Fire: He dislikes fire because it hurts. His back can prove it. That was one of the reasons he got the tattoo to hide the scars. Fire creates warmth and can be a good thing, he knows that and appreciates it. Yet that doesn't mean he has to like it.
The Cold: It makes him think about everything. A lot of people would think it would give a calm peace of mind, but it just pulls him down into a lonely and cold place in his heart. A place he tries very hard to fill with warmth, but every-time he puts something in it, it gets bigger. So he dislikes the cold for reminding him of how alone he truly is.
Violence: Abuse, be it Mental, Physical, Animal, Child, Woman, Sexual, Spousal, or just in general. Speaking from personal experience, it sucks and he hates it. He doesn't see a point to violence, he thinks its pointless and will achieve nothing.
The Dark: He can't sleep, and is always on high alert. He dislikes it because it makes him hyper aware of his surroundings and possible threats that could be lurking just out of sight. Since he only has one good eye its even worse.
Thunderstorms: Fall's under his fear of loud noises. He likes the rain, but the thunder scares him. He dislikes it because it always makes him jump and tremble even when he is trying to appear like nothing is wrong. He just really dislikes feeling so nervous.
Rumors/Gossip: Paranoid that people are whispering about him. Self conscious that they can see his bruises and are spreading rumors about how they happened to fine there way onto Andrew. Always feeling eyes on him sends him over the edge and into a full blown panic.

Helping People: If someone or something is hurt, he is the first one there. Helping in whatever way he can until the professionals show up. Bedside company, bandage changing, food runs, homework runs, he does it all to make sure you have an easy, and relaxing recovery. Not sick or injured, that is fine he is also a good listener and if you just need a study buddy, well he's good there to.
Family: Out of his family he cares mostly for his baby brother. They share a bond that some might frown upon for siblings, but he doesn't care. His Father and Mother he loves as well with all his heart and even if those feelings are not returned he would give up everything just to make them proud of him.
Friends: Most of his friends have already graduated. The ones he has left though are all just as dear to him as the ones that left. Loyalty runs in his veins and when no one else is there he makes it a point to be there. He would die for his friends.
Quidditch: He joined the Quidditch team in his third year, but dropped out during the second half of his fifth year due to injury. He really loved playing with everyone, but has accepted that he will never play again. That doesn't mean he stopped liking it.
All manner of Beasts: Magical or non Magical he loves them all. From a Spider to a Hypogryph. Next to healing others, he enjoys doctoring the beasts as well.
The Library: It is a nice quiet well lit area. He feels safe in the Library and usually enjoys spending most of his time there reading medical books. It is the only place he can really let loose.

Andrew, above all else wants to protect his family and friends. Help them realize there goals and dreams would give him a sense of accomplishment. Yet, if he were to be selfish, what he really wants, more than anything for himself. He wants to become a doctor. Heal the sick and injured, make sure that everyone is given a second chance when they need it. Even if he only has one eye, his passion has always been to help others.

His Father: When he was little, before he got accepted to Hogwarts he had a wonderful relationship with his father. The man was the perfect role model. However, when he got accepted, his whole world changed. His father, became mean and cruel. Beating Andrew for the smallest things. He couldn't even stand to look at his son. It was worse before Ambroise was accepted into Hogwarts. The beatings continued though, just less often, but when they happened they were bad. Because he has been beaten so often he now fears his father.
Loud Noises: The years of abuse took there tole. Making the young Hufflepuff afraid of the slightest loud noise. Terrified that he would get a beating soon after. At school was especially bad, because he couldn't see his father but a part of him still feared the man would appear after every loud noise and beat him.
The Dark: After loosing vision in his left eye, the dark had become a lot more sinister. Terrified to even so much as breath. He cannot sleep without there being at least one candle on in the room.
Death: He loves his friends and family so much, and fears them dying, yet he fears himself dying the most. Everyday he feels like it might be his last day. Especially with the older he gets. Now that he is Eighteen a weight has been lifted but that fear of death at the hands of someone he loves still haunts his dreams.

