With the use of The Timer you will know the day you are destined to meet your soul mate.The Timer is a small analog device that is attached to your wrist (Warning: You'll only feel a small pinch). Once The Timer has been connected, and so long as your soul mate, where ever they may be, has also received a Timer an analog countdown will begin to the day you two are truly destined to meet. Note: The device does not predict to the second when you will meet your soul mate only til the day of. Once eye contact is made with that special someone a little jingle will ring from your Timer and you two can then be sure; this is the person you were born to be with.

ღ There is the slight chance that your soul mate has yet to receive their own Timer. This new marvel of technology is fresh out of the market and thus is still being widely distributed. However, do not be discourage thousands of Timers are activated every day! So, until that moment your soul mate has their Timer attached, your own will be blank. The second their Timer is received, the count down will begin.

ღ The Timer now comes with a guarantee! With the use of the Timer heart break and divorce shouldn't be a worry! Dating is now a thing of the past. I mean, why date when you can be sure.

Sunnydale University Chicago: is a four-year, coeducational institution of higher learning located in the Uptown Chicago. This school specializes in engineering and science majors. Though they do offer other lesser known programmers they have a higher graduation rate for engineering and science majors.

Rose Village: these apartments are located in the nicest part of town, within walking distance of a few restaurants and Sunnydale University of Chicago. Rent can be a bit pricey though discounts are given to responsible college students and teachers. Adrian lives in these apartments.

Palladium Penthouse Apartments: is a rich and luxurious apartment only available to the elite class. Every floor is equipped with six bedrooms in this 14,000-square-foot unit. The most impressive among the 104 condos offered by the building, the penthouse boasts high ceilings, 10-foot by 10-foot windows (for residents to adequately enjoy the stunning views from 1,200 feet high up in the sky), oak floors, marble worktops, and heated bathroom floors. The building also has its share of perks, including a gym, a 75-foot-pool, and a massage therapy room, as well the option to purchase a climate-controlled wine cellar. Emil lives here.

Richmond Apartments: This is where Akiva lives.

Roscoe's Tavern: Neighborhood gay & lesbian bar dating back to 1987 with a dance floor, pool table & outdoor spaces.

Lakeview Plaza: Situated in Uptown and with a magnificent view of Lake Michigan, the Lakeview Plaza resort is the ultimate tourist hotel in Chicago. Featuring quite a few restaurants, wi-fi, an arcade, a pool (and a pool-hall), the magnificent structures boasts twenty-five floors. However, it's crowning jewel (quite literally even) is the Skyline Ballroom, which sits upon the 25 floor with immense vaulted glass windows that offers a view from all directions. Arin works here.

Issei Jingu: A fairly modern-looking Japanese restaurant owned and managed by Issei. The fusion of traditional and modern decor represents the two worlds that the restaurant brings together (West Side)

Issei's residence: The property's previous owner gave Issei the floor above the restaurant to use as living quarters. It's kept fairly neat most of the time, and the decor represents the spirit of traditional Japan. (West Side)

Fenton Apartments: The apartment complex Chris lives at. It's livable for college students or recent graduates, but not recommended for families due to the more compact nature of its rooms. (South Side)

Mercy Hospital and Medical Center: is a hospital that combines world-class medicine with compassion, convenience and an undeniable spirit that sets us apart. Cameron occasionally works there. (South Side)

The Spoke & Bird: is a small corner café that serves coffee and simple meals. Jeremy frequent spends time at the café, since it close to work and his home. (South Side)

Seoda Cré: a quaint little mom and pop flower shop where Jeremy works. There is also a decent size apartment over the shop where Jeremy lives with his boyfriend Eamon. (South Side)

Moments in Tempus: Ido and Lily's home as well as Ido's work place. There is an apartment on the second floor while on the main floor is the photo studio with everything Ido needs for taking, developing, and editing. (North Side)

Café et Gâteau: a quaint cafe where the staff treats you like family. It has something for every, but it's especially popular with the students from the near bye college. The cafe's specializes in French, Latino, and Sicilian desserts and serves specialty coffees and teas. What it looks like This is were Owen and Javier work.

