❝I don't want to change the world,
I just want to leave it colder❞.
The way it felt to fly was just magical. If it could be described in one word... Well, it couldn't be described in one word. Exhilarating, breathtaking, unreal. Examples like that hardly even came close to the feeling. Jamie found it hard to be upset when she was flying, it always helped clear her head, and it was the best feeling in the world.
Jamie, being a taller woman of almost six feet, (5'10'') obviously couldn't fly with her powers alone. No matter how much she manipulated the air, she couldn't defy gravity. So she used a small hanglider to get the job done. It was smaller and more simple than your typical hanglider, because Jamie didn't need too much extra help to get into the air.
Being obsessed with birds, she had her glider painted to match one's wingspan. In fact, any person on the ground below her might think she was a large bird if she flew high enough. Though due to changes in air pressure, She rarely went up too high.
At that moment, Jamie was flying over the ocean at pretty incredible speeds. She loved the intensity that came with the strong gusts of wind she would create every so often. Anything to make the heart rate go up. But after a few hours she noticed a thin fog starting to form. This wasn't too abnormal out in the ocean, and she figured she'd pass it in no time, but the fog only got thicker as she progressed.
In a matter of minutes, the fog was so thick, Jamie couldn't even see her own hands in front of her, hanging on for dear life. She took a moment to appreciate the small but important sense of sight that she was blessed to have. Blind people must be constantly scared as hell. she sympathized. I'm going to have to turn around.
As she glanced back down, she noticed something glowing. But it wasn't below her, as she thought at first, but it was on her person. She reached into her jacket and pulled out the key hanging on the chain around her neck. She stared at it in amazement for quite some time before looking in front of her. The fog was clearing up, and in the distance, Jamie could make out an island housing a castle-like structure.
Smiling at her key, she tucked it back away into her leather jacket and headed towards the small patch of land. The fog must have been some kind of curse. Even my strongest air current wouldn't make it budge. she concluded as she reached the edge of the island. She let herself glide along the stony steps that formed their way straight to the building's main entrance. Jamie didn't land until she was directly over the top of the stairs, she had still been going ridiculously fast, but with a quick change of the wind's direction, she made a slow and graceful landing.
Her key had quit glowing, and Jamie was surprised to see that the place looked very run down. Like no one had been there for centuries. The beginning stages of ruins. She was fascinated and unimpressed all at once. She only hoped the inside was at least in a live-able condition, or she wouldn't hesitate to turn her butt around.
❝Show me where forever dies,
take the path that leads to nowhere❞.

► Thoughts: You've got to be kidding me...
((OOC: Note; her bag is a bit larger than the one in the pic, and it's a shoulder bag.. you know, so she can use her hands on the hanglider.~
Also, why hasn't anyone posted yet?? lol...
Oh, and in case if you didn't get it from the text, her hanglider is much smaller than the one in the link... I just thought i'd give y'all a nice visual.))
