Not really having much to do, and being that Andrea was just hauled off by the principal, the enigmatic flirt decided to head to class. Masao was still worried about what Kareen was up to. Hopefully the girl would be able to make it to class alright. Then there was still the matter of talking with her and apologising.

Sighing as he walked into the class and took his seat, the boy plopped his head onto the table and groaned. I really ******** up, he thought. The blond still wasn't really sure just what he had done, but he knew Kareen hadn't liked it. Maybe he was too flirty. Thing was, it was how he was. It was fun and he didn't like to be so -- boring.

Kaoru was quietly dozing on the table when the violet-haired woman came over and poked him. What was worse was it was the elf's sensitive side. He flailed out of the chair with much dramatic flair, falling onto his butt and even squeaking softly at the poke. Blushing in embarrassment, he quickly got up and ignored the stares of some curious onlookers.

"Ah, s**t. . . is it lunch time already?" He asked Sevi.

The lithe teen wasn't sure what time it was and he got the impression that he'd fallen asleep for class and he'd be in trouble. And way to go flailing in front of a girl! he cursed himself. She was kind of cute herself, making his assumption that the school was filled with pretty woman a truth at this point. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair and tried to laugh off the incident.

                "Uh, s-sorry about that. . . Hi?"

A man works at the main desk, in front of all the other student desks. He is studious and hard-working. Talking to him might bring his temper up. He will ignore anyone who talks to him.

Mei-Li curiously watched the two before going to her eggs and muffin. She was used to having a semi-big breakfast and eating a lot during the first meal of the day. It may have been caused by eating contests with Ryuu. Stupid cousin of hers. She inwardly chuckled at the thought before going back to observing her roommates. Apparently, Kareen wasn't much of an eater during the mornings. With a shrug, she quickly went to the muffins after the two fried eggs were devoured, whites only. She wasn't really fond of the yolk which did have the unwanted calories. After finishing said muffin, she began to debate on whether to eat the yolk or not. She didn't want to half-faint at the beginning of P.E. class again. Deciding not to mention that since no one except Jin had noticed, she looked up at Nox and Kareen. She didn't bother debating on telling Nox about Kareen's outburst during said English class. The half-witch wasn't exactly sure what the raven haired girl's problem was with the commotion that didn't involve her. Bringing it up would probably bring the attitude back as well. Liking the current friendly calm among them, Mei-Li decided to stay quiet on that matter.

"Huh, I almost forgot about the groups. I don't even know who is in mine except...Jin," she said while her mind trailed off to the cat boy. She hadn't seen him since lunch. Maybe he was off doing something. Hoping to see him at class so that they could discuss this "project", Mei-Li shrugged. The groups would probably shifted as what Kareen had said. She heard three students were kicked out of the school for certain vulgar reasons. Not that it bothered Mei-Li since she had little to no contact with any of them. There was that short girl she had seen running around various places here and there and hanging around Dante and bumping into Jin...but the half-witch shrugged her away. "Oh, we also played soccer in P.E. We're doing a new game every day I think...out team won, but we may be on different teams this time," she said with a grin that faded with the thought of shifting people for the teams. With that, she went to finish the egg yolk. The taste wasn't very appetizing to the brunette, but she didn't mind. She'd need the energy for the next game right?

Looking up, Mei-Li tilted her head. "Hm? Gatorade?" she asked while trying to remember the drink. The words: "sports drink" popped up into mind. "Ah...I'll take a Gatorade I guess. I heard they taste good," she said with a grin. She hadn't drank a sports drinkg in a long time since her last visit to the States. Her father and company liked to feed the children "natural" foods that came out of their garden or a "checked" garden. It made more sense to make food and drinks out of items from your own garden instead of buying them form someone else even though the other's may have been more appealing and popular. Waving good-bye to Kareen, she took a drink and slipped it into her bag. "We can debate when we get to class okay?" When Kareen returned, Mei-Li stood up and threw her trash away. When their little trio was ready, she led them to class. After the slight panic last night in the classrooms, she had a very good idea as to where their next class was.

                          "Here it is!"