Santino's Mexican Sports Bar: Dylan's old workplace. The management is crap, and the food is a step above the frozen aisle in quality. University of Chicago students are sometimes seen there getting drunk off of their minds.

McKinsey Apartments: Dylan's old apartment complex. It is the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of quality, but its prices would make any graduating student with loans do a double-take. The landlord is notorious for aggressively underpricing the available spaces, and it shows in the quality (or lack thereof) of the rooms.

University of Chicago: Storied, research-centric private school known for its medical & economics programs & scenic campus.

Devil’s Den: A run down yet well-kept and somewhat secret strip joint/ club. Any kind of drug/service is sold and bought here. If you need to make a quick buck why not try throwing up your fists in the basement which is normally password protected to save the anonymous members that will throw their money where they see fit. While the women aren't the main event, you can even purchase their time for the right price, a perfect place for someone that wants to forget or maybe even remember.

The Priss has always been privileged, or at least believed that he was. Nothing was too good for him, but there was much in the world that was unworthy. He's all about higher fairs of society, fashion, designer everything and setting trends.So naturally when the Timer first came out, he had to have one. On the other end, the Punk is your average street brat all for giving the society the middle finger and doing as he pleases. After meeting, the bad boy and the priss realize they have nothing in common. Maybe The Timer messed up, or maybe the two just need to realizes their differences complete each other. Easier said then done as they push each others buttons and are constantly at odds over everything.

Panicked he stops the first person to pass by and though he had only meant to ask for direction, there was no mistaking the chime of the Timer's alarm. You know stories of great deeds done by the police officers that run the city. But what you never hear about is the help that is used quite often. You see when a person sicks a court date a bounty is put up for their arrest, normally the cops take all the credit but most of the hard work is done by Mister Bounty Hunter. He's pretty well known for what he does and if lady fate wasn't such a b***h then maybe he would still be in a relationship with his ex, the same ex that took half his s**t and got him thrown off the police force. The Bounty Hunter was once a cop but after a dirty fight with his ex and a couple too many shots of alcohol his small fight became a fist throwing public disturbance. The Bounty Hunter lives paycheck to paycheck however when a Bounty comes up to arrest his Ex, well who wouldn't say no to such a glorious occasion. The Ex has his own problems too no doubt, like having to go to court to begin with let alone skipping out of it. What could be worse than being a fugitive of the state? Your damn Ex being the one who's hunting you down. Despite trying to burying him in the past -even falling back on getting a Timer just to prove to himself that his once Cop boyfriend just wasn't mister right- the jerk still finds his way back into his life. What will happen when the two meet under much different circumstances and have their timers go off? On each other no less! Will old flames rekindle between the two as the chase continues? Or will their new roles drive them apart.

Only those who seek it out or live by it day to day acknowledge what's going on in the shadows of the city. Money, drugs sex and murder. It's a dark life and for some, like the courtesan, it's all they've ever really known. Still a living is a living even if it's earned through less than moral means. On the other end of the spectrum the straight-laced is a community favorite, being an all around good person. He leads a social life of helping around where he can. The man typically spends his spare time volunteering locally or when there is the opportunity, assisting with charity events. How will these two cope with each other when they live in two vastly different worlds?

The world sucks. It's full of danger and disease and worst yet an endless amount of people. The shut-in would rather not deal with all of that and is most comfortable staying at home. With the ever evolving technology of modern society, he has little need to venture out as everything he could ever possibly want or need can be conveniently delivered to his door. The Outdoors Man in particular doesn't concern himself with all the fancy, complicated and overly priced hunks of tech. He'd rather get out of the house and explore what the world has to offer. Be it a simple day in the park, or lengthy hike or even backpacking in the mountains. Enjoying life to the fullest is his primary joy. By no means does that mean he lives in medieval times, he still uses modern tech, but isn't glued to or dependent on it. What will happen when these two polar opposites come together? Can the Outdoors Man coax his soul mate into seeing the world outside the screens? Will he have the patience to even try? And will the shut-in be able to be socialize long enough to build a relationship with the other?

