Overall Personality
♆ At first glance, Kaimani seems to be a very refined young princess. She is elegant, and always wearing priceless jewelry. What else would you really expect from royalty though? Only the finest for her. Still, there's something a bit odd about this princess. For one thing, she's not really the helpless type. Kaimani is in fact very wise, always giving advice to her subjects and others who seek help. Rather than the usual stuck-up ruler, she's very kind. Kaimani will occasionally let her position get to her head, but it's not often. When it does, it's mostly because of a respect issue. She really doesn't like being talked down to.

♆ Even though Kaimani seems to be near perfect, she of course has some flaws. Because she is from the deep blue, her culture is much different from those up on the surface. While Kaimani does have a pretty solid understanding of everything, occasionally she will come across something that she doesn't understand. This could be anything from how some things work and how things are spoken. One such example is appearance. Kaimani will dress very regal, even in a casual setting. The only exception to this case though is even weirder. Where she comes from, it's not uncommon to be nude. If someone were to walk in while changing, Kaimani probably wouldn't flinch. She also prefers to undress before swimming, making for some either awkward or sexy moments. Depends on how you take it. Just because she doesn't care if you see her body though, doesn't mean you can go touching it though. That's crossing the line, even in her culture. So don't go thinking that she's easy.

♆ When you get down to Kaimani's core, her usual outgoing confidence will shed. She knows that she doesn't know all the answers and fears that people will be outraged when there's a problem she can't solve. Not only that, but Kaimani is also battling her own demons when it comes to her transformation. She's worried that she'll hurt someone. Kaimani doesn't want to endanger anyone that's close to her. That doesn't mean though that she won't fight if she has to though...or if someone really pisses her off. Only time will tell if she will overcome her fears. For now though, Kaimani is very content with her life.

Backstory
♆ Long ago in a waterfall protected paradise, Kaimani was born to the King and Queen of the Kaidra Clan. They were a very mysterious race of humanoid creatures with some very fish-like attributes. Many would call them by a different name. Still, named after the tribe itself, Kaimani was the most beautiful princess ever born. She was more human that most of the tribe, though still sporting the trademark fins of her clan. Kaimani was destined for greatness. The King and Queen were very proud of their daughter, never thinking that anything could possibly go wrong. This wouldn't be the case though.

♆ Before the young princess was even old enough to start swimming on her own, an unfortunate event occurred. A very powerful dark lord wished to rule all the land. Before he was stopped by a brave hero, he had managed to place a curse upon the world. It had reached the young princess. Though still very beautiful, young Kaimani was now feared. The curse had managed to manifest itself by turning the princess into a horrible beast, one that would reek havoc over all of the Kaidra clan. It was during one of these rampages that the King and Queen were killed, Kaimani never knowing what she had done. Still, those close to the royal family watched after the girl, even though they feared that one day it would happen all over again. In time though, they managed to find a way to keep her gruesome transformation at bay. This did not silence the public's opinion about the girl though.

♆ As Kaimani grew older, the public was growing very fearful of their princess. She was a very kind princess, but at the same time the curse was still in effect. If just a toddler had managed to kill half the clan in a single night, then surely a full grown mistress could destroy them all in mere seconds. The high priests of course denied this claim. Still, even they worried. Kaimani was aware of her transformation by this point in time. She understood fully why everyone feared her, but still never knew the truth about her parent's death. So when Kaimani overheard the priests' concerns, she volunteered to leave the clan. For the safety of her people, Kaimani would leave until a time in which the curse was broken.

♆ Now on her own, Kaimani would be forced to make her own decisions. She faced many trials, keeping the beast inside at bay. Kaimani had to at all costs. If she was to ever to return home without the curse being lifted, she would endanger everyone she cares about. Meanwhile, the priests and other members of her clan still send her letters. They still worship their princess like a god, even though they know what she really is. They also hope that one day she can return. Everyone awaits the day that their beloved princess will return to them.

Transformation - The Curse

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

Zelda Version
♆ Swimming. It's one of the most pronounced abilities of any Zora. Their whole being is designed around it. Unfortunately, Kaimani's curse has rendered her ability to swim useless. For if the young princess so much as touches the water's surface, she will be transformed into a vicious sea beast. No amount of coaxing will be able to calm her appetite.

♆ The transformation is very quick. As she's engulfed in water, the first thing to form is her ginormous tail. Soon the girl's whole body will blow up to the size of a full-grown dragon. It's a very painful process for the girl. This might actually be what enrages the beast to begin with. This is not for certain though. It could just be the dark magic from the curse.

♆ When it comes to a cure, one has not been found yet. The beast must be defeated or tired out to the point where it can't cope anymore. The last time Kaimani transformed, she was nearly killed in the process. Turning into such a monster really takes a tole on her small body. After, she may be rendered useless and sick for the next for weeks.

Regular RP Version
♆ Kaimani's curse is triggered by two things. Water, and moonlight. It is not specific to any kind of moonlight. She does not need the light of a full moon in order to transform, unlike werewolves. As long as the light of the moon hits the surface of the water, she will change if she enters it. If the light is not present, the only thing that will occur is that her fins will grow slightly longer. Her nails have been known to sharpen as well.

♆ The transformation is very quick. As she's engulfed in water, the first thing to form is her ginormous tail. Soon the girl's whole body will blow up to the size of a full-grown dragon. She has to be exposed in daylight in order to change back. After changing back, Kaimani will be very weak. Her body will be soar and she can easily get sick if left unattended. If taken care of though, Kaimani will make a full recovery rather quickly.

♆ Great Swimmer: Being part fish, swimming comes naturally to Kaimani.
♆ Lots of Stamina: She exercises a lot. (Swims), so she doesn't run out of energy too often.
♆ Can't Suffocate: Has gills, therefore she doesn't drown, and human lungs allows her to walk on land.
♆ Great Singer: (Siren) Based off the siren race.
♆ Natural Beauty: Comes with being a princess.

Unnatural Abilities
♆ Transformation: From the curse of course.
♆ Water Blasting: (Dragon) Like fire breathing but water based.
♆ Creating Whirlpools: Helps with fast travel, defense.
♆ Razor Fins: Can stiffen her fins, making them razor sharp. Works for a good offence.
♆ Echo Location: Specifically with her siren songs. They allow her to find others, or help them find her.
♆ General Control of Water: She is a water creature after all.
♆ Air Bubbles: To keep herself from getting wet, or to make sure her guests can breathe.

Weaknesses
♆ Dry Air: Her scales will dry out.
♆ Running: A good way to drain her massive stamina. Her legs were made for swimming, not sprinting.
♆ Changing Back: Takes a huge tole on her body.
♆ Sashimi: Too delicious to resist.
♆ Culture: Surface people are so different than her own kind.
♆ Romance: All princesses want their knight in shining armor.
♆ Electricity: Doesn't mix well with water.

♆ Cooking: Kaimani can make some mean sushi...but that's about it. She has great knife skills, but not much else.

♆ Nets: Not to be racist or anything...but somehow she always manages to get tangled up in these!
♆ Stupidity: Mostly when others think she's dumb just because she's not from there.