With a finished lunch, the trio was off again. They walked side by side, before they made it into the History class. Kareen's eyes stared at a man, about 30ish, hunched over a desk. He looked serious and not to be messed with. It intimidated her some, but she didn't wanna let it get to her. With a cautious look, she flickered a gaze towards the other member that was in the room. Masao and a black-haired guy that she saw last class, maybe they were all together? She'd have to admit, what she did was a bit harsh, but she just couldn't have let him get away with that little trick he pulled. It was almost insulting. Looking down, she tried not to stare too long at the teacher. He probably might get mad or something. He gave off a different sort of atmosphere than their last teacher. A strict and harsh atmosphere. Something not to be messed with. Turning her eyes to her roommates, she offered, "Do you guys wanna sit together? " Her voice hushed down to a whisper, "I don't know how tough this class is.. but it's best to stick together, right?" Just that alone was a good enough encouragement for her to try and enjoy the class. Maybe with friends like these.. or.. erm.. roommates, she'd be calm enough to hold her temper. Besides, looking at their teacher, it looked like he could handle things. She sure hoped so. He wasn't late, he was there right there.

Cocking her head to three seats in the back, she maneuvered her way towards the seats, quickly sitting down. She slid her backpack off of her shoulders and unzipped a small pouch in her backpack. There, she pulled out a mechanical pencil, that had an asian-kiddish sort of design. Giggling quietly at it's silliness, she flashed it towards her roommates, and then brought it down towards her desk. "Looks like everyone is taking their sweet time.. " With that said, she slid her hands into another compartment of her backpack. She took out the M&M's that Nox had given her--- she decided to take the whole bag.

Waving it towards Nox and Mei-Li, she smiled, "Want some?" As she waited for their replies, she poured one M&M into her hand. Aiming at the blond's head, she grinned devilishly. Maybe this would lighten the mood that she set yesterday. Aim. Fire.

The colored-candy flew through the small space between her and Masao, hitting his head and falling onto his desk. "Hehe. "

The cyborg headed into the cafeteria. She wouldn't be needing too much to eat. Like the "models" of today's society, she didn't eat a lot. It wasn't bad for health. All the power she needed was from sleep. Food just helped with the nutrition. Getting a simple fruit cup, the cyborg began to head to the classroom. It seemed more efficient to just eat while walking. Since a fruit cup was a very movable, edible item, Adel decided to do just that. While walking down the hallway, she picked up the fruit with her thin pale fingers and popped them into her mouth. Her mouth was one of the few parts that stayed human. It was ironic since it was one thing that wouldn't allow air in when she needed it. It is kind of hard to breathe in salt water. she thought with a shrug as the last piece of fruit entered and was destroyed in her jaws. Disposing the fruit cup in a nearby trashcan as she entered the room, the cyborg noticed that there were others already inside. With a shrug, she noticed the friend of the cat boy that was harassed by Bartel. Now that she thought about it, where was that punk? She looked around to see no sign of the teen. Figures. she thought while looking and examining the teacher.

Walking over to the friend of the catboy, the cyborg tilted her head. She noticed a bit of blood. "You...were bleeding?" she wondered. Had Bartel decided to throw a punch on the dark haired male? The thought ticked the cyborg off.

Masao hadn't heard anything when the three room mates entered the classroom. In fact, he was lost in his thoughts. It was really depressing, to him. Despite how much of a flirt he was, he really cared about Aihara-kun. That said, he being mad at him was -- painful.

As the three took their seats, he still had his head on the desk when something hit the back of it, almost dead center. He blinked and stood up as the girl chuckled. Masao turned to see the familiar face of his childhood friend. Aihara-kun? he questioned and stared for a moment. Is she still mad or. . . The blond shook the thoughts and smiled cheerfully at the trio seated behind him. He waved at the girls and the new kid, not having met him yet.

"H-hey Aihara-kun!" his tone was cheerful, but being that Kareen knew him she should note there was something off about it, "Trying to make me fat so I don't show you up~"

Take a look at my body, look at my hands,
There's so much here that I don't understand...

Jin felt oddly comfortable around Seon, it was strange how they had only met seconds ago. In an awkwardly tense situation no doubt. He decided to trust the guy, after all, he had caught Jin, not to mention that he was kind enough to see him to the nurse. He was just happy to be away from Bartel, the vicious dog. "Yes, we'll be there shortly." He said glancing sideways at him. He couldn't help but quirk a brow at Seon's following words. A bemused smile entered Jin's girlish face. "Five minutes ago? Then I apologize for what you've seen so far! Must be kind of a let down. Unity is usually a lote calmer, that guy is just a special case it seems."