The plan was an easy one. Pretend to be gay and seriously in a relationship, at least that way the press would calm down with all the rumors and photos.. right? The problem is how do you find a person to just take a deal like that without them wanting to actually be serious? That is the trick question, the way you get someone to agree is by bribing them! Besides, the celebrity has the money so why not! The celebrity has an image to uphold after all, he's tried of all the press and the talk of him being seen with this person and that person because of his player like flings. His whole career is stressed with perfection and success, hell he's been around the media since childhood so he can't let his name be hurt now when he's finally getting the big name. So, when the idea of having a fake serious partner comes to mind the celebrity jumps at the idea. This is how he can get the press and the media off his back so he can enjoy his fame the right way. However, what will happen when the person he's bribing turns out to be his 'soul-mate' all because of some stupid timer? The Average Joe is obviously like any other person just struggling to get by in this ever expensive world. He needs the money to pay off his debts but what is he suppose to do about the feelings that are developing? Can the celebrity convince his victim to just stick to the fake relationship so he can have his fun or is l-o-v-e in the air?

Having stayed up late cramming, he wakes up late the next day to find he'd missed his entire class. Hoping to make up the credits he visits the teacher once the school day has ended to ask for the lesson. The Teacher is forgiving enough to review it with him, yet there is an unexpected disruption. Except it to his surprise it wasn't his current lover. On the way home he'd clumsily bumped into another and their Timers went off. The play boy is naturally a player, he's out practically every night drinking, flirting and screwing around he is by no means relationship material. He got his Timer after losing a bet.

He won't let himself think about love because he's too busy with business affairs and trying to please his father- which leads him into getting a timer against his will. What happens when a successful business man is destined for a lower class drifter.

