Welcome to E T E R N A L
A legend to remember... A vision to renew...

This is a charity dedicated to the memory of plexi_lexi,
or Lexi as she was known to many close friends.
A proud supporter of anti-inflation efforts, Lexi spent most of her time and effort
organizing projects to benefit the entire Gaian community.
She was most well know for her 100 Kiki Bonanza and her 1k letter shop.

When she was banned, I think we all died a little inside.
Many people were very upset, still are,
and will continue to be for the unfairness of what has happened.
But through difficult times, we must all unite and stay strong.
Have faith. Stay true to Lexi's cause.

The four of us only wish to continue her amazing Gaian legacy which has touched so many hearts on Gaia.
Hopefully our efforts will be supported and we will be able to commemorate
the existence of this Gaian legend in the way that she would have wanted.

Yes, everyone knows her. Plexi_Lexi.
The name that proved fresh original talent in the Gaian art business,
the name that screamed out hope in the hearts of 100 Kiki Kitty questers in 2005,
and the name that fully rocked the world of this online community forum on the day of July 19, 2006.

Lexi was nothing short of a true legend.
We all have our own hereos; people we admire and respect,
people who have truly made an impact into our humble lives, that made us look at the world with a different eye.
The world is full of these good people; great humanitarians that really try to make a difference,
people who donate billions of dollars to good causes, people who aren’t hesitant raise their voice for something they believe in.
And in this pixelated online world of ours, Lexi stands out. She’s the one.

Brilliantly innovative artist despite the supreme artistic competition Gaia had to offer,
strategically tactful economist that understood the economy for what it was and worked it to her advantage,
and of course, a prime exemplar of what unhindered compassion and modest generosity can truly accomplish.

Whether it be online or out in the real world, a giver never stops giving.
In spite of her abrupt departure from Gaia, Lexi has not given up her passion for helping others.
A simple banning may have ended her days on Gaia,
but she chose to continue her charitable efforts on a much grander scale: Moving out into the real world.
Working with a few other privileged people, Lexi has decided to work on two projects that are aiming to be launched in late October.
Recently, the Plexi Foundation delivered its first donation ever to the Lebanon embassy in support of the children living through the war.

Whether or not Lexi decides to grace Gaia with her mystifying presence again, her memory will live on.
I know that I join countless others across this forum in giving thanks to Lexi for the many contributions she has made to us all,
both in form of donations and every single gesture of kindness she has made.
She is truly a unique individual, living for a higher purpose and a genuine loss for Gaia.
But think of it this way: as of this moment, there is more love, more compassion, more light in the world.

Lexi leaves us a strong message, one which knows no boundaries and which goes beyond simple website games.
No matter how cliche the phrase is, Lexi never ceased to remind me that "to give is the greatest gift of all".
She will always be remembered; not as an avatar on Gaia with a halo,
but as the most generous and admirable person I have ever had the honor of meeting.

So, in conclusion, thank you Lexi.
Thank you for teaching me so much and for opening my eyes to the joys of selflessness.
Good luck with all your future endeavours.
We will remember you.

On Gaia? Not an oldbie, not a newbie, just your friendly neighbourhood mental asylum escapee. Hobbies include the usual... Planning my eventual domination of the universe, setting up elaborate plans for all my enemies to die in horrible accidents that can't be traced back to me, moonlit walks on the beach, and hang-gliding.

My name is Moopy, Moop, what ever floats your boat. I've been called various things including Poo and OhMyGawdwhyishewearingaskirt?!?! I like to think I am a good person but at times I can be OhSoEvil. I play the Tenor saxophone as well as the spoons, I enjoy cooking and I plan on bieng a chef when I grow up so I can take Delani to Europe and Florida. So hey, I have absolutely no idea how to introduce myself. I'm Matt, male, 19 and English. That's pretty much it.

Formerly a heavy exchanger and commerce visitor under the names of ~Vascilia Sky~ and Under The Influence, my gaian life has recently toned down a little with the introduction of my full time job. I've obtained all that I wanted to obtain on Gaia, as far as both friends and items are concerned, and as such my time is centered around helping others. Regular donations are made, letters are sold, and the gold always goes to charity - I'm glad to finally be staffing one.

I don't like to have an opinion on myself. To some i'm kind, generous, to others i'm a destroyer of friendships and relationships. To some i'm the most honest man they've met, and to others i'm just a liar. If you're interested, then i'm sure you'll make your own mind up about me.

So I joined Plexi's Shop at some stage or another, not to get some awesome item for cheap, but because the people in there were fun and friendly. Always I wanted to contribute in some way but then when I found out about Plexi's banning I was rather devestated.
Thats why I thought it would be fun to contribute to this charity thread. I know the people in here are just as awesome so I thought they deserved the same chance to get random prizes and monies that were offered in Plexi's thread, and thats what I plan to do. As a charity, we rely on donations to keep going. However, we feel that larger donations shouldn't go unrecognised. So for donators that donate more than 5000g, or an item of equivalent value, I will make a signature bar, static or animated, custom for you and designed to your specification.

I will not create these as shop banners and advertisements, but I will however create them 'interest related' around the donator.

Occasionally, the staff will pick certain people to be chosen as 'Helpers', usually people who have very closely followed Plexi's charity.

These people, while they have no 'authority' over who will be donated what, will be our jury as to who we believe should receive certain items. They will also be our eyes and ears while we're not here, so if none of us are around and you decide to start being a pain in the arse, we WILL know about it. smile

You will need to send a PM to myself, stating your reasons why you'd like to help, and any previous involvements you've had with charities or shops.