Like Jin said, it didn't take long for them to reach the nurse's office. Jin opened the door and the nurse immediately rose up from her chair to help the neko. A flurry of questions sprayed from her mouth, like, 'Who did this?' 'Are you okay?' 'How long...?' blah blah blah, the usual questions. Jin simply answered them and let the woman work her magic on his knee and the other minor bruises. He looked up at Seon with a grin. "Thanks so much for walking me here, Seon. I really appreciate it!" He said, giving him a thumbs up. Maybe it was the headache growing in the back of his head, or maybe it was just his character to be so cheerful. Jin couldn't really tell. He glanced at the nurse who gently laid a pack of ice on his knee, then returned to her desk to log the situation.

Mana strolled down the corridor with an apple in hand, a large and defined bite mark in it. She chewed the bite happily, a little smirk on her face. From what the kind man at the office had told her, Jin was in class 1-I. Of course he had to tell her in a stupid joke, so she had to pretend to laugh. She didn't feel like getting off on the wrong foot with the faculty just yet. The neko laid a hand on her hip when the door came into view. She took a breath, hoping her little brother would be there. Mana took hold of the handle and threw the door open -- almost too enthusiastically. It flung back and hit the wall with a loud crack. She winced, but entered anyway. The door clicked behind her.

She saw the teacher first. He immediately sent off 'Don't-talk-to-me' vibes, and that was fine by her. Teachers only pissed her off. Then she saw the trio, then the blonde kid at the desk. For a few seconds she watched the interactin between a black haired girl and the blonde, hand on her hip. She bit off another chunk of her apple, a little bored. With a little sigh she swallowed, then walked towards the students. "Hey. Do you guys know a 'Jin'? Looks like me...only a boy?" She asked flatly, eyeing them all one at a time. Surely they did know him, or at least had seen him. It was hard to ignore someone who had cat ears and a tail protruding from their body.

The dark haired teen let out a deep sigh and blinked a few times, staring blankly at the teacher. Dariyen's cyan orbs studied him as he watched the stern loking teacher busy himself at his desk. He looks stiff..so that means he may strict, alright I just won't get on his bad side, I guess. Hm, he seems to be productive, so I guess that means we should as well? Back to stiff part, he probably doesn't want fooling around, looks like he's a hard crowd to make laugh. Hm, also doesn't look like the talkative type either..got itHe let out a slow sigh and closed his eyes as various thoughts jumbled together in his mind, such as the boy-now man known as Bartel, and how he hurt Jin. The way Jin had scampered off worried Dariyen a bit and that showed when he opened his eyes to thin slits, staring at the grainy surface of the desk. His eyes began to shine a bright blue as he worried about his friend. "Oh Jin, I hopes 'oo is alright. I feel at fault." The Italian muttered to himself and began to curse at himself in his mind, but he was cut off in his mind and from his 'depression' when he heard a girl speak to him and mention something about 'blood'. He quickly lifted his head, turning to her and was surprised to see the sea-green haired girl from earlier.

Bleeding? Oh no...thought I wiped that. The young teen licked his finger and rubbed at the rough area and gave a soft laugh to her response."Si si~ But I is alright now! Do not worry~ He did not hit that hard..." He flashed a closed grin at her and gave a quick wink, "Thank 'oo for earlier, 'oo tried helping my friend, yes? Thank 'oo," He bowed his head at her slowly and looked up at her again smiling, "I am Dariyen Rossi, and who might 'oo be lovely miss?" He asked sincerely toward the short haired girl.

He mentally agreed that this was just a bump in the road. He happily marched to class, the air of studying - not necessarily school work - on his mind. Yet, not only was the teacher unapproachable, the teacher was a guy. Yes, a guy. Nox found it mildly humorous how he missed the first day when the teacher they had for class was a female. He found it less humorous how he was on time the second day only to be greeted by... that. A thirty-something year old history teacher. Joy. Kareen wanted them to stick together and after seeing the male teacher, he didn't feel so eager to separate either. Oh well. He came for the change, right? This was a better start than any to begin as he would have to pay attention to the subject if the teacher themself wasn't worth watching. "How fortunate of me to be accompanied by two pretty ladies," he ribbed with a twinkle in his eye.

