Welcome everyone to the single place where you can purchase Luckers! Please read the rules before even considering to purchase one of the little ones, and make sure that you follow the rules as well.

The Story
Down an alley off one of the busier streets of Durem, a newly constructed shop resides. It's a very tidy place that primarily sells greeting cards for all kinds of occasions, but they are most notably known for the sale of one item that is unique to them; little leather charms with furry tails decorated with beads and feathers and other trinkets. These good luck charms sell the best because, like everything else in Gaia, they aren't always what they seem.

These charms, if cared for by the right person, will actually grow into living creatures a little larger than a house cat. The little balls of energy and fluff are dotingly known as Luckers.

07/28/06: Growths from the last flat are now finished. We're still waiting on the inked lines for the items, but they should be coming out soon! ^.^

05/28/06: Flatsale planned for today, as well as polished off a growth yesterday!

03/07/06: Growths have been completed, the Spring Fling is up and almost running, and the tagging section has been created and polished off!

01/29/06: Growths for this week have been completed. Still trying to decide if/when to do a Valentine's Day Event.

01/17/06: Growths happened a few days ago, some changes have been made to the pricing of breedings, and the Sakura Lucker has been tagged.

01/01/06: Well, we've done some growths, sold another Lucker, and are working on rewriting a few of the shop pages, as well as re-organizing it some. Handed out the full-size image of Tekken the other day as well, and we have plans to get new certs. I also contacted a friend about touching up some of the linework on the Luckers and finishing the Mystics.

12/03/05: We have new affiliates! Updated the affiliates list, fixed a broken link in them too, PMed all colorists about events, sent out the newsletter through PM, grew the raffle Luckers yesterday, and removed Solstis from the colorists' list. Unfortunately, she has decided to resign in belief that her Luckers were not popular enough.

11/26/05: Did some affiliate hunting, got some items on the Luckers and x.Skada.x her Lucker. Doing some page maintenance, flatsale running now, and updated all the linking into tinypic and tinyurl. XP

11/25/05: Flatsale announced, previews up, and raffle preview up. Yes, this is short notice. XP

11/21/05: I'm back from the convention, and am still cleaning up the Halloween stuffs. I'll be a little slow, with post con depression and illness. -.-

10/01/05: The Halloween Trick-or-Treat Contest is now open! Rules and information are posted in the Events section!

09/24/05: Adult Luckers now have their mini-banners and full-shots (bad only) posted on page 92. The auction Luckers will be the next to start growing, and we have a raffle event coming up! New poll, concerning the Halloween event! And we have a new affiliate, Noodle Animals. They have really cute lil' adoptables!

09/23/05: All Luckers, bar the two auction specials are adults now! Woot!

09/19/05: Poll for the cosplay show auction is now closed. A new one will open soon!

09/10/05: We now have a poll in the preparation for determining what cosplay Lucker we want. The next poll will most likely be what character from the winning show you want it to be of. Naturally, if there's a tie, then there will be a tie-breaker. ^.^

08/30/05: Grew all youth luckers into juveniles and worked on some 'behind-the-scenes' stuff. The next event is going to be a raffle for Solstis' rainbow leopard good lucker charm. I've also asked for some help concerning resizing and transparency, and if she accepts growths should occur much more quickly.

08/04/05: Worked on getting the formatting back, did some general maintenance on the thread. Promise to get the growths done soon!

06/05/05: Okay, still recovering from the crap of the migration. The owner's list is in shambles, and I know it. I'm working on growths, but my computer's mouse crapped out. So I can access the internet on the laptop, but I can't access my Luckers files because they're on the home computer. *sighs*
05/17/05: Updated owner's list, and grew all Luckers to youth stage. Flatsale this Friday at 6PM EST and a charity auction on Saturday!

05/12/05: Updated owner's list, grew two luckers to baby stage, and updated colorists' willing to take customs. ^.^

05/11/05: Finished the sales section, and opened customs.

05/10/05: Rules are now completely written. More specific information on a charity event is soon to come. New banner added, made by littlechickie!

05/08/05: Did some major renovations to the shop layout, which are still in progress in preparation for the discovery of Ikyou. Don't worry about it now, it's way in the future. ^.^ Also got Solstis her B-Day Lucker with his lil' hat and noise maker. Placed more section titles up as well.