Once upon a time ago the Netstar was just your average Joe setting his opinions and interest out for the world to see. It wasn't too long before he'd gained quite the following. Working through all sorts of media including the staple sites such as facebook, tumblr, youtube and instagram the man had made himself into a well known internet star. So when the Timers hit the market, the Netstar was one of the first to sport it eager to feature its count down to his fans. The Pornstar on the other hand isn't difficult to figure out. The man has sex for a living though he's not widely famous like a handful of his co-stars. Yet he doesn't seem to mind that very much. Nothings more awkward than "Hey aren't you that one guy?" or "Weren't you in that one skinflick?" or his favorite "Didn't you plow 'so and so' " from a complete stranger in the middle of public. While the Porn scene is certainly hot its also very meaningless. Just another job. Tired of his relationships being "just another job" the Pornstar bought a timer in the hope of finding someone he could connect with beyond just mind blowing sex. Coincidentally once a week the Netstar hosts an open forum that usually ends of in the Adult realm which was how the he became familiarized with the pornstar. What will happen when he actually meets him in the flesh and what more are destined to be? The handler has always been the best in the business when it comes to knowing who can fight well, with his sly words he's able to get his fighters to sign pretty much anything just by talking up how much money they will make. But, the handler starts to care less for the fight as he gets a timer one night while drunk. Of course, before the millionaire can awaken the slum dog slips out with out even a note. Weeks pass the millionaire still can't get whoever this high class person was out of his mind, using all his powers to try and find him with no real results. The millionaire gives up his search and the slum dog keeps the best night of his life as just a secret only he will know. For who, can get away with something so devilishly sneaky and deceiving? Though it's difficult to find someone that is quiet and reliable enough to allow him to work but also doesn't mind his unstable fluctuating income and life. Fun would be another nice trait but stick in the mud Sell-Out will have to do. Maybe the Sell-out had a dream once but if he did he wrote it off as fantasy. He lived the unstable life for a bit watching his sibling try to make it with no money coming in but when nobody walked up and recognized their amazing talents and offering them a high paying contract they gave up. The Sell-Out didn't repeat those mistakes. He went to school and got a job, maybe he kept up with his hobby but work was more important and now he is being promoted and transferred. Lucky he found an apartment. It's clean, big and beautiful. It was too good to be true, being that he has to live with the annoying dreamer that lives there. The underground fights are held at undisclosed locations and are only heard about from word of mouth. Some of the fighters start to crave their freedom again but are stuck under contract, an unbreakable contract. The handler has always been the best in the business when it comes to knowing who can fight well, with his sly words he's able to get his fighters to sign pretty much anything just by talking up how much money they will make. But, the handler starts to care less for the fight as he gets a timer one night while drunk. Of course, Lady Fate is a cruel b***h as it seems his newest fighter seems to have a timer himself, so what will happen when the tables are turned and the handler now has to deal with his supposed 'soul mate' going into the ring? During a simple errand run, all the fun the slum dog has start to go against him as the millionaire walks in on him while trying on one of the actual room renters suits. It's classic and has a rather high price tag, which catches the millionaires eye no doubt. The millionaire is bummed by his private service following him around and invites the male out for a drink and to shoot pool. The slum dog can't believe his karma when the millionaire is not only showing him of all people attention but also paying for his drinks. After drunken night on the town, the slum dog is forced to help the millionaire back to his president suite as he tries his best not to get caught by his boss. With the mix of alcohol come a whirl of emotions as the millionaire and the slum dog end up in a heated affair. Of course, before the millionaire can awaken the slum dog slips out with out even a note. Weeks pass the millionaire still can't get whoever this high class person was out of his mind, using all his powers to try and find him with no real results. The millionaire gives up his search and the slum dog keeps the best night of his life as just a secret only he will know. For who, can get away with something so devilishly sneaky and deceiving? Of course, fate has it out for the slum dog as not only does he run into the millionaire again but this time it's a different kind of meeting and while trying to keep his identity hidden from the rich male all he ends up doing is setting off the others timer in a mix up of an up planned eye lock. Is the millionaire going crazy when he can't help but think he knows this slum dog worker? Will the slum dog be able to get past his social status to even try and allow a relationship with male? And what will the media even begin to think?!

How many people really make it? Become that singer, actor, novelist or maybe even costume maker that they dreamed of being. Well not many but Success Story did. He has made his dream a reality and turned his cosplay and clothes making hobby into his career. But like most far fetched dreams its not exactly stable money. He has a great big apartment with an extra bedroom available. While he makes enough to cover rent, since his old roommate left things have gotten tight after all to make money you have to spend money and without a roommate his work just got that much harder. Though it's difficult to find someone that is quiet and reliable enough to allow him to work but also doesn't mind his unstable fluctuating income and life. Fun would be another nice trait but stick in the mud Sell-Out will have to do. Maybe the Sell-out had a dream once but if he did he wrote it off as fantasy. He lived the unstable life for a bit watching his sibling try to make it with no money coming in but when nobody walked up and recognized their amazing talents and offering them a high paying contract they gave up. The Sell-Out didn't repeat those mistakes. He went to school and got a job, maybe he kept up with his hobby but work was more important and now he is being promoted and transferred. Lucky he found an apartment. It's clean, big and beautiful. It was too good to be true, being that he has to live with the annoying dreamer that lives there. However the location is perfect, rent is reasonable and its something the sell-out can put up with it for a year until he is transferred again or finds a better place. Yet what happens when these two disconnected roommates suddenly find they are meant to be? Will the sell-out find himself inspired again by his roommate? or does the successful dreamer come to doubt himself? Ultimate can they get along together or will the Sell-Out up and bail as he planned to?
