She didn't have a dysfunctional family, nor a freak accident that changed her life forever. She was pretty plain and boring. Always having a love for music, she grew up around it mainly because her parents always had it playing around the house. IShe never even went more than a few hours without listening to it. However, her parents never really supported the kind of music she was into. They both learned classical instruments early in their lives and wanted her to follow in their footsteps. Ew, they wanted her to go into classical music playing. Funding all of the lessons for instruments that she never even wanted to learn, they believed in her, but not in the way she needed. She spent endless hours practicing and for what? Sure, now she knows just about every classical instrument known to man, but she hates playing them.
With her head held high, though she was constantly told the word no, she went after what she wanted. She put myself out there, and was really good at what she did. Kassidy found a band that believed in her. Since then, she packed up her things and left her family. It was hard to do, but they were honestly holding her back from being the best she could be. Se hadn't looked back since then, and she refused to pick up an instrument other than the guitar. No way, no how was she going to give into what her parents wanted. Maybe this whole thing was her trying to prove that she can be good enough. But it's working for her, so why not?