05/05/06: Flatsale completed, all Luckers tagged. Growths completed.

05/01/05: Revamped the growth charts (again) and they look fantastical! ^.~

04/30/05: First flat sale today!

04/28/05: You know you're lazy when you don't want to update the updates section. ^.~; Anyways, I've got the two new banners by Solstis up in the affiliate section, feel free to place them in your sigs and stuff people! More news on the flatsale; we believe it will be on Saturday evening and will most likely not feature all the artists.

04/25/05: We now have a few affiliates, and our banner is up and running! We do have another colorist, and another banner on the way!

04/24/05: Previews for the flatsale have been updated, request of another colorist to join our ranks has been sent out. Have recieved more fully colored sets, all of which's first stages are tagged and waiting ownership. First newsletter was sent out yesterday to the three on the friendslist.

04/22/05: Began setting up for the flatsale, beginning to place previews up. Planned flatsale for next week at the latest, have decided on an auction and a raffle Lucker. Tags and banner have been secured. Thick and thin lineart for the bad luckers has been secured.

04/21/05: Three confirmed, hired colorists beyond myself. Have confimed and sent trade for the banners and bad/good tags for the Luckers. Have begun planning for the first flatsale, raffle, and auction.

04/20/05: Wrote up role-playing rules, flatsale rules, and added to the present rules. Have chosen one colorist and am working prices on tag templates and banners at present. Added some information to the owners list, as well as updated a bit under the affiliates and the workers.

04/18/05: Finished scanning the bad luckers lineart, and have it uploaded and in photobucket. Have located someone willing to clean up (thin and dark lines) all sets of the lineart for a reasonable amount. Have located a bannerist and taggist I really like, as well as a number of great colorists I'm loooking forward to hiring!

04/17/05: Finished inking the bad luckers lineart, needs to be scanned in. Have started inking the mystic set, but am not done with the third stage yet. Have some applications for artists, one of which is decently good. They all need a little more practice - but who doesn't? ^.^

04/16/05: Began setting up the store, lineart is already sketched out and one set is scanned and ready to use. Still need to make banners, tags, and find some reliable colorists.

Failure to abide by these rules will cause you to be blacklisted and in some cases suggestions for you to be blacklisted will be given to all affiliates and all friends' shops. You may also lose your Lucker with or without warning and without reimbursement. We do take these rules seriously.

1. Absolutely no stealing of the concept or ideas, let alone the artwork. You also cannot claim it as yours. The concept and creature are made-up by the creator, with a little push of an idea from the face of Minekura's Hakuryuu from Gensomaden Saiyuki. If you are found to be doing so, you will be reported to Gaia and you will be blacklisted from this store and will be advised to be blacklisted from our affiliates and friends' shops.

2. Abide by all of Gaia's rules as far as content of posts. This means that we don't want any extreme foul language, any graphic content, or any suggestions of graphic content. Rule of thumb is that if you wouldn't want your principle, your mother, or your teacher looking over your shoulder at it then you don't need to be posting it.

3. Do not, under any circumstance, resize, edit, reformat, or save the Luckers onto your own server or for your own use. This means please direct link them! So that I know that you read this rule, you may say 'werewolf'. If you are concerned about the Lucker fitting into your signature on Gaia, then please PM this account and title your PM 'Signature Issues'. There are many ways around problems, for example using a randomizer. We can also create a 'minis-shot' of your lucker to keep in your siggy.

4. Do not post for a flatsale/auction/raffle/ect unless you already have the gold in hand. Do not PM anyone to purchase or place a bid. I will only take items when I specifically state which items I will take. Otherwise, please sell your items yourself beforehand. Do not send any kind of payment until Good_Luckers has PMed you to say that you have indeed gotten that Lucker. You will not receive your tagged Lucker until full payment has been received.

5. Do not PM any of the colorists or workers listed asking for a Lucker. If there aren't any up in the flatsales/raffles/auctions/ect pages, then there aren't any for sale. We do not give out free Luckers to those that beg for them. Period. Do not whine or complain if you don't get what you wanted, or if you don't have the money to purchase one. Do not PM the Good_Luckers account asking for one either.

