Tralee, Ireland, located in County Kerry, is the place to be when you're a tourist. And no matter what time of year it is, there's always something for you to do. There's six families that everyone knows in this town.
The Maguire's who own about 3/4 of the pubs you see around town. The son is a raging alcoholic and almost every night you'll find him drunk. Consider yourself lucky if you're ever around him sober.
The McGillicuddy's own the four star hotel, Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa. Their hotel is the place to stay when you're visiting. Here's a secret, their daughter is pregnant. Though she hasn't said anything. She plans on keeping it a secret for as long as she can. But she can only make so many excuses about the sickness waves that hit her... What's daddy's little girl doing with a bun in the oven?
Then there's the Cunningham's who own the other tour company, they're constantly battling with the O'Rourke's. So it's safe to say that those families aren't on speaking terms unless they're yelling about how stupid the other is. Their girl is the star athlete around town. And not by choice, her parents have forced her into doing anything and everything, and she's getting tired of it.
The Higgins' basically come from money, the grandfather started Higgins' industries fifty years ago, and at his passing, the father took over, and the family hardly ever sees him these days. The girl is about as bitchy as they come. Very few put up with her, and most only deal with her because she's stinking rich. Money will only get you so far in life, honey.
An then there's the White's their family owns the best coffee shop in town. They're hardly ever not busy, it's the local hangout for most the teens. Their son is a total sweetheart, and a beautiful musician. Ninety percent of the girls in town have a huge crush on him. Gorgeous, smart, handsome, AND talented? He's just the full package. Better cut you off a piece of that.
The O'Rourke's who run a touring company that will take you to some of the most breath taking sites in Country Kerry. About four months ago, the O'Rourke's had their youngest son go missing. There's been no leads on the case and the mother has gone into a deep depression because of it. Their older son has been acting out a lot lately because of this. The whole town is worried for the family. Something like this has never happened and no one exactly knows how to handle it. The family wants to believe that the child is still alive, but the local authority is saying that the child was probably lost at sea and the family should come to the realization that the body will probably never be found.
