Starting the game
In the begining of the game you have to sign up and pay for it but it's worth it. First of you get to pick your archetypes from a blaster,a scrapper,a tank, a controller, a defender and two secret ones called a peacebringer and a wraith. Then you choose how you got your powers by magic, technology, mutantion, science or,natural. The best thing is making your own costume. You can choose your own color and how your super's costume looks.

Archetypes
All the archetypes have their own speical powers and skills. Here are some of the powers.
Blaster
Blaster's are long ranged full offensive archetypes they are great in far distance battles. In a team you would need a blaster to pull. Pull is a term that means lure an enemy away from the group and to the team to kill him off.
Blasters use munipulations of the elements. There is fire muniplation, ice, energy, lightning. This is odd but they can also use an assault rifle. Here is some of there powers: power blast: a long ranged attack that is powerful but regarges slowly... can be upgraded to snipe later on in the game. Punch: punch is depended on your munipulation like there ice punch ,fire punch, lightning puch and, energy
punch.

Scrapper

Scrappers are a fist fighting, in your face hero. They have all close-range attacks, and no long range like the blasters. They are a main force for any super hero team. Ferocity and Skill are what a Scrapper builds off of. They have medium hit points and a high damage ratio. They only use Melee attacks and Defensive ones. They have mainly use weapons and their fists, there primary abilities are Claws, Martial Arts, Katana, Broad Sword, Shadow Fighting, and Quills/Spines. Claws, Katana, Broad Sword are all with weapons, while Martial Arts, Shadow Fighting and Quills/spines are with their bodies. Thier secondary moves are all defensive, Shadow Armor, Super Reflexes, Invulnerability, and Regeneration. They are one of two that are the work force of the team.

Villians
In the game there are many different villians, they differ from place to place. From Atlas Gate, to the Hollows, to King's Row, they have different villians.

The Rikti-A dimensional army, they have tried again and again to take over the city, but keep failing. They are found all over the City of Paragon.

The Lost- People that did not benefit from the uprise of Soup Kitchens and Affordable houses from the Heroes, they went to the Labyrinth of subways and sewers lines. There is an unknown amout of them, so they can't keep on supplying them, so they gave up on them...

Circle of Thorns-In 1980's upper England found a group of Worshippers at Stone Hedge, and every since, they found many different people, nice, and cruel worshipping strange beings. They are the Circle of Thorns. They are found in most run down parts of Paragon, including the Hollows. They use magic to their advantage.

The Council-A high order of Villians, they don't seem like it, being high in the government, and industrial ladders, but they use others to do their dirty work, the main enemy of the game, they don't fall easily.

Trolls&Outcast-Main villians of the Hollows, a lawless area of the city, they fight for territory, and are always together fighting, or a group picking on one of the other group. The Hollows is where most of your missions take place, helping both sides, or the police. From destroying Troll caves full of drugs for the outcast, to destroying the Outcast base for the Trolls, they are always opponents.

I give this game a 8/10, it has awesome rp abilities, but there is lag and graphic mess ups. Sometimes the Server connection gets lost! But everything is worth it in the long run...

Some Heroes I know...
Strike Katana- Mutant Scrapper (Upcoming_Swell's character)
Gothic Ninja-Magic Blaster (Me)
Night Essence- Natural Scrapper
Sgt. Breaker-Technology Blaster
Ghostcowboy-Mutant Tank
Dark Assassin-Magic Controller
Balkan Dinamo-Science Defender
Neo Spidey-Science Scrapper

PS3vsXBOX360vsREVOLUTION

by Arthur Sataine

PS3

Sony's new system seems ready for the new age of media. Ken Kutaragi says the new PS3 will outdo, what he calls, the "XBOX 1.5". Sony claims that more technology goes into their box than Microsoft's. Well, now to the good stuff. Here are the PS3 specs:

Launch Date: Fall 2006
Price: $300-$400

Pros: The PS3 will be able to supporst memory cards of all sorts. First it will support it's own memory sticks(strangely they work for PSP as well). SD and CompactFlash memory sticks will be supported as well. The new system will be able to plug-up six different peripherals through six USB 2.0 ports. This puts the PS3 on top for USB ports. This means you could have your camera, headset, and keyboard plugged in at the same time! The PS3 will be Blu-ray technology. This will help if the future of media follows the way of the Blu-ray. The PS3 will also be able to support all forms of HD media viewing, from 480i-1080p. The machine will also support Wi-Fi. The PS3 will support up to 7 wireless controllers. It comes with three ethernet ports(as opposed to Microsoft's one). Two will be output, one input. Finally, every gamer's favorite part, the PS3 will be completely backwards compatible. Meaning it will play PSX(One) and PS2 games.

Cons: On the downside, the Blu-ray technology may not follow through. If tomorrow decided on another media format, then Blu-ray may be out the door. This seems to be the only real bad thing about the PS3. Unfortunately, the PS3(like the PS2) will not come packaged with it's extra hardrive. Lastly, the controllers have been redesigned. They now look like a small boomerang. Personally, this floats over badly with me. Why change a perfect design?

XBOX360

Gates has done a great thing with the XBOX. Unfortunately, he wasn't good enough to compare with Sony. This time around the 360 gives a bit more punch. But is it enough? Find out now. Here are the specs for the XBOX360:

Launch Date:Fall 2005
Price: $300-$400

Pros: Good news is, the 360 will come with it's extra hardrive prepackaged. Microsoft has arranged that it's new system will be upgradeable for future enhancements. This will allow the 360 to keep up with the digital age. Also, gamers will now be able to customize their game system. The 360s shell comes off for personal customization. Though the 360 has less USB ports than the PS3, it will be able to use all media formats. This includes cameras and MP3 players(including the PSP). XBOX Live will still be running strong. It has become one of the largest MM(massively multiplayer) programs to date.

Cons: Compared to Sony's Blu-ray technology, the 360s DVD format is much weaker. It has only a sixth of the space of Blu-ray. Backward compatability, good or bad? Well in this case it's bad. The 360 will only support the "best" XBOX games. Halo 2 is an example. Too bad for those who already sold their XBOX. The 360 is the only next-gen system without built in Wi-Fi support. This will hamper the sells on the 360.

NINTENDO REVOLUTION

Nintendo has been around for awhile. It has witnessed and survived the best and worst of the gaming world. With it's experience, you think Nintendo would provide an ample system for the next generation. Let's take a look. Revolution specs are as follows:

Launch Date: 2006
Price: $200-$300

Pros: The positive side of the spectrum. The Nintendo Revolution will be very portable. It's size equals that of three DVD cases stacked. This will allow easy transportation of and storage of the Revolution. The Revolution will support only two USB 2.0 ports, but will have it's own memory cards. It will also support SD memory cards. Now, time to clear up speculation. The Revolution will be fully backward compatible. It sports gamecube ports on a flap on it's side. To get any game before gamecube, you must download. You will have to pay to download, but a price has yet to be determined. Luckily, the Revolution is the first Nintendo system to ever grace the online world. Yay Nintendo!

Cons: Sadly, the Revolution will not come DVD ready. You must purchase a separate DVD player. It is good that Nintendo went online, but bad that the Revolution will support only Wi-Fi. This means you have to go buy a wireless adapter for net play. Nintendo has decided that HD is not important, as it will only play up to 480p. Nintendo believes that gamer's don't care about the picture, just the game. A point I would have to agree with. It's rumored as to what sort of controller Nintendo is coming up with. A dualshock touch controller perhaps? Who knows?

Summary
As with every console war, each system will prove better than the others in one way. What everyone is wondering most about, is whether the XBOX360 will outdo the PS3. Will Sony finally fall? Personally I think not. I'll stick with PlayStation until I die. Well, until next time kiddies! Farewell.