6. Do not spam this thread with advertisements to your own shops or threads please. It gets old really fast. If you want to advertise, place them in your signature.

User Image

1. Role-playing of owned Luckers is not required at this time, however activity within the shop or Lucker-related threads is. If at any point in time you have not at least bumped a thread once or posted here RPing your Lucker within one week's time, you will be PMed a warning. If we do not hear from you within two weeks, then your Lucker will be taken from you without reimbursement.

2. Role-playing must be done in this thread (if at all), or a post linking to the roleplay directly or to a transcript of the roleplay (if completed over AIM or the like). At this point in time, it is alright to roleplay Luckers with other pets you own and vice-versa. However, we still need to see what's going on with your Lucker with your other pets and in other threads, so please let us know.

3. All RP within this thread must remain under PG-13. No exceptions to this. All links must also obey this rule.

User Image

1. Do not post after any Lucker until I post and say 'Go!' in huge size font with red letters. If you post before me, you are disqualified from the whole flatsale.

2. You may only purchase one Lucker from each flatsale per every 24 hours. This includes if you are purchasing for someone else, and includes if more than one person is purchasing for the same person.

3. Pure gold only, unless a specific item is requested by me. If you want the gold from the item, sell it yourself.

4. Do not post if you do not have the money on hand right then and there.

5. Do not send the trade for the Lucker until I have PMed you or posted that you have gotten the Lucker you requested.

6. Do not edit your posts! If you edit your post for any reason during a sale, you will be disqualified from that sale, no matter what the reason!

7. If you tip, the money goes to the colorist unless otherwise stated in the title of the trade. That's right, you can tip and it will go to the colorist, not the lineartist, not the shop, not the taggist.

User Image

1. Must have the amount to purchase on hand before you post your entry.

2. Do not send a trade until I have declared you the winner. This will be done by post. If you send me a trade before that, then I'll take it as a donation.

3. Do not edit entries for content after they have been posted. No exceptions to this.

4. Fill out all forms as asked for with correct information.

5. Post in present tense, formally, only. Do not use chat speak, astericks, ect. Do so and you will be disqualified from the competition.

6. Entries are encouraged to be less than 1000 words. This applies to the prompt responses only.

7. You must have posted in the shop thread previous to entry, or shown some type of interest in the shop.

If you win an event, you must:
1. Keep an RP/Research journal updated at least once a week with quality entries.

2. All journals must be formally written. Only Good_Luckers and you are allowed to post in them. Entries can be journal format or live/story format.

3. Good_Luckers will create the journal for you, but you are responsible for posting everything you want in there.

4. You cannot physically interact with the creatures of Ikyou, you can only observe them and make observations regarding them. You can, however, bring back samples of plants there. This is encouraged.

5. Any 'findings' concerning the world must be posted in the journal and presented in character.

6. You can place pictures from others or yourself within the journal if you want to. IE sketches or photographs of flora you see, or 'fanart'/'photographs' of Luckers and other fauna.

1. No items will be taken unless specifically asked for. And they will only be taken at the stated price.

2. Sniping rule comes into effect during the last half an hour of an auction. If you bid within the last half an hour, then the auction time is increased by another DAY.

3. Don't bid if you don't have the gold on hand at that moment in time.

4. Do not change your bids, period. If you edit a post that is a bid, you will be placed on the black list.

5. Do not, under any circumstances, chase people away from bidding or make them feel bad for bidding. Doing this will make me DQ you from that auction and the next flatsale. No exceptions.

User Image

1. There is no maximum to the total number of tickets that can be bought, but there will be a minimum so that at least the base price of a Lucker is covered by all the tickets. Raffles will have an end date, not a ticket maximum that must be reached. A raffle will only be extended if the minimum has not been reached.

2. When you ask for your ticket(s), tell the number you want times the price of a single ticket and say the total. Send the trade right away. You will not be credited with your tickets until the trade is sent and confirmed.

3. You cannot choose the numbers of your tickets. It goes in order.

4. No sharing of tickets/ticket numbers during a raffle. In other words, there will be no joint ownership of a Lucker from a raffle.

