Watching the others enter at a quicked pace he took his time making it to the door made him smile slightly behind his red hair, slick with the rain water. Knowing full well that he was going to have to go to the Slytherin Common Room to change, he really didn't mind. It was worth the trip in exchange for this. Rain had always been seen as a pure and cleansing thing to him, he had always read it was so. That the rains of the sky could purify even the most unworthy of beings... though he wanted to believe that he knew it to be just another story in a fanatics book. Still, flights of fancy were fun to go on when one knew restraint.

Ri ducked inside, body drenched. She slid off her cloak, thanking god she had chosen a blue shirt that day instead of the original white one and pulled her pony tail out, hair feeling matter. "Woof."

"We'll meet you in the Great Hall Rite, and bring Owen. Okies?" she called from the stairs as she started up the stairs Meghan following shortly behind. Amberle stopped and looked around for Cassian, he hadnt appeared yet.

She nodded and turned towards the doors, cocking her head at Owen. "Um...gonna come inside?" She yelled over the rain.

"Alright" Meghan said as they reached the fatlady's portrait, after saying the password. "We'll race to see who gets to the dorm and dressed first. Ready, steady, go!" She said, running through the portrait hole, through the commonroom and up the stairs, showering everything near her path with a light shower of rain.

Nodding his head a little as he approached the door he paused for a moment to look back before he slide inside. Closing the door he had water running out of his clothes and robe at a fairly good rate onto the floor. He felt a little bad for anyone that might happen through and slip... he felt even worse for the House Elves... he'd likely cause them enough problems without dragging the storm in and onto their floor like this. Looking at the floor like that his slouch seemed to be gone for a moment, but it returned as he rotated on the ball of his foot to face Rite. "So what's up now?"

"Alright" Meghan said as they reached the fatlady's portrait, after saying the password. "We'll race to see who gets to the dorm and dressed first. Ready, steady, go!" She said, running through the portrait hole, through the commonroom and up the stairs, showering everything near her path with a light shower of rain.

Amberle laughed and tramped up the stairs after her, soaking wet still and feeling a little guilty she was getting everything wet. She raced into the room, ringing her hair out and grabbing her brush to comb it quickly. After she did that she slipped into warm dry clothes, checking herself quickly in the mirror and then headed for the commonroom.

Meghan stripped off her wet clothes, and replaced them with a sundress with jeans underneath. Running back to the commonroom while retying her hair, she stopped right behind Lee. "Well, you won." She said, catching her breath. "I feel like an escapade to the actual kitchen. Its more homey there, a nicer place to drink hot cocoa."

"We're being forced to change and meet them in the great hall. We'll probably choose a commonroom to snuggle down in with some hotchocolate." She smiled at the idea. It sounded nice, like something she used to do with her step-dad, wraped up in his big arms. "Should I tag with you to slytherin as you change and than you to hufflepuff, or meet up in the hall?"

"Ha I triumph!" she giggled and grabbed Megs arm pulling her out the portrait hole and down the stairs. "The kitchen sounds good to, lets round up the others and get some hot chocolate and pudding." she laughed.

"Alrighty. I guess we should consult on where we'll drink the hot cocoa with the others before any final decisions...well, Great hall it is. Race yeh there!" She said, having finally caught her breath. She ran ahead to the staircase, and slid down the railing of every last one, until she reached the great hall.

She said, having finally caught her breath. She ran ahead to the staircase, and slid down the railing of every last one, until she reached the great hall.

Amberle raced after Meghan smiling, she was happy and feeling terribly snuggly, she wished that Cassian was around. She raced down the stairs, not accustomed to sliding down banisters. She reached the Great Hall a little behind Meghan gasping for air.

"You.....are......to....fast." she said taking deep breaths and laughing.
