♕'Just a little more,' the chained fence around the school's roof top rattled, dinging noise to the gents aspiration of making it over. The inward concaved top proving to be the more difficult part of the whole action but as he managed to weasel himself up and over, the soles of his shoes touched down on the tiny ledge, the feat had been achieved and he no longer felt caged. Sure the sole reason for a fence in a location like this was meant for safety issues, his action a clear violation to rules but did it bother his conscience at all. Certainty not, being a bird it was no wonder the guy liked heights, a birds eye view was all he was trying to achieve and while this was breaking policy at least he hadn't broken the main law of the school. Keeping one's identity in secrete from the schools more human occupants, yes there were some students who heard rumors, or witnessed it for themselves but as far as he knew none to which were anything other than peculiar beings themselves.
A deep breath, one that filled his chest to it's maximum capacity was taken in, a refreshing act that cleared all wondering aspects of his mind. The sky being his absolute first and foremost concern as everything seemed relatively dark for it being mid day. The clouds were puffy, grey in color looking more and more like approaching trouble, the chill factor, able to feel it in the hollow parts of his joints was absolutely freezing, if he had been a duck he would have flown south but as for now he settled with placing his hands deep into his jacket pockets. Keeping near perfect balance, Zayne began to walk, left in direction, heading across the front ledge of the school. Faint red orbs, ones that passed as if they could have been colored contacts but were in fact his real eye color was set on the busy courtyard below. Watching as many of the student's filed from building's going about the rest of their day in absolute bliss after such an announcement made by the headmaster himself had been heard from all corners of the campus.
Much harder now to find a quiet, dinky corner or even a whole slab of wall side to vandalize without risking the very aspect of being caught. Not actually caring, but it was always a bother being spotted, lead to why the twenty-four year old was up here in the first place, currently scouting out an ideal location, one he would further use as a canvas, for all he really wished to do was let loose, show off his art skills, yes, in a bit of an un-orthodox fashion, tagging the building. However even if one didn't like such ways of expression, no one could rightfully deny by any standards that graffiti was not a form of art. So it was set, new found determination, his mind well made up, Zayne continued his quest leisurely following the ledge like a balance beam around till about three quarters the length of the entire school his movements would seize, keen sight having spotted what would come considerably known as a perfect location. 'Now if only I had a way down,' a slight conundrum considering the man wasn't about to fly, nor would he turn back to re-climbing that god awful fence like he had so boldly took on before, nope that was a one way ticket for him.
A pickle really, is what he found himself in, like being stuck between a rock and a hard place, however like some humans say where there's a will, there is a way and he wasn't about to give up on a solution just yet. Then, as if the light bulb in his head lit up, the very solution to his temporal problem having dawned upon his mind, the idea of a drainage pipe, half twisted his smile into a rather satisfying grin. Yes, that would work. How you wonder? Simple, leaving it to no chance, the boy swiveled around the area, well as best as he could considering the small edge he had been confined to work with, till sight of a few evenly spaced large AC units ones that would structurally have just what he needed and weren't too far from his current position would due well for his escape. Pulling his hands from his jacket pockets, making haste in his movements he stepped around the last corner and bee-lined it over to metal boxes. Just as he knew they would have the drainage pipes sought to directing the flow of water normally let off by a unit ran down the side of the school all the way down to the ground. Hopping over when his balance was thrown off-kilter, he gripped the poles front tightly, planted both rubber soles to the wall and slid down the bolted pipe.
The descend was rather lurch, his palm ached at the force of hitting every bracket that bolted the pipe to the wall, the cold weather not helping with the stinging effect, however Zayne rode it out. The flaps of his un-zipped jacket riding high like a parachute, his face drowning in the rushing current he would seek to putting up a façade to cover the hurt he really felt. Eyes locked on the targeted ground below he then pushed off the wall, releasing his grip, sending him into to air but only for brief moment, as he connected with the ground landing perfectly and still very much on his feet. Taking a look at his palm, he noted the abrasion made, only curling his hand making sure that he still could move it Zayne then proceeded onwards, next stop in mind but if he was to not be noticed he would have to be quick. Bolting off in a fleetly flash, Zayne took quick strides around the first building and ran towards the campus' main entrance, a raggedy looking brown bag sitting alone by the steps was his and he would need to get to it as his supplies were stashed inside.
Ducking here, twirling there, many obstacles stood like forces in his way, whether people or objects it didn't make a difference, no matter what, he was unstoppable in his approach. Running up and despite the imminent velocity of his approach he was as silent as a feather that had just recently kissed the ground. Snatching up his sack, like one would of grabbed a to-go lunch Zayne found himself quickly buckling down to then rise in a lunge that would hurl himself in an upward jump sailing over a group of girls gathered by the door chattering away, his speed having rushed on them like a sudden unexpected breeze he voiced his hurried apology for their sudden startle. "Sorry ladies!" Yet not even that incident stopped his rushing locomotion. Disappearing around the next building, Zayne slipped off in the large campus grounds eventually finding his way over to that location he found desirable just prior to all the craziness. 'Good, still no one in sight.' Relinquishing his grip on the bag once a can of paint was in his hand, he shook up it's contents and began his design, starting with a more common shape a medium sized circle. Coloring it up nicely in the hue of his choice, a bright sunny yellow.♘