There are three different breeds of Lucker, two of which are common and one of which is uncommon/rare. Like most small-medium mammals, females and males of the species look alike. The growth of a Lucker occurs in five obvious stages, which in order are 'charm', 'fluff baby', 'young fluff', 'juvenile fluff', and 'best of/worst of/changing lucker' (varies by breed). Each breed of lucker has a different set of 'norms' as far as their behavior and personality is concerned.

<center>User Image</center>
Good Luckers
Benevolent little spirits that are little more than a good laugh and a ball of energy cloaked in fluff. It is said that they bring good luck to those that care for them. Beyond that myth, they love popping up in the oddest places; like the front pocket of a hoodie, the spot in between your lunch and that math book in your backpack, and the pillow case you have that's too big for the pillow. They do little things around the house while you're gone to help out like dusting with their big fluffy tails and taking care of other small cleaning tasks.
Charm: This is what stage in life your Lucker will be at when you purchase him or her, and in this stage the Lucker is pretty much an inanimate object. If you take good care of it, it may continue in its growth. It is still uncertain whether or not the charm's additions like beads and feathers will effect the growth of the Lucker.
Fluff Baby: After five days of waiting, the Lucker is finally starting to look like something. Unfortunately, it may be feeling rather warm, but it isn't yet a living creature.
Young Fluff: Five days to one week after that, the Lucker is finally born! This little one is insecure with its new existance and surroundings, and will probably take to hiding whenever and wherever it can.
Juvenile Fluff: Seven to ten days after the birth of the young fluff, the Lucker will be into its juvenile fluff phase. About the size of a small cat, these Luckers enjoy sleeping a lot and don't seem to mind the things that the young fluffs did.
Best of Lucker: It takes about another five days for the Lucker to become fully grown - now a full fledged best of lucker and willing to help out wherever it can! It's larger than a cat now, and has boundless energy, almost as if it's trying to make up for how much it slept as a juvenile.

<center>User Image</center>
Bad Luckers
Strange puff balls with a knack for falling headlong into trouble, their reputation is for causing bad luck to hover around. they have a habit of causing little things to turn wrong by knocking over open ink wells, chewing up paper, and stepping on open tubes of paint. Typically harmless in their pranks, however, they are generally tolerated just for being funny and as a spice to one's life.
These ones will typically lounge around a good deal, and do tend to stay out of trouble for the most part.
Juvenile Fluff: Seven to ten days after the birth of the young fluff, the Lucker will be into its juvenile fluff phase. The bad lucker has developed a second tail puff, and has acquired a taste for trouble. They'll love to play pranks around the house, sometimes popping up in your bookbag or briefcase at school/work to cause mayhem for you there.
Worst of Lucker: It takes about another five days for the Lucker to become fully grown - and now fully capable of spicing up your life! Their tails have divided completely into two seperate appendages, joined a bit down the base. They'll be much more active about their business during the day, but are more than willing to curl up beside you at night.

Mystic Luckers
Certainly the strangest of all the luckers, this breed is known for causing really extraordinay things to happen. Owners of mystic luckers often report seeing strange orbs of glowing light as well as hearing noises that can only be likened to something preternatural. They can cause objects no larger than themselves to hover in the air (including themselves), and moreso than the Bad Luckers are generally feared for their strange talents.
Timid at times, the young mystic lucker won't take to hiding but rather to floating away from what scares it.
Juvenile Fluff: Seven to ten days after the birth of the young fluff, the Lucker will be into its juvenile fluff phase. This stage of mystics tend to lounge around, but not actually sleep. They are almost the size of a cat, and will often be found sitting perfectly still for long periods of times. It is in these kinds of states that the strange noises and glowing orbs can be seen and heard.
Changing Lucker: It takes about another five days for the Lucker to become fully grown - and fully strange. The horn on their head has elongated and become rather prominent. They are very inquisitive and enjoy looking out windows, but not actually going outside. They seem to have a practice of almost meditating where they will float a few centimeters off the surface their standing on, summoning the orbs of light and the strange sounds. Perhaps they can interpret them for the future, as some owners suspect, or perhaps it's their form of entertainment - like a laser rock concert.

Information on Elementals and Deities coming soon!

If there are no sales posted at the time, then there is nothing up for flatsale. Please read the rules before attempting to get a Lucker from any of the sales/events.

