I am STRICTLY against GC, i don't support the GC system and refuse to buy it. Last time i spent $1 on gaia was to get entered into that platinum ticket raffle that they NEVER held crying
any Tier items or Cash shop items were all given to me by friends to help with my platinum ticket quest. I dont pay attention to the tier rewards or the cash shop.
Well the market has been very good to me. Having 6000 items in my inventory, my account worth usually fluctuates by inflating in my favor, like you said, small little items have started to inflate since they are cheap to buy with GC and you dont have to convert the Gc to Gold. I believe High dollar items like halos Dj's ext will also stay high because people can ust buy them for Gc instead of vending for months like i had to rofl
eek Really? Woah. I should apologize then. I guess I've just assumed it was impossible to become a trillionaire - quadrillionaire on Gaia without spending on GC.. even more-so now that GC is on the Marketplace. But yeah, you do have many item, plus you've probably been at it for a while, gaining experience and snowballing funds, etcetera . (Myself, I've tried it, but I'm not great at it - I get too attached to what I buy - because I only buy stuff I at least like in case I make a bad choice and I end up at a loss - and I rarely sell because it might inflate and I wont be able to buy again.)I'll bet good vendors are the type who could sell their favourite items with confidence when it's really high and wait 'til the price drops and then buy it back.
For me, the Market (and it's graphs) be like a roller-coaster. Sometimes, I have no idea if the item I'm selling/buying is going to be cheaper/expensive the next day. Of course, I'm not the best at reading the market, but if you sit on an item long enough it's bound to be worth more eventually
...of course that depends on how attractive-looking is the item. I find ugly things don't sell quite like they used to since Gaia has started mass-producing items. Though I would think the mass-producing would be a good thing. Like, more variety means items won't be able to inflate as quickly? Because if there are 100's of legs pose items, I'd think that a person who wants one will go for the cheap ones, forcing the more expensive ones to go cheaper. 3nodding