He obediently followed the girls to what was going to be their future seats. Kareen flashed her kawaii-printed pencil at them, afterward reaching into her bag for the M&M candy he had given her earlier. She offered him and Mei-Li some; he took a couple, popping them in his mouth, savoring the rich flavor. Nox was originally curious as to why these particular seats were chosen until he noticed how close they were to another person. A blonde male whom Kareen was staring at. Not lovingly, but mischievously. He knew what she was thinking and he was going to enjoy this. She flicked it and it hit the male square on the head before bouncing. Apparently, Kareen knew this person since he already knew her name. He seemed like a happy enough guy.

He thought about waiting for them to reply but the atmosphere felt a bit strained. He wondered if it was because of the silent teacher sitting by himself. After the male spoke to Kareen, Nox reached out a hand, "We haven't met yet but I'd like to fix that. Yo, my name's Nox Aingael. Yours?" As he did so though, a cute girl, a neko by the looks of it, approached them. He turned to his companions in question. Did any of them know the person this girl was looking for?

User ImageAs soon as they entered the cafeteria, Eliana poured herself a large bowl of Lucky Charms and a generous-sized cup of coffee. Black. She didn't like anything weakening the taste. Not in the mood for anything else that morning, the teen took her food to sit with Ryuu. He seemed like a nice guy, she decided. His calm attittude was another bonus: it made talking to him much easier for the social retard. After taking a sip of coffee (Thank goodness for legal stimulants! She thought with a mental sigh), Eliana took out her cellphone to check the time.

"We should get to class now. History is definitely one that you don't want to be late for," the biokinetic said, looking across the table toward her roommate. For Eliana, that statement had a double meaning. While the teacher, being rather strict, was a very good reason all on its own, the girl simply loved the class too much to ever miss any part of it. Sure, history wasn't science or math, but it was the next best thing. It was also the only social science subject she ever enjoyed. Eliana hated politics, sociology, and (she shuddered at the thought) communication studies . . . The later was practically hell on earth as far as she was concerned.

Grabbing her backpack, Eliana stood up and returned her attention back to Ryuu. "Are you ready to go?"

The cyborg automatically blamed Bartel for the injury, but decided to investigate before drawing conclusions. She looked up and around at the other people in the room. No one seemed to have assigned seating. According to the schedule, they didn't have this class yesterday either. Taking a seat in front of the Italian, she looked at him while smiling slightly at his grin and wink. The signs made her doubt that the impact was not as bad as he had claimed. "Ah...I wasn't really planning on helping him. He kind of stumbled on Bartel when I was talking to him," she explained with a slight chuckle. She didn't even get to hit the bully. Doubting that he was going to enter the room any time quick, Adel sighed. She meant to hit him, but missed instead. "But...you're welcome I guess." Being known as "hero" like figure was good right? Liking that image, she took his gratitude and his name. According to his name and accent, he was a foreigner. Italian? she guessed. "Nice to meet you Dariyen Rossi. I am Adeline Mellvill. I like to go by Adel though," she said while assuming that the first part of his name was his first name. She rarely went by her Japanese name, and didn't introduce herself with the last name first and first name last. It didn't seem to make sense to the cyborg. She wasn't born in Japan either, so she felt no reason to do so.

"Fine by me," Mei-Li said with a grin. She didn't know who else she would sit next to. There was Dante, Jin, and Eliana who she sat with yesterday, but she kind of wanted a change in seating per class. Plus, this would give her some time to stick around her roommates. The half-witch found it both good and bad. Bad because she would be staying around them a bit too much for her liking. Good because she could figure out what kind of people they were. She wouldn't want to be staying in the same room with a stranger. At least they were all in the same class despite their ages, grades, and races.

Taking the offered M&M's, Mei-Li munched quietly as she watched Kareen hit Masao with the piece of candy. A small chuckle escaped the half-witch as the flirting blond began responded. Maybe he was just trying to not provoke the dark haired girl's temper? Now that she thought about it, they seemed kind of close. She remembered asking Masao if he knew Kareen from before and he answered with a yes. Maybe they were childhood friends? They didn't really seem like it unless they interacted with each other. The topic sparked Mei-Li's curiosity, but she decided to wait until it was appropriate to ask questions. Learning from Dante, she figured that she should watch and observe when the right time was to ask a question or two. "Morning Masao," she said with a wave. Soon, a cat girl walked into the room and asked about Jin. Where had the cat boy gone? She needed him for their project! The brunette surveyed the class curiously and found no sign of the requested Jin.