Customs allow you to completely design your own Lucker, or to even ask for a lineart alteration. There are four main types of customs, and it is reminded that although you can suggest your colorist with the first option, it is not guranteed to go to that colorist. Any lineart changes means that Waarufu/Good_Luckers will be doing the coloring most likely. If they can't do it, then it will go to another colorist of their choosing.

At present, Waarufu/Good_Luckers and littlechickie are the only ones accepting customs.

Jewellry and other items sold in the shop are not included in any customs and must be bought seperately through the shop. If you want to purchase something to go on your custom, you may do so at the same time.

Custom Types
Type One: You choose the coloration and pattern of your Lucker, what breed it will be, it's eye color, and even what gender. The Lucker will grow normally, meaning you will get it at charm stage.
Price: 7K (7,000)
Type One Variant: You choose the coloration and pattern of your Lucker, what breed it will be, it's eye color, and even what gender. The Lucker will be given to you as an adult. This means that you get your Lucker fully grown and able to breed, but won't be able to use any of the potions on your Lucker.
Price: 5K (5,000)

Type Two: You may design a small change to the base lineart of a breed of Lucker of your choice that will be implemented, but you may not choose the coloration of your Lucker. You may, however, choose the gender. This Lucker will grow normally, meaning it will start as a charm.
Price: 15K (15,000)
Type Two Variant: You design a small change to the base lineart of the breed of Lucker of your choice, and choose the gender, but you may not choose the coloration of your Lucker. You will receive this Lucker as an adult, and will not be able to use any potions on him/her.
Price: 12K (12,000)

Type Three: You choose a small change to the base lineart as well as the color and pattern of your choice. The gender and breed are your choice as well. This Lucker will start as a charm and grow normally.
Price: 25K (25,000)
Type Three Variant: You choose everything as you would in Type Three, but your Lucker arrives as an adult and cannot use any potions.
Price: 22K (22,000)

Type Four: Large lineart change is available, but you cannot choose coloration or pattern. Gender and breed are also things you may choose. The Lucker grows normally.
Price: 85K (85,000)
Type Four Variant: Large lineart change is available, but you cannot choose coloration or pattern. Gender and breed are also things you may choose. The Lucker is given to you as an adult and cannot use any potions.
Price: 78K (78,000)

Type Five: You may choose large lineart changes, gender, breed, and color. Lucker grows normally.
Price: 105K (105,000)
Type Five Variant: Same as Type Five, but the Lucker is given to you as an adult and cannot use potions.
Price: 98K (98,000)

PM your custom order with the type and appropriate description and your total to Good_Luckers. You may request a colorist, but that one is not guranteed. If what you ask for does not fall under the Type you've requested, you will be notified. Send the trade as soon as you order.
Tagging and Banner Information

Because of the rather unique shape of the Bad Luckers, and the range of tags available for use, it's important to let everyone know that they have a choice in how their Lucker is tagged.

Before the adult stage, you may change the cert your Lucker is on once. This means that you may change the cert he/she originally comes on once, for free!

After your Lucker is an adult (bar all Luckers purchased before March of 2006), it will cost 250g to change the cert your Lucker is on unless you do this when you purchase items. If you purchase items at the same time, it will only cost you 100g.

There are three banners to choose from and samples of each are shown below with their respective dimensions. Please note that the Worst of Lucker does not fit unless resized (see certs 2 & 3) on any of the tags, and that the Juvenile Good Lucker does not fit unless resized on cert #3. You have a choice to have your Lucker 'normal-sized' (like on cert #1) or resized (like certs #2 and 3).

*width comes before heigth in the following dimensions*

1. 474 x 462User Image
2. 500 x 350User Image
3. 450 x 393User Image

And because we know that it's important to you to have your Lucker (and not just your Lucker) in your signature, when your Lucker becomes an adult we can make for you a complimentary (free!) mini banner upon request.

Full-sized versions of adult Luckers with a border and their name are also available upon request.

The item shop is a place where you can purchase accessories for your Lucker, as well as certain potions and pills to change the appearance of your lucker, or to promote or stop growth. All possible inventory is listed below, with the number available at the time as well as the price.

