Personality-- Assertive and outspoken; sarcastic and vulgar at times but right after sleep, you can find him more
sensitive and less of an a*****e. Even Ianto, someone he's grown vaguely fond of; Kael doesn't spare anyone his dark humor.
Ever since his fall to Earth, he's been broken- sure he'll laugh or cry with you but only because
he's mimicking you and knows that's how he should be feeling. But it isn't. He doesn't feel anything-
more or less empty and he can't figure out why.

Addictions-- Sweets, if all sweets in the World suddenly vanished, he would go insane... playing tricks on other
people's minds and stealing the souls of those stupid enough to let him grant them two wishes.

Hates-- Fruit, fruit, useless fruit. Magic/Magic users, they only cause trouble for his own powers.
Reading books with predictable plots and/or endings gets under his skin every time.
Being away from Ianto (secret admirer) is an instant mood killer as well.
Anything he can't control- such as the weather, he's terrified of it.

H I S T O R Y. . . .

Kael was born from the secret AWP (Artificial Weapons Project), raised from the start that following orders mindlessly was the only card in his deck. However, what the creator of the project never took into account was that the individual "weapons" would grow personalities- and rebellious ones at that. The five individuals turned on the Doctor but that quickly got them noticed by other power-hungry Angels. Wanting to use them in the future, they locked each of them up save one, erasing the "weapons" memories to start anew.

It wasn't until the already hectic truce between Heaven and Hell was threatened, when Heaven's advocate dies suddenly, that Kael is let out of his cage. He is given the task of filling the spot but to also be their spy in Hell for when the war would ensure; the treaty had always been pointless. The two advocates had always been in place to fairly judge to which gate a deceased soul should end up so as not to give them something to fight over but now the job was useless. Both sides wanted them to fail at this point, yearning for a fight.

Not wanting Heaven to have a Djinn up their sleeve when the War came, Lucifer made sure to have Kael on his side no matter what. One very large reason Kael became Team Hell was when the Devil stole his soul, keeping it hostage until his petty job as the advocate was done and as a soldier on his side when the time came. Kael and Ianto (Hell's advocate) and Jezreel (Kael's guard sent from Lucifer) were always meant to be each side's scapegoats, for when one fell now, it was all the more reason for them to attack because of the causality.

Kael loathes Lucifer for his immature stature but mostly because he holds something precious to him hostage. And Kael will do anything in his power to get it back, even if it means turning on those who so much as thought about stepping in his way.