*⋮ ❛ BACKGROUND

Rebecca Prince and Rubin Masters, two people who didn't even like each other, married for the sake of keeping the bloodlines pure. It wasn't like they were repulsive or terrifying on the contrary they were actually pretty decent people. Rubin was about to inherit his fathers company, while Rebecca had found herself in the lap of luxury without a care in the world. They ended up with there first child, a boy they named Andrew pretty late into there marriage. Rubin didn't want to deal with a child while he was getting used to his new role in the company. When things had cooled down he and Rebecca got to work.
Rubin was excited he had a son to carry on his families name. Rebecca was proud that she had bore a pure blood child. The rest of her family was overjoyed as well. The lines would continue in this child. They loved him, and showered him with everything a baby could need or want and then some. When he was four years old his mother had gotten pregnant again. They were curious if perhaps this time it would be a daughter, but instead another son was born. It was not a disappointment though. Both parents were overjoyed to be able to prolong the line of there houses.
That was where things took a turn. Rebecca wanted to make one of the boys a Prince instead of a Masters. Rubin rejected that idea and the two ended up in a huge fight. A few months later Rebecca and Rubin got a divorce. She fled somewhere without writing or saying where she was going. Leaving both boys with there father. When Andrew turned 11 and the letter from Hogwarts arrived, Rubin rushed his son to Diagon Ally to buy all the supplies he would need. He made sure he bought the best of the best. Than they ended up in the wand shop.
If Andrew had known that this would be the domino to knock over all the others he wouldn't have ever entered the shop. They tried every want they could that Rubin wanted. Yet the wand that chose him was a Rosewood wand. The mere mention of the wand pissed his father off. He thought it was a joke and demanded a better wand. Yet none of them bonded with Andrew like the Rosewood did. Furious Rubin took his son to the train and told him to write. Rubin had nodded and boarded the train.
He had met several interesting people on the train, and they enjoyed the journey immensely. When it came to the sorting hat he was placed in Hufflepuff. Andrew didn't know at the time, but when he father found out he was furious. His anger and disappointment leading him to drink. It was during the middle of the year break when Rubin beat his son for the first time. It happened every year after. Intense beatings that left Andrew bruised and bleeding.
The worst was the summer of his fifth year. He had been getting ready to go back to school and he was helping Ambroise with his homework when his father, for no reason other than being drunk stormed in and yanked him by the hair out into the hallway. Hitting him and punching him until Andrew fell to the floor. Than Rubin started kicking him. He kicked him a little to hard in the head and ended up blinding Andrew's left eye. Andrew had been hospitalized for months. When he finally was able to return to school he had not only missed half the year. He also had to quit Quidditch.
So he chose to repeat the fifth year. His father still beats him. Yet Andrew takes it. He takes it so Ambroise is safe, and because a part of himself believes he deserves it. He also doesn't want to get his father into trouble. The man may hurt him all the time, but he was still his father, and still demanded Andrews loyalty. Now Andrew is Eighteen and in his final year of Hogwarts.

Prince Family Origins
Prince is the surname of a pure-blood wizarding family. The only known family member to be disowned by the Prince family was Eileen Prince. She had married a Muggle man and had a half-blood son. She was the black sheep in the family while her sister, Rebecca Prince. The mother to Andrew and Ambroise had married into another wealthy pure blood family. The two sisters had an elder brother Benjamin Prince who ended up being killed when he was only twenty four. Ending the Prince line with Rebecca since she took her husbands last name. The Prince family consisted of mostly Slytherin, or Ravenclaw graduates. There were never any Hufflepuff's or Griffindor's in the Prince Family Legacy.
Masters is the surname of another pure-blood wizarding family. Made up of mostly males. Four brothers to be exact. The eldest Adrian Masters was a skilled wizard who now sits on the wizarding council. The twins Ethan and Edward Masters followed there dreams all the way to Romania. Than there was the youngest, Rubin Masters. He took over his families business and married Rebecca Prince. Siring two sons to carry on his families name. Rubin is a stern and imposing father. Especially since he had sons. Slytherin, and Griffindor mostly run in the Masters Family Legacy. Looking down on Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaw's.