Custom accessories can be created, for the right price. There is a custom order form at the bottom of this page. Keep in mind that once an item is created, it will be available for re-purchase and for everyone else to purchase. If you would like to order a custom accessory that only your Luckers can have access to, the price will go up - steeply.

Potions can be used in conjunction with each other. IE you can purchase a Reduce-Age Potion, a Freeze-Stop Potion, and a Gender-Change Potion to use all at once. For every potion you buy at one time to be used on the same Lucker, 100g is subtracted from your total.

IE: You want to make your baby Lucker hit adulthood right now. You also want him to be a her. So you purchase the gender-change potion and three Age-Up potions. You pay 500g for the gender-change potion, plus 1,200g for each of the three age-up potions. That's a total of 4,100g. But you bought four potions to be used on the same Lucker. This means that you get 100g times 4, which equals 400g off of your total. So instead of paying 4,100g, you're paying 3,700g.

Luckers are among a species that will choose a mate for life. They are not restricted to bond just within their breed, but rather good and bad as well as mystic luckers can pair bond. Pair bonding is the term used to label a pair of luckers that have decided to devote their lives to each other.

I am sorry to say that these are not yaoi/yuri breedables. To produce offspring, Luckers must be of different genders. However, you can request to pair bond two males or two females as well as request a pair bond tag; there may be an adoption process in the future if enough of these pairs are created.

A tag of the pair bonded couple may be purchased for use by both owners and is enouraged. It does, however, cost an extra 200g (100g from each of the luckers' owners) to recieve the pair bonded tag. If your lucker becomes bonded to another, you are not required to purchase the pair bonded tag. Only pair bonded couples may mate and produce offspring.

To pair bond your lucker with another, PM Good_Luckers (this account) with the names, links to present tags, and genders of both luckers. If each lucker is owned by a different owner, I must get the same information from both owners. You may request a pair bond tag at this time. Please do not send the trade if you do ask for a tag until I have given confirmation on the pair bond.

Females of the species will have anywhere from one to three babies per breeding. A dice roll is used to determine the number of offspring, as well as their genders.

If two good luckers have children, all their offspring will be good luckers. If two bad luckers have children, all their offspring will be bad luckers.
If a bad lucker and a good lucker have children, their offspring will all be mystic luckers.
If two mystic luckers have children, all their offspring will be mystic luckers.
If a mystic lucker and any other species have children, their offspring will all be mystic luckers.

Luckers must be adults (best of/worst of/changing lucker) to be able to breed).

Breeding Spots
There are no breeding spots available as there are no pair bonds.

Breeding costs the owners of the Luckers 2K if you own both, or 1.5K from each owner if they are owned by two different people. They are allowed first pick from the litter, which can be between two to five kits, and will pay flatsale price for any extras after that. If they don't want the kits, they will be sold in the store or raffled off, sometimes as a free raffle. The number of kits and the genders are determined by dice roll.

To breed, a PM must be received with the names, genders, and links to both of the Luckers from all of the owners involved. I will not breed the Luckers until this has been done. When purchasing a kit from a litter, the owners must first discuss who wants which kit(s) before PMing me. It will not be a first come first serve basis as far as owners are concerned. You hash it out before contacting me. Do not send the trade for any of the kits' charms until I have given the okay.

If you get put on a list, then it's either really really good, or really really bad. You can be removed from the white list at any time, but if you get onto the black list then it's going to take a lot of apologizing and making up for your mistakes to get off of it.

Those faithful few who help out in the shop here are listed below. For spam reasons, some of the people's identities on Gaia are not released.

Waarufu
Lineartist, creator, voted most likely to go crazy, has a love of dragons (and kyns!), and one of the colorists (^.~). She's behind everything (even the really big mistakes), but couldn't be here without the support and help of friends. She also runs another shop, and is a guest/part-time colorist for the kyn thread.

Alright, I'll be honest, if I put everything I wanted up here it'd stretch for about three pages... o.o If you want to trade me, PM Good_Luckers with your proposal. If I accept it, then I'll let you know. If I don't, I'll let you know. I'm sorry if I don't accept it, but sometimes it's got to do with time and other times with the fact that I've got too many like that or it really just isn't in my taste. *nod nod*
