Gaians don't make GGNs (Gaia Guild Networks), there is one GGN that is comprised of many guilds.
More traffic, to a comparable percentage of other site areas and features.
If you have ever played in site building, bandwidth. They want us to cost more to host. (Seems backwards but somehow makes sense.) The GGN is all on separate servers than the other forums, I'm sure that when they said more GGN traffic they meant that, not more big guilds or a higher posts per user in all the guilds.
Now the member and post numbers go down when posts are deleted and members leave, which should have fix the dead guilds problem. My guild seems to perpetually be on page 3 of roleplaying, while I just checked today and page one was all small and new guilds, and page 2 had most of what is usually page one and two. Sad. Usually when I check the dedicated school is page one, the other one page two and mine page three, kinda funny and impressive in its precision.
Kirimoru-WO is awesome. He always has been and always will be. He is so awesome that he was born awesome and before he was born his unborn self was already so awesome that his mother had so much awesome she had a sparkily layer of awesome over her skin. Everything he posts is pure awesome for the purpose of that text being followed and worshiped. That is all.
As per your first comment...yes....I know.
Well it seems like circular logic logic to me, I believe that a way to get more people in there (as well as to get current members to post more) would be to advertise the GGN. I think if they put time in the GGN, more members would go.
How are people (especially the demographic we are attracting nowadays) going to see the GGNs potential or better yet, WANT to see it if the devs have it on the backburner. If devs have it on the backburner, that's showing the people that that is one of the least important "projects" that the devs have to work on (which supports your saying that it's backwards and furthermore ironic that they have us on our own servers). Now, as true as that may be, the GGN isn't even in queue. I mean, that like having a secret cove that you want people to go to but refuse to put up a billboard about it, let alone, make the cove itself a more desirable place to be.
And, yes, WindowOpener is probably one of the greatest people on Gaia to ever grace us with his presence...in fact, I don't feel worthy talking about him right now...
Twas a pleasure to be in the same guild with him indeed...
