Mateo has a wiry build, standing at 5'10" and weighing 157 lbs. He has dark brown
hair and dark brown eyes. He portrays himself as a confident leader, which he is,
but he relaxes this demeanor when he is completely alone.

Observant: He is quick to notice things, and he picks up on small details that people
tend to overlook. He also carefully observes before he makes a move in whatever
situation he may be in.
Poised: He has an air of confidence, but not usually to the point of cockiness. Rather,
he seems prepared to face anything, as if he is going to go on defense at any moment.
He is definitely suited to be the Keeper for the Slytherin Quidditch team.
Well-spoken: He is neither quiet nor overly talkative. He has little trouble with making
conversation or speaking in a refined manner when needed.

Mateo practically raised himself, with his parents pointing him in a direction before
they expected him to take care of the rest, or 'tough love' as they called it. Mateo
learned of his status as a pureblood wizard, and he was not sure what to think of
it at first. He was perfectly fine with heading off to Hogwarts, though.
During his first few years, Mateo transitioned easily into the school, and he fit
right into Slytherin, although he couldn't be bothered with the whole debate on
muggle-born versus half-bloods and purebloods. If he was going to have an issue
with someone, it would be personal and not simply because of status. In any case,
he was focused on improving himself.
Mateo entered his sixth year as the Quidditch captain, and he strives to continue
his success in his final year no matter what it takes.
