With which Gaia made scheme?

gaia's done a bunch of lyra already! Lyra Glass Dream, Lyra The Key, Lyra Vernal Equinox, Lyra Clear Seal, Her Lyra Majesty... and a whole bunch of hair recolors too. I would think it qualifies at this point, especially with how well-received it has been by the general populous! <:

Tinsel is also something that has been well received and had a lot of Gaia made recolors. The same reasoning was applied to it, it began life as a user made scheme and is on the list waiting for a Gaia similar scheme to go out with. Most likely along with Lullytuft, the same way the two teals went out with Anubis for this week.

Why does it have to go out with a gaia-made scheme? i guarantee you lyra, tinsel, and lullytuft would, if debuted solo, have lots of avis submitted and discussion surrounding them~

Popularity is not the problem. Percieved favoritism is the problem. It was decided to avoid this that the CSS would do it’s best not to feature user schemes on their own (well over a year ago it seems). There were already recent debates aimed at staff about Gaia adoption of some user schemes over others. For the CSS there are enough other things for people to debate about the schemes, we don’t need more tickets to potential drama. I’ve been doing my best to get as many user schemes featured as possible by finding even losely related schemes, like Albern’s suggestion for the two teals this week with Anubis, but user schemes on their own will remain out of the question. The very first post even says not to offer user schemes alone and that wasn’t written by me

I'm trying to think of a Gaia equivalent of Oasis, since they first had it, then a user named it and adopted it, and then Gaia readopted it.

Oasis is still considered a Gaia made scheme in this case. Since there were already multiple items which could be considered Oasis or the precursor to it. In fact many of them were featured when we featured the scheme Adventurous as it uses nearly the same teal color.

That's also what the defining bits of Ample as a User scheme versus Apitate as a Gaia scheme came down too. There was already several items with the precursor Apitate teal but only one precursor Ample.

Time to go look adventurous up, and probably reorganize my inventory some. Thank you for considering oasis to be Gaia-made, and explaining the difference for deciding if something is usermade or Gaiamade.

Gah, the first thing I think of with opalescent, is dupioni. Lullytuft is too muted, and should be paired with Sweetberry on the list. Tinsel also seems like a bad match for opalescent. Lyra is at least also saturated, uses a gradient, and has a starry aspect. I would pair lyra and opalescent together if you need to throw in a usermade scheme. Though combining the dupioni and opalescent showcases seem like a good idea to me, first and foremost.

I love it when the showcase features older, neglected schemes, so how about Ace? There's an item list here, though there also exist some gold shop items that aren't in that list, the A Sailor's Energetic Life items. I'm guessing the scheme comes from the Ace Bass item, since several other of the Ace items are tagged 'Bass' as well, but I could be wrong about that.
