get everything together. If you have ANY complaints, please post them in the shop and we'll get back to you!

(I am drawing a blank at questions people would ask. Please spare me and ask a few random questions?)
