I'm sure you liked him at one point, or you would not have been with him in the first place.
Maybe you can stay friends? I know sometimes that is hard, but sometimes it works.

Changes: I'm not a fan of the hair/eyebrows or mouth. also it'd be cool if you could bulk it up a bit. It doesn't have to be exactly like the picture, that's just the basic idea. Also, I need an animal companion XD
