To relieve some pent up stress by talking, Ayeka-Chan and I decided to go for a little walk around gaia. We talked about all the things that were bothering us and never really payed attention to where in the world we were going. Before we realized it, we found ourselves among the midst of n00bs! We watched with terror at the horendous outfits and random nothing of the....
"N00bs!" I screech in horror.
We had landed ourselves in the heart of Chatterbox. As we glanced around nervously, we spotted that N00bs were instantly flocking to us, cussing, asking to cyber, and offering petty money for our stuff. Some even tugged at our clothes and accessories. We were surrounded! Luckily, I had my bat with me.
"Boot, don't kill them. You're already in trouble from last time..." Yekki warned me, and placed her palm on top of the bat to lower it.
"GET AWAY! I AM WARNING YOU! I'LL BREAK YOUR LEGS OR ANYTHING THAT TOUCHES ME!! *swings bat* DISPERSE! GO AWAY!!" I screamed threateningly at the the mob around us.
Using threats and swinging it at anyone that got too close to us, I managed to make them disperse with no casualties. Inching away from the heart of Chatterbox, we casually tried to make our way out, and trying not to run and cause a lot of attention. In a matter of mintues, we had managed to slink out of the worse of the n00b slums. Just when we thought we were safe, a lone voice screams out from the dispersing crowd:
"Hey, two girls...LET'S CYBER!!!" And tackles me to the ground.
I yelp in alarm and Yekki looks around worriedly to make sure no one heard him. That outbreak could start a lot more trouble if everyone noticed us again. She turned back on me to see the male n00b lying on the ground, with a large lump on his head, passed out. She glares at me.
"What? It was out of self defense!" I blurt as an excuse for my actions and shake the bat at him. Kicking the body, we both ponder at what to do.
Yekki broke the silence and whispered, "You need to do something with the poor guy. You can't just leave him here. He may get hurt or starve or be co..."
"Alright!" I interrupted her. "I get the picture. We can take him home until he wakes up. Maybe we could actually teach him a thing or two. Yeah, you know what? I'm gonna take him home and teach him right from wrong. He can become a proper gaian member and actually fun and respectable." I finished and had puffed my chest out with pride and determination. Yekki rolled her eyes and heaved a long, loud sigh.
Yekki helps me lift the body and carry it out of chatterbox stealthily and quietly. I reminded myself to count my lucky stars when we got home, because we weren't bothered again that whole trip home. When finall did arrive home, my dog Steel instantly gave us a look that read "wtf" but didn't ask. Stepping aside, he watched as we placed the n00b on my bed and watched him sleep. Finding this very boring, the three of us sat down at a table in the room and played a nice game of war to pass time. We sat and talked together as we played, Steel occasionally putting a word or two in, but he mainly watched the n00b, being very suspicious of him.
Finally, the guy moaned and woke up, rubbing his head. The fur on the back of Steel's neck bristled but he did not growl out of courtesy. The guy looked at us from atop the bed and instantly posed in an arrousing way.
"yOu no u Want me, THats y u brOught me AwaY from Every1. U 2 mUst bee Reeeeal naUty." He said slowly and smiled mischeifly. I just observed that he had no shirt on, and gritted my teeth at his obnoxiousness.
The only thing I remember happened after that, is Steel and Yekki holding each of my arms back and my bat broken in half. Also, the n00b had many a lumps over his head and wasn't going to be waking up for a looooong time. After things calmed down momentarily, and they were assured I was not going to beat that n00b to death, the three of us sat down and discussed the issue of the n00b in more detail, because this could be a tricky one...
"Well, you can't just leave him out there. He's definately got some issues that need to be solved." Yekki stated and sighed, staring at the body resting on the bed. "I mean, for Christ's sake they'll beat him to death like Boot nearly did!"
"Does that give him title to stay here and molest us? I think not!" I grumbled to myself and thrust my arms together in a crossed position.
"There will be no molesting here by him, I can assure you of that. Why don't you two just purify him of his problem and make him more respectable? Maybe you can get to know him better and teach him." Steel suggested thoughtfully to us and wagged his tail.
"Woah, woah, woah! I didn't do anything to deserve that burden! She's the one that beat the crap out of him so she can purge his unclean ways!" Yekki exclaimed, not wanting the responsibility of caring for that creature.
"But....wait!.......no!" I slammed my hands down on the table in frustration. As the other two stared at me waiting for an answer, I cussed upon realizing that I had none.
"So it's decided. Boot will rehabilitate the n00b until it is sane and respectable as a person." Steel announced happily.
We all turned to the n00b, looking at the small feat we could acheive by changing his ways and making him a more enjoyable person. We all begin to think what life would be like if we could just make all the n00bs like normal people... then a thought ran through Yekki's head and she gave a bright smile to show it.
"You know what guys, I think we should rehabilitate the n00bs with horrible problems and make gaia an easier place for people to get along! It would solve a lot of anger and frustration." Yekki suggested hopefully.
"You know what....that would be a wonderful idea! But we can't house them all..." Steel realized and sighed, ears dropping in his crushed hope.
"The hell we're housing anymore! One crazy one is good enough!" I burst out and instantly shut that idea down.
"Boot, language!" Steel scolded me.
"I know what we can do!" Yekki exclaimed after a moment of silence.
I cover my ears, close my eyes, and continually say I can't hear them, not wanting a part with any n00bs. They both glare at me but talk anyway. It's hard enough listening to one twenty yards away, but this is insanity they're talking about!
"We can get other responsible gaians to help these n00bs become respectable and break their bad habits and problems! Teach them to grow up and be proper members!" Yekki clapped her hands together and smiled at her idea.
"That's perfect! We should go get some right now and see what we can do!" Steel jumped up and wagged his tail. Looking at the door, he smiled and flapped his stretched his wings. "The n00bs await!"
Both Yekki and Steel jumped up and begin to run out the door. Realizing that it was dead silent in the room now, I opened my eyes to see them moving quickly away towards the door. My heart jumped out of my throat and and too stood up, knocking my chair over.
"Wait....what are you doing?! NO!!! GET BACK HERE!" I screech, but it was too late. They had already long gone down the road to the horrid Chatterbox.
"h3y bab3...l00ks lik3 wer a11 al0n3...." A voice from behind me whispers suductively.
I grimace. Why me?
